Wow, what a find this was I spent 3days relaxing here with my daughter and her dog.
The cottages are so clean and comfortable and you hardly know there is anyone else here. The wildlife was so amazing to wake to every morning instead of noisy people. They have kayaks and canoes to enjoy the massive lake. I will certainly be returning her for a longer stay. The only unfortunate thing was the mosquitoes but this was due to the 3 days of drizzly weather we had. But this did not subtract from the beauty of the area. The cabins do supply spray for people who do not bring any themselves. A bonus in this COVID times is the self check-in which was so easy.

We visited Lake Weyba Cottages for my wife’s 50th birthday. We stayed in the Pavilion (cottage 1). The Pavilion was huge, with a fully equipped kitchen, dining, 2 lounge areas, large balcony overlooking the beautiful gardens. The cottage had two bedrooms (one was locked off as there was only the 2 of us). Our bedroom had a large spa bath and double shower.

We stayed with our dog, which we enjoyed, however you aren’t allowed to leave your dog alone for any time, so that limited us a bit. It would be great if they had a dog minding service or a yard that you could leave your dog for a limited time at an additional cost (of course no yappy pets should be left so not to disturb the peace of other guests).

The cottages are well spaced out and very private, you barely notice any other guests. All in all we would certainly recommend Lake Weyba Cottages are a relaxing getaway. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

This place is the absolute beez knees of getaways. Truly felt like we were in our own slice of paradise like Leo was in the movie the beach. (Good movie btw)
The self check in and check out and honesty system at reception gives you a really humble and inclusive vibe. Like you're apart of the magic as you can come and go as you please and freely frolick around the environment. From the cottages themselves to the ambiance of Mother nature, lake weyba cottages hands down, has my top vote of any accommodation I have ever visited. Thank you guys! We will be back. We didn't get to finish our paintings of the lake.

Thanks.

What a stunning place. A romantic destination 5 minutes from beautiful Peregian beach and the trendy cafes and shops there - and only 15 minutes from Noosa. We were looking for something special and we found it!
Super comfy, glam bed, quality linen, fluffy white towels and fresh flowers! We appreciated the small touches from the real coffee and real milk in the fridge to the hammock on our private verandah.

Watching over the lake and stunning gardens from our spa bath provided the perfect ending to a perfect day. My husband’s comment was, ‘Do we have to go home?’

Today is our last day of a 4 day break. This property is so peaceful and is made even more special with the kangaroos, birds their birdsong and the ducks that greet you each morning.
Lake Weyba is just at the bottom of the garden and is perfect for watching the sunset over the water.
Our cottage was perfect nestled amongst the paperbark trees directly overlooking the lake, thankyou Eddy for keeping us stocked with logs for the fire and the chat.
Thank you Ashleigh for popping by to ensure that we have everything we need.

The Guest Services Cabin is a wonderful idea. Latest magazines, dvds, push bikes and everything you need to go for a paddle. Even ice for our G & T’s and should you forget the esentials, wine is available to purchase with an honour system.

Noosa river at Tewantin is just a fifteen minute trip away where there are plenty of restaurants to suit all tastes for a spot of lunch then Back to the cottages for a peacefull afternoon. We keep clear of Hastings Street Too many Tourists:)

Lucio’s Marina Restaurant at the Marina in Tewantin is fabulous with 180 deg views over the river

Visit Soulfish Fisheries where you can purchase fresh fish direct from their own fleet of trawlers. The mud crab and oysters especially delicious taken back to the cottage and enjoyed on the deck

We will be back

We recently stayed in cottage 7. It had great views of the lagoon and it's only a short walk to the lake. We found the location and facilities great. Free use of the kayaks, fishing rods etc. which was awesome. The lake is shallow and warm so great for messing about in the water. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful and the guest services is a lovely idea, providing bikes, games, DVD's and some other items for guests. The barbie was a webber and really clean.

We did however find that the cottage is in need of some TLC. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall by the bath and there was no cover on the light switch by the door. Furniture was quite old and the pillows weren't the best. This place could be awesome with a bit of attention and updating.

My partner and I stayed here for a 3 day midweek getaway and the only downfall was that we didn’t stay longer! The cottages are perfect, such a nice size tucked away in amongst the trees. We loved waking up to the kookaburras and kangaroos. You can kayak, canoe and fish at the lake - we had quite rainy weather but it made for an even more relaxing stay. A spa bath in amongst the trees with the birds chirping and rain falling, what more could you possibly want. It feels quite remote once you’re out there but it’s only a 5 minute drive to the beach and local restaurants - 15 mins to Noosa. Absolutely stunning! We will definitely be back and can’t wait! Thanks so much to Ashley, you made the booking process such a breeze. Great customer service is such a breath of fresh air.

This is as close to heaven on earth as you can get. Uninterrupted views of nature, the sound of birds chirping and the wind blowing through the trees, watching kangaroos hopping across the grass, ducks swimming in the pond, all while enjoying the view from a hammock on your porch or the spa bath in your private cottage. It was lovely to relax in front of the wood-burning fireplace on the cooler nights, and then relax in the sunshine by the lake during the day. Our stay here was a special one that we will cherish and remember with fond memories. Highly recommend this place if you’re after a true escape.

The accommodation is clean and well thought out. A king size bed, spa bath, great sized bathroom, a kitchen area and an outside deck with barbecue. We opted to have 2 breakfasts supplied, which were huge. There is canoeing and kayaking available on the lake free of charge, as well as bicycles for guests to use. Plenty of walking trails around and near the property. We saw kangaroos and lots of different birds from our deck, including a cheeky magpie who wanted to share our breakfast.
We only stayed a couple of nights as a stopover on our journey up the coast, wish it could have been longer. This is a beautiful place and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Lovely 3 bedroom cottage in the “country” just 5 mins walk from Lake Weyba and close to all the major attractions in Noosa.
Well maintained, we loved the option of a camp fire in the evening and waking up to kangaroos in the morning. Lots of wildlife around the property which is very private but not overly secluded. Bit cool for kayaking on the river but nice free option available from owner. Kitchen is well equipped including big outside bbq and wifi very good. Wish we’d stayed longer - hopefully next time.

Didn't have pets ourselves when we stayed there. But two cabins near us had their pet dogs with them and seemed fine. As long as leashed I guess as there's quite a bit of local wildlife around.
