In Kata Bay, the Club Med Village on the island of Phuket stretches out under palm trees caressed by the breeze. Bungalows, built in the style of the local "long-houses" and decorated with teak, silk and marble, exude a Zen spirit in this idyllic garden where you can practice yoga beneath the frangipani trees. A warm and clear sea opens up its underwater depths, filled with colorful fish and abundant flora. Adults and children alike can find tranquility and discover the Thai culture.

Nestled in a coveted location, Club Med Phuket garners praise for its proximity to the beach and local attractions. The hotel's cleanliness and renovated rooms are commended by many guests, though opinions on value diverge with some deeming it costly. The range of activities and all-inclusive dining options, along with a family-friendly atmosphere, contribute to the hotel's charm. Service at the resort is often described as attentive and heartfelt, adding to the dynamic and welcoming environment that guests enjoy. However, there are occasional remarks about rooms that could benefit from further updates.

Like in 2023, my family and I have spent the New Year holidays in Club Med Phuket. The main activity was to participate in the countdown party, but I was very thrilled to be able to spend a fantastic time with fireworks and lanterns going up.
There was a slight change in the atmosphere of the event due to the change of the village chief last fall, but I think this is also because the atmosphere of the resort at that time changes depending on the village chief's management policy at Club Med Aru Aru. You’ll mature year by year with GO and other staff around you to create a better atmosphere.
This time we stayed in a new connecting room that had been renovated. It was a long way from the centre of the resort, but the new room was still nice. The sashes of the rooms were properly locked without any problems (the last room I stayed in did not hold the keys to the balcony doors). But after every cleaning of the room, mosquitoes would come in. I brought a battery-powered mosquito repellent from Japan, so I didn't get bitten by mosquitoes.
We were very indebted to Remi and Mao, Japanese GOs during our stay. These are the only two Japanese GOs at the moment, but they are different in that they are able to offer advice in Japanese when they are in trouble.
ALI, a yoga instructor on a sports team, taught me yoga at Club Med Bali in 2022 and I was very happy to see her again.
This time, we had a lot of fun with the sports team GOs getting along.
When I was allowed to participate in a Thai cooking class, I was able to make delicious tom yum kung with careful guidance from a LIT.
Being able to interact with so many GO people every time is one of the fun things about going to Club Med, so I was happy to achieve my goal again.
I also enjoyed the three meals I am looking forward to every time. I will have to diet after I return to Japan because I eat a lot that I don't eat in my daily life in Japan.
I am determined to continue my daily life in Japan with the goal of spending the next year-end and New Year at some Club Med resort and will do my best this year.

First time at Club Med and didn’t know what to expect. It was initially a shock to the system after coming from Naka Island Resort, but after 24 hours we settled in and once our friends arrived it was even better.

The hotel is great for groups and for families with young kids and teenagers. Lots of activities to keep them busy with kids clubs ranging from rock climbing, golf, tennis, trapeze, foam party and lots more.

The food options are great for family as it is all inclusive. The house sparkling was great and did its job. Didn’t like the house wine but there was a very helpful sommelier that gave us a few tips during the wine tasting session. We ended up buying a few bottles of good French wine. Thank you for the tips.

The beach is located right across from the beach and across the road from shops and markets.

The staff were all friendly helpful and the parties were fun. I finally got into it after a few nights at the white party!

Personally loved the Zen bar (it was truly Zen) and shooting hoops.

Only negative was the room. It was too small and felt a bit dark (lack of natural light) and the kids bed might of had bed bugs. Note the cleaners did clean the room well, but unfortunately the kids bed did have a bug.

It’s best to go to club med with a group of people and make sure you get a bigger room - 5 nights minimum to truely enjoy the atmosphere and club med culture.

A first in a med club in Asia and totally won over by the Phuket CM and his formidable GO team!! The site, even if it is right in the city, is very beautiful. The beach is public and you have to cross a small street to access it but everything is well organized to make us cross safely. There is no clubmed deckchair but it is possible to rent it for 100 Baths. Finally it was not disturbing and we never tired of admiring the sea view from the bar and the pool. Max is an excellent village chief and has a golden team.... Go see them, they will make you have a dream stay and you will discover a beautiful country very endearing. Some GOs who have particularly spoiled us: Bacary, Majd, Alpha and Aurelien, you are toppp really, thank you for your presence and our shared aperitifs and meals, we miss you already!! Sliman, a great professional, Ali in future cdv, the sweet Cream with whom we shared a nice excursion to Koh Phi Phi, Sand and Gede for snorkeling. The team at the bar is super pro with Ahmet, Sarah and so many others, the cocktails are delicious and they pre-empt your desires... what a service! And what about the food ... the choice, the quality, it was as good as beautiful. In short, we hope to return.

