We booked 4 nights at the Majestic Elegance Club for a Thanksgiving getaway. Despite an issue with a canceled flight and shifting check-in/check-out dates (seriously call ahead several times to your booking company and the hotel to get this squared away in advance so you don’t lose 2+ hours sorting it out at check-in time like we did!), we had an amazing time. The property is well maintained and the staff very friendly. We made sure to bring 5s and 1s in USD to take care of our bartenders, housekeeping, etc. A few tips & shout-outs: Japanese and French are the only restaurants requiring a reservation. The Japanese is a very quick meal. The chefs aren’t as impressive as at a real hibachi, but Michelangelo was a lot of fun and had a big personality. “Yeah, baby!” The food at the French restaurant was the best we had - the lobster bisque and the beef sirloin are the standouts. Skip dessert at all the sit downs and get it from the buffet! The desserts there are impressive and the tastiest available. Our butler for the Elegance Club (Melvin) was very accessible via What’sApp at all hours for any questions we had. Covid testing was available for free at the Theater every morning and the process was fairly easy to navigate. You can save time by bringing a paper copy of your passport with you when you travel. Otherwise you can make and print a copy at the lounges. Results were back in less than 2 hours. The hero of our trip was the pool/towel attendant for the beachside pools at the Elegance Club - Marckendy! Despite waking up before 8 most days to head to breakfast and the pool, most of the beds were already taken by towels/personal items. Marckendy was so helpful and made sure to find a bed for us to relax by the pool and checked in with us each day to see if we would need one the next day. He even tried to make our stay better by checking in to see if we wanted to book massages at the spa. He also made sure sunscreen and tanning oil was available by the towel stand in case you didn’t remember to bring your own. If you’re planning to stay in the Elegance Club, make friends with him! The best server at the Elegance pool was Judit. She got our drink orders right every time and gladly put them in our own reusable travel cups. Yaseny at the Piano Bar also is a lot of fun and has a firey personality, and Ismael at the club swimup bar will keep you well watered all day! Drinks are strong at those two bars. If you’re looking for an enjoyable week away, consider booking this resort.

The best resort I've ever been too in my 20 years of travelling. Been coming to Mexico, Jamaica etc a ton. Hands down the best resort. Stayed in the Adults Section Swim up room. Glad we payed the extra for the Butler service and swim out pool. Well worth it. We messaged Leon on What's app for anything we needed. Asked us what kinds of bottle we wanted upon arrival. Blew up out floatie. Got us reservations at the French and Japanese restaurants, got our PCR test booked (38 US a person). Food was amazing at every restaurant. Never tried the Buffet. If you get the Majestic Club upgrade you can go to the Italian restaurant for breakfast and order whatver you want. Eggs Benedict was awesome. Ocean was amazing as well. Pure sand. Can't wait to go back. Oh also Room service is free off your tv with the upgrade. Pizza and Burgers were the best.

My wife and i came here for our honeymoon. We stayed in the rooftop plunge pool and all inclusive. We were greeted by the friendly staff with a drink. The check in process was easy and done within 15 minutes. We were introduced to our “butler” Enrique who showed us to our room with our luggage. Enrique told us he’d be there to take care of anything we needed and he did not disappoint. The food was good. We enjoyed the Mexican restaurant and steakhouse the most for dinner. For breakfast we enjoyed “Flavors” buffet. The staff was friendly and nice however, Enrique “butler” (hate that word)… he was nothing short of incredible. He checked in on us every single day throughout the day to make sure we had everything we needed an more. Enrique helped us schedule events and activities when we asked. Enrique also sent us a schedule of the days events every morning so we knew what restaurants would be open for breakfast lunch and dinner and the times. He informed us about the shows and activities at night as well. Enrique really made our trip special. He was there every step of the way to make it special. He tended to all our needs and requests and we never waited for his help. I even asked Enrique for assistance in printing something for us and he replied he had already did it for me and my wife and he would drop the paperwork off to our room. Enrique was incredible and really made our trip special and unique. We had a trip planned for July at a different resort and we have canceled that trip and plan to return to majestic because of how good Enrique treated us. We could not have asked for a more friendly , caring and responsive help than what we got from Enrique while we were there. Thank you for everything ! We want to thank Enrique for taking care of us and making our trip so special to us. We will see majestic again soon and are looking forward to it !

