Eix Lagotel Holiday Resort is often celebrated for its picturesque setting near wetlands and beaches, with a free shuttle service to enhance guests' exploration. While the clean and spacious rooms are a hit, some visitors find the decor outdated and the noise levels from entertainment intrusive. The vibrant atmosphere, featuring music and games, is a double-edged sword, as it can detract from a peaceful rest.
The hotel is generally seen as offering good value, and while the amenities, including varied pools, are well-liked, the evening entertainment and food quality receive mixed feedback. The staff's service routinely earns high marks for their friendliness and efficiency.

Well what can I say first holiday at Lagotel and overall did not disappoint,we had the most amazing family holiday.
We arrived at 2pm,room was ready straight the way.I had previously emailed with a room request middle floor, pool view and we got exactly that(room 348) Yes it’s abit noisy, nothing major and wasn’t a problem to us as most nights we didn’t get back till 11.30pm,then at 12am all goes silent.
Pools excellent size, love the fact they don’t open gates till 10 and you can always get a bed no matter what time of the day.Our favourite was the Breezers across the road.Lovely and chilled. Can we just appreciate Manuel the life guard, never known a man like it,so attentive, always friendly and love how he goes round helping people who have mozzy bites with his magic potion.
Entertainment from the few shows we saw was amazing(Loved George Pena the comedian) we do like to venture out in the evenings so didn’t always stay in also loved the bingo and brilliant cash pots.Crepe stall was a hit too.
Rooms, plenty of room we was a family of 4,cleaners came every single day and the odd time we left out the do not disturb sign they kindly left clean towels on a bag outside the door.
The free shuttle bus to the beach is a GOD SEND and such a great idea.Used it most days when either going to the beach or the last bus down into Playa de Muro in the evening.
Mosquitos,I must say was dreading it but was no where near as bad as we thought it was going to be for us.i went fully prepared with Lemon original course shower gel, various sting and bite creams(anthisan a good one) germoline, piriton, sting pen,Avon skin so soft, citronella candle for the evenings and bucket loads of Jungle Formula,we had a handful of bites between us not causing us any problems.
Food was the only downside for us,mainly the evenings.I’m not fussy by no means but we have been to 3 star hotels where the food has been a hell of a lot better than here. And if you have a fussy child they are basically buggered. Snack bar was great in the day. Having said the above I don’t think it would put me off coming back, but personally think it could be better.
Staff are very friendly and always happy to Help
Playa De Muro beach is absolutely stunning. All in all a fabulous holiday with amazing weather the last 11 days.

I saw quite a few mixed reviews on this place and was a bit hesitant after booking, we even tried to change the hotel but it didn’t work out. I’m glad it didn’t as we had an amazing stay at this place! Staff were all so friendly especially Leslie at the reception. Upon arrival we got told that we had all gotten upgraded to an apartment each, this was a lovely surprise and I had also arranged cake and decorations for my husband’s birthday and they did an amazing job! Rooms were always tidy and clean, with a few peeling paint and bits but that didn’t really affect our stay. Heating/AC was amazing we had no issue at all. Shower pressure and temperature exceeded our expectations, normally showers at hotels are quite standard and low pressure but this was very spacious and we had no water issues during our stay. Every night there was kids disco and bingo but the evening entertainment was different, we only stayed for 3 nights and we had a mix of live music and a magic show which did not disappoint! Daytime entertainment ranged from darts, pool and shooting, not sure what else there was but this was what was on for the days we stayed. Sofia and Julia were amazing and really helped get me and my friends involved with all the activities, they brought great vibes and energy and we all really enjoyed going out of our comfort zone playing games with strangers. We also played mini golf for a small charge which was great fun. We did want to try the buggy’s aswell but unfortunately didn’t get a chance to. The food wasn’t of the greatest standard being Muslims as there was no halal options. Luckily we all eat fish but it seemed that they just had hake or tilapia and not much other options whereas the meat dishes were different everyday. Being in Majorca we weren’t expecting great food options so we can’t say we were disappointed, but I don’t think I could have stayed for a week as even around the area there aren’t any halal restaurants. The snack bars had a good variety, the calamari was great and the fries were always fresh. The ice cream was also amazing both at the snack bar and at the buffet. The supermarket on site was very handy and well stocked. We personally enjoyed getting kinder bueno ice creams everyday as an afternoon snack! Location otherwise was great, the beach is about a 10-15 minute walk with quite a few shops and a 24 hour park aswell. My only disappointment is that there are no actual massages at the hotel, we booked through love holidays and they advertised that there were massages included, I know this is something they are working on as the hotel themselves confirmed with me but as of now there are just ladies who offer massages at the beach. Love holidays also advertised sauna and jacuzzi being included for free however there is a small charge. Another downside is that there is not enough labels for food at all, some days there weren’t any labels so it was very much a guessing game or having to wait around until we could see a chef to ask. I definitely would recommend this hotel but personally I’m not sure if I would stay again until they do have massage facilities up and running as this would have really tied the holiday together.

