My wife and I together with another couple booked a cottage in Merisi almost 4 months in advance. We have absolutely no regrets! Untouched nature around your perfectly comfortable cottage, a remote location up in the Adjari mountains (an 1 .5 hour ride from Batumi railway ststion), a brand new restaurant with an exclusive "only for 2" all glass table hanging over the cliff plus delicious food and Georgian wine ! What else could you wish for a weekend in Adjaria?! Highly highly recommended. P.S. While in Merisi, you'd better forget about your business and work))

I stayed at Eco house with my partner in February when it was beautifully wintery and cold, the scenery (which speaks for itself in the pictures) really was magical with snow capped mountains, white dense fog that came and went and on the last day sun and clear blue skys. Really memorable.

The architecture of the cabins is clever, modern and minimalist and so doesn't take away from the surroundings. The star feature which is the bedroom surrounded by windows which juts out over the mountain was so picturesque. Absolutely stunning.

We spend the two days we were there inside the cabin but if the holiday was longer we would have looked for trails on the mountains to do some hikes. And if that's the plan then I think going in summer would be better when the conditions are better for that.

The customer service was excellent, staff were attentive and friendly and very timely with any requests to start the fire, deliver room service etc.

The only constructive criticism I have is minimal:
- the heart shaped fur rugs in the cabin looked a bit old and tacky and could be replaced with a rug which suits the rustic style more
- the food is very average. We enjoyed the Georgian beef stew and the pork shashlik, but the rest was okay at best. However the presentation is lovely

Due to the freezing temperatures on our last night we had no hot water the day we were to travel and so ice cold showers in the cabin which was very cold from the fire burning out early in the night was not fun. But we had lovely hot showers on the days before.

All in all I highly recommend. I have not stayed anywhere so beautiful and different before. It truly is a peceful getaway far out into the mountains.

The idea of the hotel is brilliant. You re surrounded of the greens and mountains, listening only birds songs and silent. This hotel has there own restaurant and if to be honest, food is terrible. My advice is to take your own food with you, and never use the service from this restaurant. I ordered the chicken soup, which was full of vinegar and eggplants with walnut, which was over solted. They offer to exchange the food, but I prefer stay hungry cuz don't trust the chef who can spoil the simple dishes

I was there for my birthday, I really enjoyed the view and the vibe, the birds singing was perfect in the morning. The bedroom was incredible and so dreamy, the food was also very delicious, the only thing that I can mention was that the Hot-tub water was not hot enough and it was disappointing but still you can it. The staff could have been more friendly in my point of view. But I enjoyed every moment.

It is a wonderful place. Highly recommend it for the weekend escape with friends, with loved ones or even to spend weekend along with your thoughts

Of course the main advantage here are peace, tranquility and beauty of the nature, you are wowing here all the time! 🥰 the views from your glass cube bed, the views from the restaurant, the views simply while walking - all of them are stunning ❤️
The staff in the hotel is sooo friendly, they seem to predict everything you want.
The way down to the cottage is steep so do not forget to ask staff to help you with luggage (if you have some), they have the special machine for that 😂
The hotel has its own restaurant - you can order food by Viber/Whatsapp and either having it in your cottage or you can go up to the restaurant that has a great view
The last part of the road can be challenging for the ones who are not used to mountain roads. If you are not a profi, just ask hotel a transfer. The road from Batumi takes 1,5 hour.

I am a solo traveler. I came here because I saw the beauty of it on Instagram, and it really didn’t disappoint. I wanted to escape the bustling city, and this place welcomed me with serenity and quietness in the mountains. I traveled here on Christmas Eve, and I was blessed with snowfall. I stayed in cabin Eliko and was truly impressed with it. I am truly thankful for their friendly and accommodating staff. I only met two of them, Jemo and Zaza. They responded to my requests timely. Thank you so much, Zaza, for helping me with all the beautiful and amazing pictures. As a solo traveler, I was struggling to get good videos and pictures, and he helped me to get the most epic videos that I could ever ask for. I really didn’t face any difficulties during my stay. The water was hot enough, and the room was clean without any bug problems. And even if there could have been some bugs or insects, it wouldn’t have surprised me because this place is high in the mountains, so that is given. That's the way of the mountains. There was a power cut and internet cut for a short time due to the snowfall, but hey, that was the best thing to ever happen because the mountains were absolutely stunning without the lights. I could really witness the glory of nature without any human intervention, and I am truly happy it happened the night I stayed here. Yes, they have a wood stove that kept me warm all night. The food is amazing with very good prices. They even arranged transportation for me at my request to go and see the waterfall. Again, the best thing that I did in the cold here. I love this place… stunning mountain views, friendly staff, and best and cheap foods. Plus photography for my single self.
Just a side note, it would be easier you you ask the hotel for pick up from the location, as they are more familiar with the mountain roads.

P/S: The picture here was taken by Zaza.

The hotel is located almost 2 hours driving from Batumi. The road in last section is exciting.

All rooms have amazing view. 2 beds, heater, fireplace, kitchen are equiped in the room with shower room and toilet. Outside the room has Jacuzzi.

All staff are nice and kind.

There is restaurant in resort. Room service is available with 5 Lari charge. Food are tasty and big portion.

We were happy to stay at this resort.

If you want to forget about noisy city and spend time surrounded just by nature, mountains, fresh air and great local people - come. Not only for pictures and nice view. Its for a soul. For great food, wine, comfortable bed, cool location next to the waterfall. They do have everything what is needed, although you are in the middle of everywhere. It can look more luxury, than cozy in the pictures. But in real life it’s more cozy, than luxury. Staff is really great. People in Georgia will make your stay unforgettable, you feel so awaited.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The unique bedrooms feature glass walls allowing for breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The highlight, however, was the private jacuzzi on the veranda. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall hospitality. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with a touch of luxury, this mountain lodge is the perfect place to stay.

The property offers transfer service for you. Let them know a few days in advance of the date and time of your arrival in Batumi (?) and they will set it up for you at a market price.
