Detailed Reviews
I stayed here some time ago and had a great experience. The location is romantic, so is the room and the owner does a great job making you feel at home. She made breakfast in the morning right in front of us and it tasted great. She also had some great recommendations on what to see and where to go out for dinner.

What can be more beautiful than rolling hills of grapes, rustic, beautifully maintained guest rooms, sumptuous breakfasts, gracious hosts, and perfect weather? All of this explains our visit to Pilone Votivo in September 2013. I would return in a second, just to receive a hug from Marinella, the owner, and a cappuccino from Felix, who prepared our breakfast each day. If you want to perfect place to stay in northern Italy, run, don't walk, to make your reservations at Pilone Votivo!

Beautiful spot overlooking gently wooded valley. Comfortable quiet room with modern bath facilities and plenty of storage. Delicious breakfast with freshly made orange juice. Friendly welcome from owner and staff with excellent recommendations for food and wine. And even had Wi-Fi.

I stayed here in September 2013 and truly hope to return some day. Marinella, owner, is a true joy. She is very involved in all aspects of Pilone Votivo and makes sure everyone is comfortable, well fed every morning and that accomodations are delightful. I stayed in a room on the lower level with stone walls, beautiful furnishings, wooden shutters, elegant linens and it was a joy. Pilone Votivo is surrounded by vinyards, fruit trees, views out over the Longhe Valley to Mount Visa in the Alps. It's paradise.

Yes, that's redundant, but it's also accurate: Our group rented all four rooms for a week. Each room was beautifully redone and extremely comfortable, with gorgeous views. The bathrooms were large and well designed (ie no rivers running across the floor after a shower). Breakfasts were fresh, delicious, and different every day. The grounds beckon you to take in the sunset with a glass of wine in hand.
Though the location may seem remote, in fact it's perfectly positioned for day trips throughout the Piemonte region. The proprietress, Marinella, is extremely well connected and a native of the region, so she gives great advice on where to go and what to do. She's also very easy to work with when booking. I can't advise Pilone Votivo highly enough.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Such a quaint and beautiful place to stay in the Piedmonte area. The owner was so nice and friendly. We enjoyed talking to her and she was very helpful. The room was very pretty and had a larger shower area than normal (for Europe)
We loved the animals, mules, sheep, goat. Such a wonderful experience.

Our first stop in Italy was this beautiful agriturismo near Sinio in Piemonte. We were amazed by the facilities and the extrodinary views. Wonderful rooms, great breakfast and true hospitality. Looking forward to stay here again some day.

I found this agriturismo on one of the Italian websites. They had a really good website which is why I chose it. Also it had a good location--centrally located in the Piedmont wine region. We were so happy once we arrived. The properly was very nice and the rooms were great. Very tastefully done and clean. The service was great and we had a good breakfast every morning. If you do go here make sure you arrange for a tasting of their wines. Wow--really good and very big wines. No complaints about this place and we look forward to going back.
