What can I say. We were in Normandy for one week and were able to stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast/chateau Le Fleur. It was simply amazing. At arrival we were greeted by Anna and Philipp, straight away we were drinking coffee and a bottle of poire (pear cider) while they we telling us about there adventures building up the chateau. We immediately felt at home. The B&B was only open for 2 weeks yet it felt like Anna and Phillipp were doing it for years already, amazing service!

We stayed in the beautiful pink room, it was very grand, beautiful and very clean. The large room was renovated exquisitely, every detail was thought about just as the shower and toilet which were tucked away behind two panels as if they weren’t there.

Lastly the breakfast was just great, there was an extensive wide range of choices. Beautiful homemade jam, cake and musli and also amazing farm eggs, cheese, yogurt and fresh fruit! This stay at Le Fleur was the highlight of our trip in Normandy!

I would recommend Le Fleur, Anna and Phillipp to anyone and everyone and will definitely be back soon! Thank you very much for the amazing stay, good luck with the next renovation (of the next rooms).

We were lucky enough to spend 3 nights at Le Fleur recently. What a beautiful gem in the heart of the Normandy countryside. Everything about Le Fleur oozes understated style and elegance and the chateau has been tastefully restored by Anna and Philipp to the highest standard. Our room ( Blue room) was airy and comfortable with lovely touches such as fine quality tea and coffee and a vase of fresh flowers on the mantelpiece. The bed was one of the comfiest we have ever slept in!
Breakfast each morning was an absolute treat, served to us by the lovely Charley who was also a wealth of information about the local area/ restaurant recommendations etc. the breakfast salon is beautifully light and simply decorated making a perfect backdrop to the fresh pastries and cakes, fruit from the potager and home made preserves.
Our hosts were welcoming yet very discreet and Le Fleur is a wonderful testament to their hard work and sense of style.
Thank you Anna and Philipp, we will return!

This luxurious guest house set in an 18th century chateau is truly magical! Every part of it is beautiful, from the grounds to the guest rooms, and the setting is so picturesque. It's so tranquil and far from the hustle and bustle of city life, yet it's just a quick drive to the fantastic sites and charming seaside towns of upper Normandy.

The chateau itself looks like something from a design magazine, with wonderfully tall ceilings and gorgeous windows in every room, beautiful furnishings in the salon, and charming breakfast room tables decorated with fresh flowers. Breakfasts were amazing, featuring fresh fruits and breads, a daily scratch made cake, and eggs and coffee made to order. Dining in that lovely setting each morning was a true delight, and such a delicious start to the day!

Our room (the pink room) was immaculate, and had everything we could hope for. Opening the giant windows and looking out onto the forest-edged grounds, listening to the wind in the trees and the awesome chorus of birdsong was spectacular! The bed was extremely comfortable, and the chateau so quiet at night - I got the best night's sleep I can remember in a very long time. The room had a wonderful shower, complete with luxurious toiletries, and a cute powder room, both cleverly built into former cabinet spaces (but featuring those amazing chateau windows and therefore not cramped or dark at all). Just an amazingly beautiful and comfortable room overall.

We really enjoyed meeting the lovely owners, Anna and Philipp, and discussing their chateau renovation adventures. Their YouTube channel, "How to Renovate a Chateau (Without Killing Your Partner)" is a favorite of ours, so it was really fun to meet them in person. Highly, highly recommend booking a getaway here! Loved every minute of it! If you aren't convinced yet, check out their YouTube channel for some sneak peeks of this gorgeous place and the charming family who lives there!

Stayed at Le Fleur for one night a snowy Sunday in February.

The hosts are incredibly welcoming and the house is beautifully renovated and decorated with very nice common areas. Even though we visited at a time when restaurants were all closed, they were very helpful in helping us order a great meal for a good price from a local restaurant.
We also sampled some drinks and snacks from their own menu which was all highly enjoyable.

We stayed in The Green Room which we found very stylish and cozy. Great attention to detail!

Would highly recommend and would love to revisit.

The chateau is a beautiful building in beautiful surroundings. It was a great base for visiting the coast of Normandy. The breakfast was copious and very good quality. My only gripe was that our room was not serviced at all during our 3 night stay. For the price (€300 per night) I would expect the bed to be made and the room tidied at least. We were out all day every day and it would be nice to come back to a made bed. I don’t expect towels and sheets etc to be changed. The coffee tray with cups/cafetière should be cleaned/replenished.

Hello Mandy Thank you so much for your review and I'm happy you enjoyed the breakfast. We are a guest house and as such, we don't enter the rooms during your stay unless you ask us to. However, we are always happy to empty the bins, reset the coffee tray and change your towels on request. We most certainly forgot to tell you this at check-in and we're really sorry for this! I hope nevertheless to be able to welcome you in the future! Best regards, Anna and Philipp

A beautiful and quiet place. The owners are very kind. They cater their services to your needs (ask about your day, we got offered a drink upon arrival). The rooms are beautiful decorated and very clean. They serve a lovely breakfast.

An amazing place with an incredibly friendly couple as a host in a beautiful area of Normandy. We enjoyed the sourroundings with nice little towns and beach areas. The chateau has wonderful rooms with a lot of love for the detail and plenty of space. They offer a very tasty breakfast and also a delicious picnic basket with food from the region. Definitely a recommendation!

It was a perfect weekend in Normandy - mostly due to the superb hospitality of our hosts and their beautifully renovated chateau. Everything both inside and out was thoughtfully selected and you will certainly notice and appreciate all the special little touches. The rooms are quite large and comfortable. Breakfast felt like a celebration each morning. The garden and village are idyllic. The hosts simply glow with warmth and kindness (and astonishing talent!). I loved meeting this family and falling under the magical spell of Honfleur.

What a great beginning to our Normandy trip! A Château in the middle of a picturesque village not far away from Honfleur. Anne & Philippe were great hosts and made us feel at home. They told passionately about the renovations they were doing in the Château. We stayed in the Pink Room with a nice view of the garden. A spacious room with everything you need.
That evening, we enjoyed an Assiette Mixed on the terrace with delicious local cheeses and fine meats, topped of with homegrown vegetables and a great cider. We also really liked the breakfast with homemade jam, granola and cake, delicious bread, yoghurt and fruits. A place we'd certainly come back to. We're curious about how their project will evolve in the next few years. We wish them all the luck! See you next time!

There are many small chateaux like this in France, but what makes Le Fleur “exceptionnel” are the people who run it - Anna and Philipp, who are also the owners. After just one day, you already feel part of the family. We knew about Le Fleur from Anna & Philipp’s YouTube videos and decided to pay them a visit, now that the COVID restrictions have been eased in France. And we were not disappointed! The chateau has been beautifully renovated and carefully restored. We stayed in the “Blue Room”, which was spacious and very comfortable. We happily join all the previous positive comments, but also like to mention the large variety of beautiful old trees that adorn the 3-hectare garden/park surrounding the chateau. Le Fleur in Normandy is a must-see, must stay.

Hi there, yes you are correct. In fact I also had a browse yesterday to compare prices with next year and found the same result. This also was the case for this year, so I emailed Philip and Anna directly. They are very good at responding promptly. To be honest I much prefer this way of booking. Enjoy your celebration next year, you will love it:)
