Martha and Rolli are very friendly hosts.Thank you for wonderful days and breakfast together! And Rolli cooked our fresh cought fish! There werde always fruits, chocolate and fresh drinking water in the room, coffee and tea facilities, great ocean view and garden and the beach only 200 meters down the private road. Perfect service, clean and nice. Martha and Rolli were always there giving us good advice for our
daytrips. We hope we can come back.

The welcome started the minute we arrived with Martha sharing a drink with us and giving us lots of very useful information. The view from our room was outstanding looking over the whole of Doubtless Bay. For the next 3 days we were served an exceptional Swiss breakfast and joined by Roly and Martha for some excellent conversation and food. We left wishing our plans had included a longer stay with them. Thank you so much Martha & Rolf for making our stay so memorable.

It is indeed a home away from home.

My husband and I with my adult daughter thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at Carnavel. Even though the place is available for minimum of two nights these wonderful hosts, very kindly agreed to accommodate us only for one night as soon as they got to know my daughter had only 3 night stay in NZ..
I highly recommend this place as you feel home away from home. The hosts are so warm and friendly, and very helpful in providing all the necessary information.
Their hospitality is amazing.
The room and the en-suite was very clean and specious and all the necessities were there. The beds were very comfortable.
Their home made breakfast with home grown herbs and home made bread is something anyone would enjoy.
They spare some time to have breakfast with their guests and we thoroughly enjoyed listening to their great experiences which goes a long way back to Switzerland.
This quiet, beautiful place on top of the hill is a great place to relax and well kept lawns and their beautiful garden facing the sea is ideal for people who are into meditation, yoga or any other relaxation activities.
Thank you Martha & Roly once again, for your hospitality and accommodating us for a very cosy and comfortable stay which we will always carry in our memories.

Hard to know where to start. Maybe the moment we were welcomed by our gracious and charming hosts Martha and Roly. Then over a glass of chilled lager we all sat down on their patio taking in the second to none view of Cable Bay and for many miles beyond. Martha told us about all the many wonderful attractions for the area. Our room was immaculate, colourful and extremely comfortable, one which we were very happy to spend six nights in. From the bathroom we had access to a private area in the garden, with magnificent views and a picnic table. Roly with his Swiss flair provided us each day with a wonderfully varied and high quality breakfast. A further bonus was when Martha and Roly joined us as they apparently do with all their guests. Truly I cannot think of one negative thing to say about our amazing stay at Carneval View... Martha and Roly had thought of absolutely everything to make our stay perfect. Ten out of ten from us.

We enjoyed our stay in this nice bed&breakfast. The view is amazing and the owners are very friendly. We felt as we were at home. We definitely would recommend this place to other travellers in this area.

A magic view and very kind hosts. Rooms clean and spacious. The welcome drinks a bonus and a great breakfast to prepare you for your day of exploring the far North. The location give you an amazing view of the Far North.
