Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We enjoyed two separate stays at Heaven's Rest during our last New Zealand visit. The first was just a couple of nights at the start of our trip in the 2 bedroom Suite, and then at the end of the trip we stayed a couple of nights in the 2 bedroom/2 bathroom tiny home. Both accommodations were extremely well appointed with comfy beds, crisp linens and spotlessly clean bathrooms. The 2bedroom suite is located in a wing of the main house, and is adjacent to the common lounge, the deck and the kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed interacting with other guests in the common areas but if you weren't of a mind, you could relax comfortably in your room and watch TV or chill on the deck away from others. The kitchen was very well stocked and the continental breakfast supplies were plentiful with many options... even fresh eggs if you choose to cook. The two bedroom/two bathroom tiny home allowed for more privacy and was every bit as comfortable and spotless as the main house. Both the house and the two bedroom tiny home have a rural aspect which is extremely relaxing. Manager Robert was super friendly and helpful. The location is about a 5-10min drive from the bustling centre of Pukekohe with all the conveniences and an array of restaurants if you don't feel like cooking. Heaven's Rest B&B is simply a delightful place to stay and we will definitely make time to stay again when next we visit beautiful NZ.

Lovely place for a stopover! Robert was friendly and responsive. The family wing was private, clean, and comfortable, and breakfast was thoughtfully laid out, with sufficient options for a family of teenagers. Great place to explore the Hunua ranges, where there are some nice walking trails. The B&B is conveniently located near Auckland and a peaceful stopover before our flight out.

My husband and I stayed here the night before our flight from Aukland. The accommodation was perfect with everything we could possible want or need. Very comfy bed and best shower we have had throughout 4 weeks travelling in NZ. Even delicious cookies. Can’t fault this place. Just book it, you won’t be disappointed.

Stayed in a double room overnight and will definitely be back when we need a similar stopover. Robert was extremely welcoming, and allowed us to check in early so that we could relax all afternoon to enjoy the facilities. Great selection for breakfast, and many helpful blackboard comments about surrounding attractions.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa with friends, very well equipped kitchen, plenty of breakfast options , lovely outlook onto farmland, peaceful and private. Spotlessly clean and modern. Would highly recommend 😃

We attended a family wedding at Bombay and this was the Perfect place to stay, Only a few KMs away from our venue, Our hosts even dropped us at the function and picked us up later that evening..no fuss and a small fee. Amazing country outlook and a beautiful clean and roomy home. We will look no further in the future when needing accommodation in this area, Thank you to our excellent hosts, Bruce & Janeece

A very handily located stay, right near the Bombay service area with a selection of food outlets. We had a cabin with views across the fields. The cabin was beautifully and artfully decorated with all the facilities. Breakfast was do-it-yourself with a generous selection of foods. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I TripAdvisor had 10, rather than 5, stars I would give Heaven's Rest 10 of 10.

Stayed here over the weekend for a night. As our flight was delayed we let the hosts know of our late arrival but this did not phase them in any way with keys left for us along with instructions. Had a pleasant time meeting and conversing with the other guests before a good night's sleep. Breakfast was cereals, toast and fruit etc, although I noted eggs were also available to make an omlet or boiled etc.

Very nice and friendly, kind of a former farmhouse that has been converted to a B&B. Spacious rooms and (shared) living area, good breakfast. Everything was very clean, very friendly, and quiet. There is a whirlpool on the terrace. Washing can be done for 2 NZD. Kitchen and fridge can be freely used. About 1 km away there are shopping possibilities, a McDonalds, and a KFC. 7 km away, there is extended shopping in Pukekohe. Auckland city center and aireport are about 35 km away to the North. It is easily accessible as it is near the main M1 motorway from Auckland to Hamilton. To Hobbiton, it is about a 90 min drive. It is also not very far to the coast (maybe 35 min). Everything is on vene floor, i.e. no problems for elderly or handicapped people. We have really enjoyed our stay.

This is just like staying at a very nice home. The hosts are very nice. The home is large and in a great rural location but close to highway. There are even some cows near the house. The breakfast was do it your self with a lot to choose from. Recommended.