Dear Miaaa29, Thank you for share your experienc. We are really pleased to know you and your friends have njoyed your stay with us. We appreicate your kind words especiialy to the staff. Rest assured I will pass your special mention to Leslie and to our entertainers, Sofia and Julia. Regarding the messages, as you said, we work with a company and they didn't start the season yet. This is something that it is out of our hands.Sorry. About the sauna and jacuzzi, in our web site it is specify that those activities are chargeable. All inclusive means drinks and food only. I will try to contact with them to double check that information. I hope you have done lots of lovely memories from your holidays. Kind regards. Guest service.

Fantastic holiday. We stayed half board and have no complaints with breakfast and dinner there was always something nice to eat. Room was clean and had a full sized fridge and air con. View from balcony not so good as overlooked houses so would have preferred a room overlooking the pool/entertainment area. No daily battle for sun beds, the area opens at 10am but no massive queues like most hotels, we always easily found beds, we also used the adult only pool which was lush and quiet. Evening entertainment was good and as we were half board we bought drinks and snacks (which were reasonably priced) from the on-site shop to have at our table. I would advise taking mosquito repellent as being near the lake there are a lot - we all got bitten loads! Transfer from and to the airport was about an hour. We arrived around 11:30pm and the staff provided a cold buffet for late arrivals which was a nice touch. Staff all very friendly and 24 hour reception. WiFi was good. Free shuttle to the beach every 30 minutes with lovely driver just a 10 minute drive. We couldn’t get a sunbed on the beach though as they were all reserved which was disappointing. There was a strong pungent smell outside the hotel in the evening but I think you get used to it throughout the stay. Would definitely stay again but prices next year seem to have risen a lot.

We stayed here as a family of four for a week in August and had a nice stay. The hotel is clean and well kept. Reception and entertainment staff are all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are perfectly functional and the bathroom is a good size- toilet roll replaced daily along with towels.
There is a shuttle bus that runs every half hour (with a break at lunch) which takes you into town. Playa Du Muro has a lovely beach and you can also catch a bus to Alcudia within 10mins from Playa Du Muro. Alcudia is definitely worth a visit if you are staying here and the bay is really beautiful.
The pool areas are a real selling point for the hotel and for the first half of our holiday we were always able to find a sun lounger around the main pool. The last half of the week we weren’t able to, but this was actually a blessing in disguise as it helped us to discover the ‘breezer pool’ which was located just across the road. The breezer pool is less busy and includes three lovely pools plus a snack bar. Our children had the best time here.
This is a great hotel if you enjoy entertainment as there is something on every night. Our room overlooked the entertainment area so our children were awake until gone midnight every night as even with the balcony door shut, it was very very loud. This had a knock on effect with us being able to get them up in the mornings to make the most of the day. If we were to stay here again we would book an apartment with a separate room to try and alleviate this issue.
We were booked in on the all inclusive package but did struggle to find food options in the evening due to two of us being vegetarian. We were disappointed with the food in general- including breakfast and the snack bar (we didn’t eat in the main restaurant at lunch). But the reception staff did help us to rectify this issue and were very helpful and understanding.
If you are eating out in Playa Du Muro or Alcudia, you need to budget around 100 euros for a dinner for 4. We tended to have a big breakfast in the hotel in the morning, skip lunch and then eat out in the evening but I would say most of the restaurants in the area are similar to London prices.
A lot of the activities in the hotel have an additional cost even if you are on the all inclusive. For example; the crepes (€7 for one crepe), the trampolines and the gaming room. Having said that, our children absolutely loved the gaming room and in particular the lady who ran it, Sarah, who was really warm and friendly.
There is a shop on site which sells items slightly cheaper than the Spar so you can get essentials without being ripped off.
You can borrow towels from the hotel for a refundable deposit which is helpful for saving on luggage space.
Overall we had a nice stay but next time wouldn’t book the all inclusive.

