The place was very clean and elegant. They offer free coffee and tea.
The most notable thing was the smiling, kind, wide- herated staff, especially Emily. They helped me finding delicious foods around, deciding where to travel in Taroko park and even reserving a permit for Zhuilu trail.
If a friend of mine travels in Taroko I will definitely send him to Mini Voyage.

I am really impressed with the place. It is easy to find and very near the train station. The rooms are quite spacious and they have a common area for relaxing and a quick breakfast. I just hope they install an elevator soon. That would be awesome.

Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Location is close to the train and bus station. Clean and comfortable room. Got shampo and soap. We stayed for two nights. A bit far from the night market, but you can't have it all. ;)

A very conveniently located hostel that is walking distance to the train station and bus interchange. It’s a great location for public transport. Walking distance to convenience shops too. The staff are really nice, friendly and accommodating! The hostel room and toilet are clean too! Enjoyed the stay here!

The hostel is near to HuaLien Station. Just a 5 min walk.
The room and toilet is really clean.
The staff are friendly, they nicely introduce the facilities and attractive activities

We are men couple who stay at 1 night at mini voyage Hotel, the best is location; you can walk from the train station to hotel in 5 minutes, and it was very very easy.
We arrive to the hotel around 10:00am, a bit early for check in time but not a problem for us, we rent the motorbike at nearby shop and ride to Toroko National Park. (Don’t miss it.

The staff are very nice and very helpful, I met Ryan upon check in and recommend me many good tips for Hualian.
We come back to check in around 5:00pm. Our room located on 2nd floor, nice room with all bath amenities. Also the bathroom is nice decoration; the room had no window but we are still comfortable. The hotel provide the instead noodle for night time.
One thing that I love in the room in the qualities of the bed, the pillow and linen. We have to admit that we sleep until late morning almost misses the train to Taipei.
Only 1 disappointment that we stay here only 1 night (It should be more than 1 night).
If I have a chance to come back to Hualian again, Mini Voyage Hotel is my answer.

I was going there for one night and i ended up staying 3. The facilities of the place are excellent, they think about every detail and everything is super clean. But far what i was most impressed about, was the super friendly and helpfull staff,answering all sort of question for me,helping me from hiring a bike (to go out of hualien),where to eat, keeping my stuff after i left, good english and so on, you can't really ask for more coming from staff service. I loved them! And i will be back :-). Thank you guys!

The location is very close to Hualien Station and easy to reach by walking.
The property is clean. The staff are very nice and helpful.
They provide coffee and tea for free. There are fridge on every floor. I choose sharing room female only. It has window facing to great mountain view. Many restaurant, minimarket nearby. also if you want to visit Taroko Gorge by bus, the bus station is just 5 minutes away by walking.

Walk out of the train station and across the square and turn right, walk for a minute and you’ll see the yellow sign on the left - easy. The staff are pleasant and helpful, reception is nice with craft beer in cans and free flow Twining’s English Breakfast tea and coffee. The rooms are spotless and well presented with more tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge upstairs. We selected rooms without windows and could have sleep forever in the darkness. Showers are powerful and there is a hairdryer in the room. Even the pillows were good and you never get decent pillows in budget accommodation in Asia. The Main Street with most of the shops, bars and restaurants around a 10 min walk away. The bus to Taroko is just near the train station. No need to stay in or next to the National Park - use Hualien and this hostel as your base.
