We were so looking forward to the stay. Its a beautiful property and this would be our second stay after 8 years. Booked a 2 bed room villa for my family. First night the air conditioning was not working. At 11 am, the staff suggested to send some fan as the technician has left. At mid 30s temperature it was not an option. They suggested to change our room and the AC was not working there as well. Finally in the 4 the 4th room it was working. There was no apology from the management for the whole incident . We were told that we will get hotel credit for the incident which we never received at checkout. What we also learnt was the air conditioning issue is quite a normal plague in the property. In our 2nd villa, the coffee machine was not working in the morning before our flight and again there was no one to fix it. The property is showing its age with poor or no upkeep staff and the management lacks any empathy proactiveness or commitment to solve these issue . I am a gold member with marriott. I dread how they treat normal guests. I have never seen a marriott property where the manager was least concerned to at least apologise for an incident like this.…
I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. We are so happy we have found it when we were looking to book somewhere when visiting Disneyland Paris. We booked for three days only as that was our entrance package for the Park, however wished we had booked the hotel for longer to enjoy it more. We liked it so much we are thinking of going back next Easter. There is a mini market. The small homes are perfectly designed. The location is gorgeous. Kids loved it. My only recommendation to the management is that they really need to include vegan options in the restaurants menu, there wasn’t even one! The staff brought me boiled potatoes- only. The chef didn’t know what else to make! HOWEVER, this did not ruin our trip as we had our own kitchen but would be nice next time to enjoy the restaurant more. Can’t wait to come back.…
We chose this hotel for a few specific reasons, including its close proximity to Disneyland Paris, accessibility via train to the center of Paris, and because it had a spacious living area with two bedrooms. This hotel did not disappoint and was overall even better than what we had anticipated. Other reviewers had indicated that the hotel needed remodeling, but honestly, this location and its accommodations were fantastic. The marketplace was great for a morning latte, croissant, and other grocery needs (though not a vast selection), the bistro restaurant's food and drinks were very good and reasonably priced, the staff was courteous and helpful, the shuttle service (nominal fee) was convenient and took you directly to the Chessy Train station and Disneyland and the best part of the stay were the grounds with serene and beautiful countryside scenery. The train took about 45 minutes to arrive at the Eiffel Tower and an uber ride back in the evening was about $120 Euro and 40 minutes. The airport is also about 40-45 minutes to CDG. There are towns nearby you could walk to, which we did and enjoyed a nice dinner at Le Code Bar, and the food was amazing. I have only praise for this location and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Paris who doesn't mind a nice train journey into the city and staying in the French countryside.…
Super basic hotel. The rooms are old and not kept. Super dirty. We had spider webs and hair from previous guests. The room was full of aunts, when we let them know they didn’t even apologize. Nothing. The grounds are nice, a pool and a ping pong table and a super easy shuttle to Disney. If you care more about facilities and location than cleanings, this is the place for you. There is no breakfast restaurant on sight, only a market place.
Magnifique! We could not be happier with our stay at Marriott's Village d'Ile de France. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Jean-Pierre, Konstantine, Dragona, Cecilia, Reuben, and others always greated us with smiles and made our stay so enjoyable. The villas our amazing. Our quaint bedroom, two story unit was very spacious, comfortable, quiet, and private. The full kitchen enabled us to wine and dine casually in our unit. We also took advantage of the washer/dryer. Very relaxing with an open patio to a small pond. Conveniently located and a 10 minute walk to Bailly-Romainvilliers. Here we found a Carrefour Market for groceries. We looked forward to daily delicious baguettes and pastries from Boulangerie and Patisserie Laird. We also discovered the best and sweetest strawberries at La corbeille de fruits. Dinner at Bistonome was delicious. Also, Covid testing was available at Pharmacie du Golf. Best of all, we were only 15 minutes from Disneyland Park and the adjacent train station. The Marriott provides a shuttle for 3.9 euros per person. Local bus service for 2 euro got us everywhere else in the area. We will be coming back.…
I have stayed at this property two or three times before and enjoyed it once again. The villas and grounds are well kept and very comfortable. It is nice to have a kitchen and washer/dryer in the villa. The location is in close driving proximity to Disneyland and a wonderful shopping mall. The thing that really set this property apart for me this time, was the helpful front desk staff. When inquiring about antique shopping and the need for an extra suitcase and bubble wrap, the handsome front desk clerk went above and beyond to assist my sister and I. He recommended a shop with wonderful artwork that will always remind us of our dream trip to France. It is also nice that the hotel has a marketplace and restaurant on site, although the food at the restaurant is just mediocre. I recommend walking to the nearby patisserie to purchase your own pastries and desserts and stopping in at the market next door for any other grocery items you may need. The drive to CDG in the morning was maybe 40 minutes and quite pleasant. Overall, another good stay!…
We spent five days based at the Marriot. What a great hotel where you have excellent self-catering facilities. The drive from the hotel to Disneyland is about 10min and transfers can be arranged from the front desk. We used a 7 seater daily which cost us 19Euro each way. They can be contacted to collect from Disneyland too. The on-site shop is nice BUT very expensive. I took a walk daily to the Carrefour which is about 10-15min away and a nice walk. They have everything there and are very well priced. I will definitely recommend and use this hotel again even for a stay up to 14 days.
We stayed here for five nights with two kids. The villa was very comfortable and it was great having so much space with two young boys. The whole resort is very clean, well maintained and very pretty - like something out of a storybook. That being said, the interior of the villas could do with some updating as the decor is quite old fashioned and doesn’t seem to have changed since the resort opened. We used the shuttle service to Disneyland which was great (€3.90 per person return) but the resort really should consider having a later return shuttle. Currently the final bus leaves at 11.20 but if you want to stay to watch the evening fireworks, you probably won’t make it out of the park until around 11.40. We missed the last bus back and had to take a taxi (cost €20) but it was totally worth it to stay for the full show which was amazing! Dining options at the resort are very limited with the bistro currently only open for dinner. We had takeaway from the bistro one evening. It was quite good and was delivered to our villa within minutes. However, when we tried to order the next evening, we were told that they were extremely busy and the wait time was over 90 minutes. With two hungry young kids, this just wasn’t an option for us so my husband walked into the village nearby (5 min walk) and picked up pizzas from a lovely little bistro called Bistronôme. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and used the resort as our base for days out in Disneyland and Paris. We were very comfortable but a few small changes to the resort could really elevate the service to guests.…
We’ve stayed here many times, and this stay was as good as all the rest - the townhouses are brilliantly maintained and the location is still perfect for driving to Disney and surrounding attractions. Travelling during COVID made things slightly different with accessing the pool, but getting a separate key card was very straightforward once you’d shown your COVID pass. We also tried the takeaway this time around, and were pleasantly surprised. The food always arrived piping hot and very quickly, and we tried the pizzas, chicken burger and pasta which were all tasty (though the portions for the pasta were unexpectedly massive).
The resort is beautiful and feels like a country oasis away from Disneyland. The town house is great and had everything you could need. The sofas and arm chairs were very uncomfortable unfortunately. The resort is a little run down and in need of maintenance but there were signs that this was underway as the wooden pergola near the pool was being replaced as the wood had rotted. The pool was very cold but this did not put the children off. They do aqua aerobics in the afternoon which the children enjoyed dancing about in the pool. It was a massive shame that the restaurant was not open even just for outside dining given the covid situation. You definitely needed a car to get around as the shuttle bus was not running to Disney. Perhaps this will return in time? We had some lovely meals in the outside eating courtyard of valle de Europe I highly recommend checking that out. All in all we had a great holiday and I would stay again. …