This hotel is bang average, and certainly not a 4*. We had a nice holiday but wouldn’t return here, which is unfortunate because the hotel has potential but was let down for multiple reasons.
I’ll start with the positives. The location is nice, just a short walk from the strip/seafront, and there is a free shuttle bus that runs regularly which is convenient. The adults only pool area is a god send with plenty of sunbeds and a lovely pool. The staff can’t be faulted – they are all so friendly, polite, and happy to help. The onsite supermarket is reasonably priced and handy, too.
The rooms, while a little dated, were comfortable enough and cleaned daily. I’d expect higher standards for a 4* as some of the furnishings and fixtures were shabby, and the aircon was quite temperamental too. The balconies are spacious but there is no privacy at all due to the layout of the hotel.
Unfortunately, there were a few things that disappointed us. We went Bed & Breakfast and the breakfast was not up to scratch. As vegetarians, we were limited to eggs and beans every day. Fine enough for sustenance but if you’re a foodie you’ll be left wanting. Fresh fruit, pastries, yoghurt, and cereals are provided but we found the fruit to be subpar and didn’t like that the yoghurt was served in huge, communal bowls. The same goes for the butter – I appreciate the hotel’s attempts to be more economical but little packets of butter and yoghurt pots would have been more appealing. Moreover, none of the food is labelled which is a nightmare for people with allergies and certain dietary requirements. Not at all acceptable in any hotel but certainly not a 4*. The juice served from the machines isn’t fresh (just diluted cordial) and the coffee wasn’t nice, either. I can’t speak on the lunch and dinner options but I’d always recommend opting for self catering or B&B as there are some lovely restaurants in the area.
Perhaps the single biggest issue we found at this hotel was the noise. It is constant. The open plan layout of the hotel means that there’s a dreadful echo and when you’re trying to sleep, you can hear everything out in the corridor and down to the lobby area. Every single night we were woken up by loud, inconsiderate drunks who have no idea how to behave in public. The morning staff weren’t particularly quiet either, so we were often disturbed by their chatter and whistling. If you have a room facing the outside entertainment area you’ll have the most sleepless holiday of your life – the entertainment finishes beyond 11pm and the bar closes at 1am meaning you’ve got loud music and even louder guests into the early hours. Bring earplugs! Luckily, the lovely manager allowed us to move rooms. Otherwise, we would have had a miserable stay.
All in all, if you’re looking for a cheap and cheerful holiday and don’t mind being surrounded by Brits who can’t behave themselves you’ll have a nice time. Again, I can’t fault the staff at all and want to thank them for being so brilliant.

Family of 4 with a 14yr old and 12yr old. Managed to upgrade to all inclusive on arrival, from half board.
Food was lovely, always hot and different themed nights. Desserts were always a bit 'samey' but always something for everyone. Pool bar has small selection of items to eat and is open 11-5pm. Bar is open most of day and has very generous measures but cocktails are only available after 7pm and are premixed.
Room was spacious and overlooked the entertainment/trampolines etc. Air con was great and plenty storage. Bathroom could have done with a refresh as wood on bottom of door was peeling but shower was very good and room cleaned daily.
Pool area was good with a pool you could walk into, getting deeper the further you go, and another pool which was very deep. Also an adult only and a salt water pool across the road but we didn't use these. The lifeguard, Manuel, is just brilliant. Constantly walking round, observing, clearing away empty cups and providing first aid if required. Our daughter had cut her arm (no fault of hotel) and scab had come off. Manuel saw she was bleeding and went for first aid box and cleaned her up. Pool towels are 10euro each which is refunded on return. Floats are allowed.
10min walk to playa du muro and you can catch a bus into alcudia (cost us 12 euros for 4 of us). We walked back, which took around an hour. Plenty of shops and restaurants en route. The beach is beautiful all the way along.
Entertainment in the evening consisted of mini disco, bingo and then an act (tribute bands, comedian, african acrobats and magician. All to a high standard. Some of the best we've seen at resorts. The team are brilliant and work hard. Various sports and mini club things throughout the day, including pool, darts, foam party, water volleyball, water slides, aqua aerobics etc.
All in all, a good hotel, lovely staff and nice food.

We wanted a cheap week in the sun and that’s kind of what we got. This place is a bit removed from Muro itself, but it’s only a 10min walk, or there is a bus from the hotel if you needed it. Theres not that much in Muro, I think I was expecting a bit more, not that many bars to go around on a night time, but plenty of restaurants. The beach is very pretty. If you’re looking for a bit of nightlife, you might want to consider somewhere more lively. On to the hotel. Needs a lick of paint on the outside, it doesn’t look like a 4* when you pull up, and there’s other 4*s in Muro that look a lot nicer. We only went B&B, think this was wise. Breakfast was a little uninspired, and people are right about labelling, this needs to be better, even for the people with no allergies. Breakfast did get quite chaotic towards the end of our stay, probably as the hotel filled up. Which is also where all the noise came from too probably. This hotel is noisy! Too noisy for me. Whether it’s people talking by the pool/ outside the bar at 2am (which really needs to be stopped for the sake of other in the hotel there to relax) or the cleaners gearing up chatting and rolling their trollies at 7am or people scrapping furniture or slamming doors at all hours. I slept like rubbish for the last few nights, so left the place exhausted! The pools are nice, especially the adults only one, this gave the place a touch of 4*, and we went everyday the sun was out. Pool is freezing, but nice after baking in the sun. The hotel bar lacks any kind of atmosphere really, which could be fixed easy enough with some better lighting. It’s like a school canteen. Room was basic but we had a balcony with drying facilities and the shower had plenty of power, which can usually be an issue in these bigger hotels. The safe in the room is key operated….code is much better, don’t fancy walking around like a jailer all holiday. The fridge in the room was great, full size, plenty of room for water and beers! All in all, not a great 4* hotel, but it was cheap, so can’t expect luxury for what we paid. I wouldnt go back to this hotel, not sure I’d go back to Muro because there wasn’t enough going on. But for a cheap week in the sun, it did the job.

