If you’re a light sleeper this hotel is not for you. During my 4 nights stay I had to go to the front desk twice to complain the noise next door. They only use a dividers for their rooms so you can really hear the noise in the next room. There’s no window in our room as well. Coffee, tea, water, toiletries and slippers are being replenished everyday. They do daily house keeping as well. The hotel location is great as it is only few steps from the metro. Metro Z2 exit is just outside the hotel but we often use the M6 exit. Just take note that the hotel front desk is located at 5th floor and if the elevators are packed, there are another elevators somewhere in the middle of the building. There is Family Mart just outside the hotel.

We found out later that for 25% more we could have stayed in the Regent. The rooms themselves are very tight, but clean, maybe Three Star level. On top of the no windows minus, the four elevators are on two different circuits, so everyone on every floor (other hotels, offices, retail), pushes both buttons, so you waste enormous amounts of time going in and out.
It is adjacent to the Taiwan central rail station, which has a reasonably priced train to the airport, which is a positive.
The front desk staff are reasonably nice.
The cleaning staff missed our room.
Some retail and restaurants nearby, but not a core area.
A bargain at half the price.

Dear Guest: Thank you for your valuable comment. Actually during the high season the room rate would be a bit higher than the rate in the low season. If there's an opportunity when you visit Taipei again in the near future Please give us another chance and make a reservation directly from us by phone or via Email or our official website The room rate will be a SURPRISE for you. There are another two more elevators which only stop 3/4/5 floor ONLY in the back of the check in counter Our front desk agents will inform you when you check in. The hotel is within the office commercial building. MRT z2 entrance to hotel is the nearest but with flight of staircases. Walk further down there is a lift serve to the basement level of the mrt Station. Fast respond from hotel on my enquiry. Toilet bowl with UV light..

This hotel stay was by far the worst we've ever had. We booked two rooms for three nights, and from the beginning, it was a nightmare. The hotel, located in the Asia Plaza Building - search it up for an amazing history about this building(亞洲廣場大樓) a office space converted into accommodation that offered a claustrophobic and moldy atmosphere that posed potential hazards.
Upon checking in, one of our rooms had a malfunctioning air conditioner. Despite a lengthy wait, the staff change our room, unfortunately this didn't improve our experience. The replacement room at level 5 was unbearably noisy due to its proximity to a gym, located just on the 6th floor, while the other room was plagued by disruptive sounds from the corridor including chanting and laughters which was very eerie.
The overall atmosphere was mentally distressing and claustrophobic, making our stay extremely uncomfortable. Unable to endure it any longer, we checked out after just one night. To our dismay, the hotel, booked through booking.com, refused to refund the remaining two nights.
During the check-out process, the staff's indifference was astonishing. When returning the card keys and explaining our early departure due to discomfort, the response was a cold and dismissive "okay." It seemed as though such issues were commonplace, leaving us thoroughly disappointed with both the accommodation and the service. Book this hotel at your own risk for a thrilling horror adventure!

Good Location, very near to Taipei main station. Room cleanliness is exceptional. There is a convenient store opens 24 hours. However, receptionists cannot speak English well and did not show the service mind and if you expect the privacy room please find another place to stay because this is a budget hotel.