AMAZING! The only words to describe this place. We have never done an all inclusive as a family before and this is definitely the way to vacation! Everyone was so helpful and willing to assist with anything we needed. We had an absolute ball at the swim up bar, Dennis and Eduardo were the highlights of our trip! So friendly and really became part of the family! We will definitely be returning!

Just returned home a few days ago after staying here for 2-1/2 weeks - We had a Elegance Club 1 Bedroom Suite Swim-Out and this did not disappoint - we used our pool much more than we expected and were in an excellent location - Our Maid - Carmen was the Best - Our Butler Romero was on spot booking our Covid testing - he did have a few days off and we were not assigned an alternate Butler, so we did made our own Specialty Dining Reservations ourselves (no issue at all). Reservations for the week open up on Saturdays around lunch time. Speaking of Dining, the only restaurant that we thought was an epic fail was the Japanese Teppanyaki. it is very hard to see what they are cooking without standing up. There was way too much food and we were done after the 1st Main course of Chicken (beef and salmon were given as additional courses on top of the chicken - we and others left after the chicken course) We felt bad for the chef, but this was not his fault, he is instructed what to do - Yes, there are waits especially in the Italian Restaurant, but we really had no where to be. The only other restaurant issue we ran into was sometimes they changed the Mar House to a buffet from an a la carte due to large groups, but we never knew the set-up until we got there. For those with any food allergies - there is absolutely no issue here, Sebastian and Giovanni went over the top to make sure there was no cross contamination - so never worry about this here. The breakfast buffet was amazing in the morning with smoothies and loved the Ice Coffee with a shot of Baileys. I cannot comment on activities outside the resort as we never left the resort for entire stay. The beach is incredible and although there was seaweed, they did clean up every day we were there. You can literally walk for miles in either direction of the hotel. For some reason the beach bar which recently opened was closed for 2 days, so drink service was very slow, but again no issue for us, I love to walk and got my own drinks, only to be met by a server to insist he carries our drinks back to our beach chairs. Speaking of beach chairs, there are numerous seating on the beach and really no need to get up at 700am, not unless you want a front row palapa - ..... If you are getting married here, I only heard positive results and the locations are amazing with incredible views and set-ups. Being there for 2-1/2 weeks we did see the clientele change quite frequently especially on the weekend when some wedding groups appear - but really did not bother us - but great for people watching. A big shout out to Brandon Kardashian, what a plus to this resort entertaining everyone it seems 6 days a week - .... could not ask for someone better to keep us all entertained. Although we normally don't go to evening entertainment shows, we were impressed on the shows we did catch including the African Fire Show, incredible performers. Yes there are always hits/misses at an all inclusive, but if you focus on the small issues you are destroying your vacation, as the pluses far outweigh any negatives. I would not really recommend this property for kids - especially say 8-15 years old as just really not much for them to do, not unless they are very self sufficient, there were very few kids there and the ones that were there were very well behaved - so kudos to the parents!!!! Every staff member was incredible friendly and outgoing - Oh, the gym was very impressive with a lot of stations, room and stationary equipment to give you as much of a work out that you will need - Last word of advise for those Canadians needing a PCR Test - when you get tested, it is not very clearly marked as everyone is standing in one line regardless of the test required. I went and took a sneak peek in testing room and advised we needed PCR and he took us immediately, as the line was super long for those US citizens requiring only Antigen Testing. There should be definitely be 2 lines formed to cause less confusion and not wasting time. And yes, we would definitely return!!!! Thank you to all the incredible staff including Guillermo for making our vacation that much more special!!!!!