Stayed in late August and we found the hotel to have everything that we needed. Mini market on site was very good and prices cheaper than local spar down the road. The pool area was clean and well maintained although the pool was very dirty some days. Sunbeds were never an issue although you need to be out early to get a bed that wasn't in the shade. We had breakfast included, it was OK much the same everyday but something for everyone. The beach is around a 15 minute walk or the hotel provide a free shuttle bus everyday except Saturday that runs every 30 minutes. Hotel staff were lovely, really helpful and friendly. Our apartment was cleaned everyday and fresh towels everyday. You can rent towels from reception for the pool for €10 which was helpful as we only had 10kg luggage. Pool tables and table tennis are on site. You can get the bats from reception for a €5 refundable deposit. Although the pool table were hard to get most evenings. The hotel should definitely add more tables. The guys in the bar were so friendly and it made our experience at the hotel in the evenings really enjoyable, especially Lucas. Overall we really enjoyed our stay but the mosquitos were terrible. We have been to many places but these were definitely the worst we have experienced. The hotel is close to a lake so this might have something to do with it. We travelled into Alcudia by taxi a few evenings for approx €13. Lovely family friendly area but found it difficult to find a pub with live music which was disappointing. Hotel entertainment was fairly good, Abba tribute act was the best for the week we stayed. Overall we had a good experience in Alcudia but next time would try to stay closer to the port area.

Me & the husband spent 10 nights at this hotel all inclusive. The hotel was in a ok location with only a 10/15 minute walk from the beach (or free shuttle but the driver was very wreckless!!) Whilst there we learnt from a couple who has been going for the past 17 years that they have only changed from a 3 star hotel to a 4 star hotel a few years ago after putting in an adults only pool. Without that pool it would still be a 3 star hotel at a push!
Food: The food was barely warm & there wasn't alot of choice at all. It was the worst hotel food we have ever been offered. The snack bar food is completely tasteless and quite frankly inedible! Even though we were all inclusive, we still had to pay for water?!?!
The cleaning staff didn't mop our bathroom floor the whole time we stayed. The shower walls, sink & mirror again not cleaned once throughout our stay.
Room: beds very uncomfortable & Squeaky. Everytime me or my husband moved the beds would squeak very loudly & we also heard our neighbours beds too!
The entertainment: the only good thing about the entertainment was the bingo but that only lasted 20 minutes.
Bar/waiters: in the evenings as you're watching the entertainment you have some waiters come round asking people if they want drinks etc. They always seemed much more interested in the guests who were self-catering, bed & breakfast or half-board. (All inclusive guests have black wrist bands on) so much so they would completely ignore me and my husband and we felt out of place & unwelcome there.
All in all, this hotel has to be the worst one me and my husband have visited, its such a shame. If it wasn't for the adults only pool we would of tried booking another hotel! Definitely will not be returning.

Dear Freedom03282831170, I'm sorry that our hotel didn't meet your expectations. I don't want to be argumentative but I just want to clarify one thing, our hotel become 4 star before we have had the adults only pool. There are more conditions than just a pool only for adults. In fact having a pool just for adults it is not a condition. We hope you can enjoy your next holidays abroad. Kind regards. Guest service.

We had a Late arrival and there was nothing to offer when we had travelled all day. The reception area was clean and tidy and staff were helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean and although we booked a long time in advance and requested a room overlooking the pool we ended up overlooking the carpark and bins. The housekeeping service was probably the best we have had as the room was cleaned thoroughly and towels changed everyday. The hotel offered a free shuttle service to and from the beach but unfortunately for us the bus broke down on our second day and the service was never reinstated while we stayed. We stayed bed and breakfast and on the whole it was ok. We also paid for an evening meal one night and were left feeling glad that we had not paid all inclusive. It was advertised as all you can eat but you had to pay for drinks separately and the selection of food on the night we ate there was very poor. The pool areas were again very clean. Due to there being 3 different pool areas (including an adults only pool) we never struggled to get sunbeds even when we didnt go to the pool till after dinner time a couple of days.
