The AluaSun Continental Park Hotel & Apartments offers a mixed bag in terms of value, with guests appreciating the inclusive deals but raising concerns about extra charges and limited culinary diversity. While the service garners compliments for staff friendliness and helpfulness, visitors have experienced occasional rudeness and disorganization. Room cleanliness is reliably noted, although the size, soundproofing, and amenities sometimes fall short. The hotel's vibrant atmosphere and proximity to the beach are highlights, as is the commendable cleanliness throughout the property. However, the convenient location does come with the downside of noise for some guests.

We had a great holiday here as a family. We stayed all inclusive and what was included went way above our expectations.

We were a large group of a variety of ages from 9 months old to 75 years and all of us had a great stay.

The staff were the highlight, as they were all so friendly and helpful. Reception were so patient with us trying to check in 11 people into 4 rooms and were always happy to help. The activity staff are full of energy and really entertaining and the food/bar staff were friendly.

The food was great, way above our expectations. The food was self serve buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast and lunch was mostly the same each day but I would expect that anyway. Dinner was really varied with some staple things being there each night but there was a few different things to try and we all enjoyed it.

The evening entertainment too was more than we expected, with a few different performers during the week and some in house activities.

The rooms were clean and tidy and although not the biggest, I wouldn’t describe as small. Housekeeping came each day to make the beds and replace towels if requested.

The all inclusive standard in terms of including beer, wine and local spirits plus soft drinks. I have read some reviews where they said it barely included anything but we found everything was there, even tea and coffee available self serve at the bar until the evening. Some cocktails or premium spirits could also be purchased, but we didn’t feel any need to we were happy with the included drinks. They also had a snack bar that was available all day with things such as burgers and chips or hot dogs etc. we didn’t use it too much as we filled up on the yummy lunch.

Location wise, it’s a short walk down to the beach and there are shops and restaurants in walking distance. There’s also a bus stop only a few minutes away which goes to Alcudia.

Overall, we would recommend this hotel and would be more than happy to stay again!

We stayed as a family ages ranging from 26 to 82. Check in was quick, out of 4 rooms 2 were ready so we dropped our luggage into one of the rooms and went for lunch, the older gentleman behind reception was lovely, professional, funny and friendly
The hotel was exceptionally clean, rooms on the small side but adequate.
The food was varied and tasty but rarely hot. On one occasion we found a plaster from a holidaymaker inn one of the salads, we pointed this out but instead of taking the whole dish away the chef spooned out the part with the plaster in, this needs addressing. The desserts were the same every day, fruit (some tinned, some fresh) an assortment of cakes and mousse and ice/cream, all were very nice
The staff in the dining room were non engaging or friendly and plates were not cleared quickly, I don’t think there were enough staff for the amount of people using the restaurant which may be the reason.
The guests were predominantly French, Spanish and German which was nice although twice at the bar I got ignored and served after other people, this may have been accidental.
On our first evening I popped to the bar but was told the all inclusive was a separate bar, the coffee in the all inclusive bar was from a machine and you were given a paper cup, the ‘other bar’ served coffee in a cup and saucer from a proper coffee machine with ground coffee, this was reserved for paying customers although as all inclusive I thought I’d already paid for my coffee and wasn’t happy about this
There were always sun loungers available and a rule in place not allowing you to reserve them with towels but this was ignored by a few and the rule wasn’t enforced. The entertainment guy around the pool made our holiday, complete opposite from the other staff, friendly, worked extremely hard and a joy to watch, looks like he enjoyed his job and it showed, his name was Daha.
We had 2 rooms overlooking the pool and 2 overlooking the road. The road side was quiet but the pool side was extremely noisy as the entertainment was just outside, the walls were very thin so was again very noisy with people up and down the corridors at night, we didn’t sleep very well in the pool rooms.
The beach was lovely and Sunbeds 15 euros for 2 and an umbrella but they were very close together with no personal space, there were safes attached to the umbrella to leave valuables etc in whilst in the sea which was a good idea. The beach sellers were in abundance and passed by far too frequently, it did get annoying after a couple of hours.
Don’t bother waiting for a bus on market day to Alcudia, most went straight passed full and the one that did stop that we que’d for was filled up very quickly by people not in the que who pushed and shoved to get to the front. Take a taxi, cheap and comfortable although the driver charged us double on the way there to what we were charged on the way back, get a price beforehand. Market day was wonderful but very busy.
All in all we had a lovely holiday but for a 4* some improvements are necessary. I’d give it 3* at the most

After reading reviews ahead of our visit I was very worried however I didn’t need to be!
We arrived early around midday- we check in with reception and given all information that we needed for our stay, our room wasn’t ready but we weee told this would be ready at 2pm and we could store our luggage in the baggage room. We then went to explore the hotel and local area while we waited.
The hotel itself is fairly small in comparison to the usual hotels we go to however lots of seating areas with parasols and sun loungers around the pool.
During our stay we spent a mix of time at the hotel and exploring/cycling!
The entertainment team were great and very energetic they encouraged everyone to take part and made the activities fun! And They wasn’t pushy if you didn’t want to take part!
Evening entertainment was good we stayed for 7 nights on 5 of these night the entertainment was provided by external acts such as singers and dancers.
Beer at hotel was San Miguel husband was a fan of this and all inclusive also included Prosecco which was a a hit for me!
Drinks in day are served in plastic cups you pay one euro at reception to get a ticket which you exchange for you cup at the pool bar, when re ordering drinks a fresh cup was given and when you had finished for the day token was given back!
On the evening tokens not needed and drink served in glasses!

