Anyone who chooses Guadeloupe as a travel destination will arrive in a wonderful place far away from mass tourism and will not end up in an uncomfortable wilderness. We have been to the Caribbean a lot - we have only returned to Guadeloupe several times. Here you can find everything you need without it being intrusive. Wonderful nature, the sea in all colors, beaches from coral white to volcanic black, local markets with fresh food, to name just a few things. Nevertheless, supermarkets, gas stations, pharmacies, banks - whatever you need - are always nearby. A well-maintained transport network, stable mobile phone networks, reliable water and energy supplies (now mainly wind power and geothermal energy). There are special places here too, Ti Pareo is certainly one of them! When we were here for the first time years ago, Valérie and Jean-Michel had already invested a lot of energy and work and we had a wonderful time in what was then the only accommodation. We were very surprised that this experience could be improved even further. The new accommodations are modern and yet authentic. The charm has been transferred, the peace and quiet has remained and you also have a small private pool on your veranda. The whole thing fits wonderfully into the many - not least because of Jean-Michel's green thumb - well-maintained and yet natural-looking greenery. Countless butterflies, sugarbirds and hummingbirds seem to like it very much. Depending on the season, you can find fresh mango, papaya, coconut, breadfruit, avocado, cocoa and other exotic plants on the site - Valérie always has a recipe ready. On a guided tour through the diverse plant world, everyone will be able to learn something new - I would just like to mention the vanilla! In the end, you can feel the energy, work and love that Valérie and Jean-Michel have invested here over the years in what is obviously also their own dream at every corner. We had a fabulous stay at Valerie the 2nd fortnight of September 2024. Warm welcome, exceptional and quiet setting, superbly furnished and functional villa, private pool in a beautiful tropical garden.The place is ideally located a few kilometers from shops and the most beautiful beaches and hiking.Valerie and her husband are of an unparalleled kindness, always very helpful and available for information or a friendly and enriching conversation.
