Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a fantastic afternoon spent here. Came as a family of 4, out for Sunday brunch while watching the football. Food was outstanding, and staff very friendly. We were served by Chloe, who went above and beyond throughout our visit. She’s an asset to the team. Thankyou Chloe😃

Last minute table with family and the team were gracious to help get a table during the football, st Patrick’s and hotel check-ins. Very happy bunch, food was amazing. Hats off to Chloe, her team and the kitchen team - thanks guys, we’ll be back! (Thanks for agreeing the photos)

Absolutely amazing Sunday lunch. Went with a group of friends and was well looked after. Food was delicious and presented extremely well. We’ve been looking for a good place for a roast and we have definitely found one! The manager, Leah, was really helpful along with all of the other staff.

Relaxing and refreshing. The village hotel was extremely welcoming. The staff were all friendly and the customer service. Dan on reception never failed to greet me or check how I was doing. He was extremely patient and willing to answer all my endless questions. The hotel is beautiful, good food, and if you like fitness it has a decent sized pool, a BIG gym and all the extras, steam room etc. Definitely recommend for business, pleasure or if you just want to get away and relax.

I was having a business meeting at the Cheadle village. It’s the little things that make you want to re visit. I want to thank Rahat Choudhry the epitome of the forever diminishing customer service. Big smiles, always happy to help mindset he helped me out with emergency print out of a document I needed to send and helped me charge my phone (as I had been on conference calls all morning it completely died and had forgotten my charger) Amidst the chaos there is always the wonderful staff at Starbucks who are always ready to help and make any chaotic day better. Thank you and please continue with your amazing individual personalities 😊

I'd like to commend Rahat Choudhry, the Manager who dealt with our complaint on a previous visit. He gave us the 5 Star Treatment but wasn't on duty when we returned. Hopefully one of his colleagues has already thanked him for us. Our previous visit resulted in several complaints about our noisy room.

I went to the soul and Motown night over the weekend and it was the best night! The food was unreal definitely 100% worth the money, polite friendly staff, the DJ and Singer were amazing, the Photo Booth was a great touch. I took my mum for a Mother’s Day treat and she loved every minute of it! I went to the Christmas one aswell and that was just as great and I’m going along to the Ibiza classics in July! Looking forward to that as the other two nights have been amazing :)

Nightmare! “Booked” for Mother’s Day. The place was chaos. I’d compare to a McDonalds! It was so loud we couldn’t hear each other. Went to order and they’d ran out of beef for the roast.. ok we will have turkey. The “crumble” the waiter mentioned was sold out by the time we ordered 5 minutes later. We walked out. It stunk of BO. Absolute carnage.

Room Tip: Avoid if you think this is a “resturant” it was a rough pub that was like a McDonald’s. Not what...
