We absolutely loved our stay at The Temple Lodge. The accommodation is beautiful and tranquil, and as soon as we walked into The Temple Lodge we felt so relaxed and nurtured. The food at the restaurant was the best we had in Bingin, really healthy, fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The massages at the spa were amazing, the pool was pristine with a stunning view of the ocean, and the yoga classes were always excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful and very welcoming of our young child, its a very family friendly place. The location is right near the steps down to the beach so its only a short walk to the beach. We will definitely be back and highly recommend The Temple Lodge!

Temple Lodge is something very special. I loved it so much that I extended my stay and cancelled other accomodation to stay here.
I booked very last minute and as I extended my trip I moved rooms, but that was great as I got to experience 4 of the 10 Suites.
I loved each one of them and can recommend them all,. They are all unique and spacious and they have everything you need . I stayed in The Spice Suite to start for 4 nights and this has a great courtyard with a lounge and massive day bed and an outdoor shower, which is great showering under the stars!
My 2nd suite was The Samudra and if I had to pick a favourite this would be it. I loved sitting out and looking at the breathtaking ocean views on my private balcony and falling asleep to the sound of the crashing waves.
I had 2 nights then in The Mali suite, which shares an outdoor pool with The Biro suite and also has a kitchen, dining table and is like your own private villa .
After another night in The Samudra suite I then had 3 nights in The Coral, cave , which is right on the cliff edge and has a stunning ocean view.
The staff were all amazing and Ame had the patience of a saint with my ever changing plans and is a fantastic host.
Kadeck and Agus the 2 reception staff were always helpful and attentive to my requests and always happy and smiling.
The restaurant staff and housekeeping were brilliant too and nothing was ever too much trouble for them,
The breakfast which is included is delicious, healthy and very nutritious as were all the meals that I ate in the restaurant.
The view is unbelievable and has to be one of the best in Ullawatu. It was heaven floating in the pool on my lounger looking out yo the ocean and the sunsets are amazing.
I had the best stay and will definitely be back and thank you Ame and your team, you all made my holiday.

Could not reccomend this place more. Myself and 2 friends travelled from the UK to celebrate our 30th birthdays. When we arrived we were helped by the manager on reception and also the locals outside with all our bags. We stayed in the annex which had such a lovely rustic charm to it. We had so much space, the outdoor bathrooms were really cool and the pool was incredible.
A special mention to the staff who could not have been more kind and friendly, the strawberry pancakes were the best!
My flight was not until late in the evening and they allowed me to stay by the pool for the majority of the day, providing towels to shower and never made me feel like I needed to leave.
Thank you for such a wholesome and unique end to our trip, brilliant value for money and my only regret is not staying for longer

I stayed at temple lodge on the 21st and 22nd of August at Gecko suite.

We really thought the lodge is unique, in a beautiful setting and landscape and the story behind its construction is truly inspirational - there is a photobook at the restaurant with the story.
The food at the restaurant is great (we had breakfast and dinner there) and really enjoyed taking a bath outside with the seaview. The staff was also polite.

Neverthless, we felt that the suites lacked confort and cleanliness:
Our suite was rather dark and we were advised to watch out for the monkeys, so we didn't open the shutters.
The bed was not that confortable.
The mosquito net around the bed, the towels and the bed linen were shabby.
The big sofa outside, which was really confortable, was full of stains and was torned in some places.

At the restaurant, the cushions were full of stains and crumbs.

I had such high expectations and on the 2nd night I didn't even feel like going back to my room...

Lastly, on the night before our early morning departure, the staff was kind enough to request a taxi to the airport. However, a decent price with the driver should have been arranged, we should have been informed beforehand because we felt totally ripped off!!

Saying this, it is real pitty that little attention is given to details when the price charged is of 200 usd per night...

Accomodation is fantastic, great food and facilities (yoga, massages etc). Friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Amazing location: the hotel is located at the top of the mountain, and there is a staircase to go down directly to Bingin Beach (4 min walk). You can chill there or grab a surf!

A tranquil, unique guest house that is welcoming and comfortable. Beautiful design and features throughout property and incredible views from pool, deck and some rooms as it is situated right above Bingin Beach. The onsite restaurant serves beautiful, healthy, tasty food and breakfast is especially lovely and included in room price. Onsite yoga and spa where you can get massage and other spa treatments for very reasonable price. I couldn't fault it and I look forward to returning again.

I recently stayed for 4 x nights in the incredible Eagle's Nest room, which is literally nestled into the cliff edge overlooking the sea.

I arrived at sunset and was wowed by the view of the sunset over the infinity pool. The view from my room was even more incredible, I especially loved my outdoor shower and toilet! Listening to the sound of the waves at night from my room was just magical ✨

The staff were also incredibly helpful in organising transport and giving me tips on the local area - special shout out to Kadek! Morning yoga and breakfast were both wonderful, as was the incredible massage at the spa - best I’ve ever had!

I just wish I could of stayed longer!! ❤️

We are a family of 5 who stayed here for 5 nights. I’ve wanted to visit here for about 10 years since a yoga teacher mentioned it to me once and I finally made it. We arrived late at night (delayed flight) and when I woke to the view the next morning, I actually cried. It’s totally breathtaking!!! Our room was rustic luxury with views to die for, even from the outdoor shower. The kids loved the pool, the visiting monkeys and the great beaches. We found Bingin beach a bit dangerous because of sharp rocks where you swim but it’s really easy to get around to other beaches. Lots of great places to eat locally too. The staff were very friendly and helped us out with hiring scooters and anything else we needed. We loved our stay! Oh and the massage at the temple spa was SO good!

This place is pure magic !

I loved the food, the staff, the yoga studio, the black bees pollinating the flowers. The wild monkeys, the rustic yet stunning rooms, the ten star traditional massages and the infinity dream pool overlooking the Uluwatu ocean cliffs. I was sad to leave but felt so happy to have experienced such a zen zone and will be back in a heart beat!

The Temple Lodge is a beautifully built retreat on the cliff top, we stayed in the Temple Suite which was quiet and peaceful with our own pool. The food was excellent and the staff really helpful and friendly.
We really enjoyed the views, the gelato cart and being able to walk up and down to the beach, but also being able to retreat to a quiet sanctuary.
I also loved the different yoga classes daily and the lovely space they have created for yoga.

Hi no its not in Kuta it’s in Bingin, at least around 30-45min drive to those spots in Kuta. Not sure why their location is defaulting to Kuta.

You can always ask the owner, they will tell you that the Italian looking name which is mentioned on the invoice is no problem. I payed through Bank Transfer and had the same. Just hit send and enjoy your stay, it's a real special place.
