We were on the ground floor with a beautiful view of the mountains. Once the patio door was shut, couldn’t hear the helicopters nor planes. Given the airport is minutes away the lack of noise was great.
Kitchen has a bar fridge, dishwasher, plates etc (however some was 2 of, 3 of or 4 of. Would have been better if all was 4 of so you didn’t have to wash every day), pots/pans, toaster, kettle and some tea/ coffee. Also a clothes washer with the right setting, is a dryer.
Dining table room for 2 and 1 single lounge chair. Huge bed and good room for clothes. Bed was huge and comfortable. Floor width glass door/ window to balcony overlooking the mountains. Across the road the land is currently vacant so private and no car traffic.
Bathroom is comfortable and great shower but no heated towel rail.
It’s about a 5 minute walk to shops including a large supermarket and some food venues.
There is a public bus service to Arrowtown or Queenstown but it’s very sporadic sadly and services are cancelled. But it took 18 minutes to get to Queenstown and cost $2/adult instead of a taxi at about $40!
Room cleaning was sometimes very late in the day but it didn’t bother us as we actually didn’t need it.
Parking is available out front but first in gets it. So during peak season I’d imagine it’s a problem.

Overall: pros are comfortable with everything you would want, close to airport, quiet location, near supermarket. Cons: it’s a 15+ minute drive to Queenstown, no heated towel rack in bathroom and parking could be a problem.

This hotel has that brand spanking new feel. The room was spotlessly clean and very spacious for a studio. No airport noise noticed by us when we were there at all.

The studio room had a larger than normal kitchenette, including a dishwasher, all the kitchen equipment you could need for a short stay, washing machine and microwave.

Staff were friendly and accommodating.

If you like a morning walk, head to the end of the street where there is a fabulous river trail that you can take to the bridge and back.

As we arrived late we ordered the breakfast pack and we’re pleasantly surprised by how much food was included with this for a $15 price tag (see photo),

We will definitely stay again.

Decided to stay out by the airport for a night because we had a later flight in and it was the best decision I could have made. Quest apartments is one of the nicest accommodations I’ve stayed in and was nicer than anywhere else I’ve stayed in Queenstown.
The check in was seamless - even though it was after hours, our room key was waiting in a safe for us. The room was immaculate, with sound proofing and double glazing. They had the latest movies available for free on the TV which was a lovely surprise.
Incredibly good value for money, especially compared to other accommodation in Queenstown, which are much more expensive and nowhere near as nice.
There’s a bus stop into the centre a couple minutes walk from the Quest - $2 per person. Very easy.
I will definitely stay here again.

So very very comfortable and beautifully clean. Remarkable accommodation since we really booked this site accidentally.

After 17 days in a camper we thought we’d stay here before jetting off to Australia for the next stage of our trip.

We arrived a little early so our room wasn’t ready so we decided to walk around the little shopping area just a few minutes walk away to get something to eat. When we got back not only was the room ready and beautifully prepared we’d been given an upgrade to a room on the first floor and views of the Remarkables mountain range.

The room was beautiful. A small cooking and washing area, large bathroom and living area with a large bed and a balcony from where we could see the mountains.

Despite the proximity of the airport there was hardly any aircraft or traffic news. We had a great nights sleep and fully refreshed for the next day.

We chose the eat out in one of the local restaurants but, of course, we could just have easily bought food and prepared it ourselves in the kitchen area.

All in all a great and very relaxing place to spend the night. We will be back.

Very spacious and clean. The hotel is new too. Staff are very friendly and efficient. The accommodation is situated 20 mins drive from Queenstown city centre and 10 min to Queenstown airport. If you do not mind the driving I would recommend to stay here. You have malls, large supermarkets eg Pak & Save, Countdown and New World within distance. I have stayed in Queenstown city for a couple of days - it is too crowded and touristy for me. The city centre hotel rooms are smaller in size and aged. I will definitely stay here when I visit again.

We wanted this location for this visit as opposed to many other places we have stayed in Queenstown. So with a big demand on places we secured two nights at a reasonable price in a studio room. Spacious clean, dishwasher, cooking facilities, washer dryer all you need. Litte vista from a small window. If we could have had a studio balcony that would have been great. But we did have mountain side view room from our small window. Service was great they allowed me a slighty later check out, offered me an umbrella, and looked after my bag while I awaited my flight. Great free parking on site. Walk to shops and airport and the lake and river. Recommend.

The Quest Queenstown Frankton is absolutely amazing, from the clean spacious rooms to all staff making the place run smoothly. Reception always greeted us with a friendly 'Kia ora' and a bit of banter, to the cleaning staff going beyond to cater for our needs. Thankyou so much for a very enjoyable experience.

This hotel is amazingly luxurious with friendly and very helpful staff. Check in is a breeze, the views from your room will take your breath away. It’s only a 10-15min bus ride into Queenstown City Centre. If you want to get away from the busy City, this is a perfect location being very close to the airport.

The welcome on arrival was so friendly, We had a corner suite that looked over the mountains. It was spotlessly clean, very cosy and comfortable on a chilly night, PJ'S restaurant is a 5 minute walk from the Quest and the food is 10/10. The only negative was we also looked over a construction site which spoilt it a little bit.