Pro: great location and a great base for a cycling holiday great entertainment team. And I personally enjoyed the fact it was a smaller hotel especially travelling as a couple in middle of summer holiday the hotel wasn’t too crowded

Cons: the food wasn’t the best we did find something to eat everyday however the buffet could be improved.
Also while evening drinks were served in glasses, Prosecco came in a flute all other drinks came in a tumbler style glass - I would of actually preferred to drink my wine from a wine glass and don’t understand while they don’t use wine glasses but they use champagne flutes

We stayed a week at the end of July. The good thing was that it was very close to the nice beach Playa de Muro. The beds were comfortable and the air condition worked well.
You could borrow towels for the pool or beachfront a deposit of 10 euros.
.
To get any place by the pool, you need to reserve a place with a towel before opening, otherwise all seats were occupied.
The food was not good. Most of the time there were very long queues for what was prepared on site like fried eggs, omelette and grilled. Sometimes you had to wait so long that you had to leave empty-handed. The wait staff barely spoke any word of English, so it was very difficult Things to do. The same was true of the cleaning staff. The food was very repetitive and almost all the meat was pork in some form. If you wanted to eat breakfast early it was not possible to sit outside during the first hour 07:30 to 08:30 because they cleaned there then. It was not possible to get coffee on the food either for lunch or dinner, but you had to go to the pool bar to get this. The pool bar had a very limited selection of both snacks and drinks.
The gym is very small and has broken machines and there is not even a note about them being broken
It was very loud with different types of programs by the pool throughout the day. If you wanted to take it easy, it was impossible, because there were always loud activities going on.
The cleaning was very arbitrary and sloppy, sometimes they cleaned early and sometimes very late in the afternoon.
Wi-Fi worked very poorly and by the pool it was impossible to connect. You had to borrow both iron and ironing board.
The balconies were very small. It was loud with music from the “entertainment” from the pool area until about 11.15 pm.

We booked two rooms in an all inclusive regimen from Aug 11 - 17. When we got there on Sunday, we were told that they didn't have our rooms and that they had communicated that to us, which was untrue.

They wanted to relocate us to a different hotel, 40 minutes away from the one we were on. Even though they claimed it was much superior to this one, it made no sense forcing us to do so when we booked that specific hotel because of its location. Only after asking for the complaints book we were given an alternative - 1 night in Aluasun Bocaccio and then we would go back to Continental Park on the following day, with all travel expenses convered by them

Both rooms were very spaceous, however, there were some issues we didn't really like. The superior room had a door inside that led to the next room. Despite locked, it seemed like we were sharing a room with other people, as everything could be heard.
The regular room had, for some reason, a 3rd bed and on the 4th morning the cleaning staff knocked at the door asking for that bed to be moved into a different room. This would have been fine had we not the "Do Not Disturb" sign at the door

The hotel has decent facilities and a nice variety of food choices at meals and drinks at the bar. The staff were very friendly and the entertainment personnel were all very dynamic and engaging (shoutout to Daha, Andrea and Lex). However, it feels like the nights ended too early (around 10 pm), especially when knowing other hotels from the group also ran quiz nights and other activities

Overall, we had a nice stay but the initial situation and how it was handled before asking for the complaints book were a 1/5 rating. We will most likely be avoiding Aluasun hotels in the future

Well located hotel, tastefully renovated and comfortable rooms. On the other hand, we were there the last opening week of the season and the service was really poor! all week no cleaning done in the bathroom of the room apart from the bed made... dismantling of the entertainment facilities in the hotel... it would be good to wait for the tourists to leave for this kind of things: customers of the last week must have the same service (for the price!) as those of high summer... very correct all-inclusive buffet. Beautiful beach 5 minutes away.

