We really enjoyed our stay here. Nanette and Steve are very hospitable. We stayed in the Cottage with its well stocked breakfast supplies. I loved receiving fresh croissant every morning and we felt very at home there. An extra bonus was the washing machine that allowed us to freshen up our clothes.

A car is certainly required but I think that applies to anywhere you would stay in the area.

When we return to Blenheim we will certainly be checking this place for availability.

A charming BB with wonderful breakfast, nice room that was well-cleaned with a comfortable bed. On site was a host couple who were knowledgeable and solved most things in a gentle way as well. We got great tips on wineries and excursion destinations.

We stayed at the Garden Suite for 2 nights and couldn’t be happier. The house is a charming historic home with a lovely garden. The Garden Suite is very spacious, comfortable and with a lovely sitting area. Nanette and Steve are very gracious hosts - welcoming but not intrusive. The breakfast is wonderful (loved the hot croissants!) with fruit, cereals, toasts, and you have a choice of full English breakfast or omelette. It is a very short drive to Blenheim and the surrounding vineyards (there are so many!). Nelson is about 2 hours drive away, and is definitely doable as a day trip. We will certainly be back.

"Woodside' is a beautifully restored 19th century house in the country only 10 minutes drive from Blenheim.
Our hosts, Steve and Nanette, were a delightful couple and the accomodation is very comfortable. There is a separate annexe but we stayed in a room in the house but with its own entrance. The bedroom is quite large and there is a small (but big enough) lounge with access to the covered deck and a large separate bathroom. Breakfast can be on the private deck if the weather is good or served in the main house. And what a great breakfast it was - fruit, cereal, ham, cheese, smoked salmon, avocado, croissants.....!
Thank you Steve and Nanette. We hope to stay again.

I love it here. The rooms are clean and the host prepared lots of snacks, fruit, juice, chilled water and breakfast. This stay was definitely worth it. I get very cold easily, I wanted to come back to a warm house but since this isn’t my own house and I didn’t want to increase the bills I turned off the heater before I left. The host seems to notice I get cold easily because when I came back to the place I was surprised to find that the host helped us turn on the heater to make sure it was warm when we got back. We also got lots of croissants that tasted amazing. Thanks for the awesome stay.

Steve and Nanette have done a fantastic job of creating a welcoming B&B experience. We stayed here for 2 nights on our honeymoon and it was definitely one of our favourite stays on the trip!

The breakfast spread was top notch and we were fortunate enough to be joined by the resident fur baby Paddles who is a friendly and gentle black lab who very much enjoyed giving us his best puppy eyes for a little snack.

The room was well equipped with nice little extra touches like a jar of cookies and walnuts grown in the garden. There were wine maps and lonely planet guides etc. available in the room and Steve and Nanette were also happy to recommend things to do locally.

A haven in wine country -- close enough to the wineries, but really an idyllic country getaway that just happens to have great restaurants and wineries within reach, if you want them The B&B was so delightful, though, we just hid away over a long weekend. Freshly baked croissants each morning, along with all of the ingredients for a lovely breakfast we prepared at our time and pace. Very comfortable space, inside and out, with a great bed, amazing shower and other facilities, birds tweeting and occasional cows lolling, and rain on the tin roof. Delicious.

Very enjoyable two nights stay with a very quaint surrounding. Good room size with separate nice sitting area. It is situated between Picton and Blenhein and not really in town. Getting to it is no hassle. breakfast is great. We have been doing B&B for the last two weeks and this one compares well. Price is a little bit on the high side but I guess price may be higher in the Marlborough area

Lovely accommodation located centrally to all of the most popular wineries and restaurants in the area. The owners were very friendly and made us feel at home - a true B&B experience that is often difficult to find. The accommodation is a guest house complete with living room, bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom and two different outdoor spaces. Would highly recommend!

Stayed here for one night before the Picton Ferry. Welcomed on arrival and made to feel welcome. Room, bathroom and small living room were very well maintained and appropriately decorated for the period of the building. Home made biscuits and a selection of hot drinks available. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast far more than we expected. A continental with homemade preserves, muesli and breads. Also a menu for cooked items. Scrambled eggs on toast was delicious. all served by the hosts on the balcony. Loved our stay and highly recommend.