Let's start with the things that anger...
We had booked a double room (one double bed) and we had a twin(2 separate beds)
Our air conditioner had trouble refreshing the room below 22/23° at night, despite a "full" setting 24 hours a day, I claimed every morning of the first week , response from the nice lady of the reception "the technician comes today", with a big smile; not seen during the 2 weeks of my stay... I finally gave up (we spent our days outside)
When my daughter came to join us with her husband and her two children, the bathroom of her room was flooded, a leak can happen, but proposing as a solution a double room in which we stick 2 beds is unacceptable; we had to get angry to have a commercial proposal worthy of the name, 2 communicating rooms, why not propose it immediately, and have solved the problem of air conditioning immediately and avoid a bad comment?I hate that they laugh at me...
Otherwise the hotel is well located, lots of shops nearby, beautiful beach 5 minutes (road to cross) the center with its port is 4 km, doable on foot by the beach or lake , nice walk if you like to walk, otherwise well served by buses.
the hotel , very clean, is not very large, lacks some room around the pool, the number of deckchairs in the shade is just right. I really enjoyed seeing the lifeguard remove the towels from the unoccupied deckchairs! The wi fi is a bit capricious,
The meals are good, lots of choices, we are sure to find a dish to his taste, very good breakfasts,
The staff at the restaurant and bar are really friendly, I never waited for my drink, it's quite rare in an "all inclusive"
The alcohols offered are of good quality, the black spot is for people who want a non-alcoholic drink, that industrial sodas, chemical fruit juices are undrinkable, (even at breakfast) pity it would be necessary to include 100% fruit juices, not complicated nor expensive
The rooms, not very spacious, very poorly soundproofed have a bathroom with walk-in shower, a small, balcony
Very good mention for animation, nice games in the day, good atmosphere, thanks to Daha, great multilingual animator,
The shows offered in the evening are very good levels
In summary, despite some bad points, we had a pleasant holiday in this hotel

This is the poorest hotel I've stayed in. Its supposed to be 4* but is a poor 3*. The food is mostly warm at best and a limited range of food aavailable. You have to rent a plastic glass for €1 which you get back at the end of your holiday. The bedroom has interconnected door so you can here every word said in the neighbours room, definitely no privacy. Bathroom has lots of mold in the shower area . One of the bedrooms electric socket is lose so you can't plug anything in as the socket comes loser. One plus is the beds are comfortable, so at least you get a good night's sleep apart from the bedroom door is not well fitted and the light from the corridor at night keeps the room to light, also because of that when people go to there rooms late it's very noisy. Staff are not friendly in general apart from the entertainment team who smile a lot and make you feel welcome. There was a mix up with our room on arrival , a couple were in bed in there when we arrived, they were shocked when we opened the door,so were we as it was the middle of the night. Reception staff gave us another room. The next morning I was quizzed by the reception manager as to why I said there was a couple in the bed in the room allocated. I said three times there was a couple in the bed she said 3 times there wasn't as they checked later that evening. She didn't believe me. Later my friend found the couple who were in our allocated room and asked them to confirm with reception I was telling the truth, which they did. Apparently their door card fitted our room which they believed was there room. Eventually I got an email apology. I certainly can not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. The reception, entertainment and restaurant staff are fantastic, all friendly, work hard and helpful.

The rooms are really small but beds are comfortable . There was a kettle in the room but no cups, milk, tea bags or coffee to enable you to use the kettle.

There are no English channels on the tv, mainly German channels. This wasn’t a problem for us though.

Bath towels are poor quality but changed regularly. Balcony floor was never swept and the floor under the beds was thick with dust but overall cleanliness was ok.

It’s clear the hotel is making an effort to try and improve the food. There is a separate salad bar and separate vegetable station that allows people to avoid food being contaminated by meat dishes. There is the odd gluten free dish but no ingredients are listed identifying potential allergens eg contains dairy or contains nuts etc. you will struggle if you have dietary requirements, there are two vegetarians and one vegan in our party. Meals consisted mostly of salad, bread and chips but this is consistent with majority all inclusive hotels in Mallorca.

Location of hotel is brilliant. Only a few minutes walk to beautiful playa de
Muro.

There is only one small pool at the hotel but it was never crowded and never difficult to get a sun bed , no matter what time of day you arrived at the pool.

We would definitely return to this hotel but maybe not go all inclusive.

Sea view rooms are over the pool and evening entertainment stage. This wasn’t a problem for us as entertainment finished at 23:00

Just got back from a 1wk holiday with this hotel. The hotel itself was amazing and sparkling clean.
My room was very clean & towels changed everyday and they were lovely and soft not like some reviews saying they were old and ruff mine were like new.
I was in room 219 facing the pool. I went half board, breakfast had lots of choice which was good but the only downfall was the evening meals choice was not very good I found the rice and certain things was overpowered with garlic or had to much creamy sauce on the meats and some didn’t look good to even try so sadly I hardly ate there in the evenings that’s my only complaint.
Entertainment was really good Spanish dancers/ acrobats etc.
There are safes in the rooms but you have to pay to use them but I was happy with that.
Your literally 5mins to the beach and it was beautiful with soft golden sand (Tip) when you reach beach go to your right water is so much clearer and not so crowded.
Buses are outside the hotel on other side of road beachside that takes you to lots of other places..so always somewhere to go and adventure out..port d’Alcudia is a must really beautiful place to visit and take photos!
There is a pool at hotel but never used it as I’m a beach girl so can’t comment on the day routine there but looked ok and clean.
The staff at reception was so lovely and very helpful always smiling and nothing was too much trouble.
When you sadly go home there is a shower room you can use and reception will give you towels.
I still think this hotel is a 4* after other reviews said it should be 3* they just need to change the dinners then it will be perfect.
Thank you for having me Aluasun Continental Park I really loved my stay with you.