Wonderful place from location to service. We liked everything. I traveled during the New Year holidays with my 10-year-old son. I chose ClubMed because I was already familiar with the hotel concept. In addition, this was our first time in Thailand and we didn’t want to experiment with food on the street, so we decided to go all-inclusive. I had no doubt about the high level of Club Med’s nutrition and the presence of Europeanized cuisine and was right - a plentiful amount of seafood from shrimp to crabs, Japanese, Chinese, European cuisine, and of course a sea of wonderful local fruits. For Orthodox Christmas they even treated us to Olivier salad. The rooms are in good condition, cleaned daily, the area is beautiful, green, well organized, the rooms are scattered so that no one disturbs anyone, a magnificent quiet swimming pool for adults, you can have a full breakfast/lunch/dinner at any time in the restaurant. A wonderful sandy beach (although shared) borders the hotel. The water temperature and entrance are ideal, but the biting salps make it difficult to relax, so we didn’t spend much time at sea.
I won’t say anything about the kids club, since my son didn’t get out of the pool and the water temperature allowed it, but I know that traditionally for ClubMed, the activities were varied, from snorkeling and archery to Thai boxing and trapeze jumping.
I didn't see any flaws. The holiday was great.
Of course, I especially want to mention the staff. A very involved team gave me the feeling of my student years - when everyone communicates with everyone, no one sits in their houses, open communication, a common get-together. A special THANK YOU for this!
Dilya, Hello Apple, I think this is not our last meeting!!!

My first time in Phuket.
There were no particular problems with transportation and immigration, but for the first time, only one of the four flights was a codeshare with a low-cost carrier.
I felt that a full-service airline was better.
I thought it would be hot, but the humidity and temperature were high and it was almost like midsummer in Japan.
This time, I didn't go into the sea or do any sightseeing, but I did some shopping within walking distance, had massages, and spent my time doing squash, archery, aqua gym, yoga, and muscle training.
As a result, I had to change clothes a lot and did a lot of laundry, which was a lot of work.
Phuket is located between the city and the beach, so you can explore various places right in front of you.
There are two spas right in front of the hotel, Oriental Massage and Pearl Massage.
I got a Thai massage at both, and the prices start from 300 for 60 minutes at Oriental and 350 for Pearl (TBT).
Oriental has a lot of detailed menus and is a little cheaper. However, the rooms are old.
Pearl is a little expensive and has a limited menu, but the rooms are clean.
You can exchange money right in front of the shop, and the exchange rate is better than at the airport, so I recommend exchanging money here.
You can negotiate the price for some clothes and souvenirs at some shops. If you use simple Thai, they will respond well.
You'll have to walk quite a bit, but there is a supermarket, so you can buy large amounts of food souvenirs there.

GO, who helped us this time.
Hiroko and her husband Eric, who are in charge of Japanese people, were very helpful.
We exchanged LINE accounts before leaving and all communication was done through LINE.
I got all the local information from Hiroko.
I was often with Haley, a Canadian woman who does dance fitness and weight training, so we became very close. She is also a great dancer.
Yoga was done by Jet, a Thai woman. She has also performed in shows and is very friendly.
At the bar, Tataa was very kind to us.
Zen, the Senegalese archer, was very friendly and a good dancer.
Sirinthip (who I couldn't pronounce) at the restaurant taught me a little Thai.
I also said hello to many other Gos, and they were all very friendly.

Spent a 5 day vacation at Club Med Phuket together with my husband and my 17 yo son. It's been more than 20 years since our last visit and I vividly remember Club Med Phuket has the best buffet spread among the other Club Med resorts we have visited in the Asia Pacific region. This time round we are not disappointed, the lunch and dinner spread is still as good and I love the variety of desserts available. And I must not forget to mention I love the thai food spread! I just wished the kitchen could have prepared some sticky rice and coconut milk to go with the beautiful mangoes at the fruit counter! What a waste.... As for the Chuda Restaurant, I'm quite disappointed with the menu and the choices available. Let's just say I would just stick to the main restaurant.

The room we had was newly renovated so it's clean, spacious and nice. Nice scented toiletries ie. shampoo, hair conditioner, body wash and body lotion, and toothbrushes were also provided. The only complaint I have is the drainage system in the shower room was not working well. By the 4th night, the water wasn't draining fast enough and the whole shower area was flooded.

There's a 15% discount voucher for services at the spa so me and my son each had a nice 80mins massage. The service and ambiance were impeccable and I simply loved the tea they served before and after the massage! Highly recommended! Two thumbs up!

There are many activities lined up but lazing around the pool with endless mocktails, cocktails, and nice midday snacks is already tempting enough not to do anything. I love the fact that there are many deck chairs and nice cushioned outdoor daybeds available and we could just hang out at the pool the whole day enjoying the sun and the sound of the waves from the beach. There were also special activities at the pool like the foam party, and the slide and splash the G.O.s made an effort to put up. Wanna give a special shoutout to Zen, G.O. at the archery, for making archery sessions sooo much fun! Zen always kept safety in check, was very organized, and was very encouraging and helpful we enjoyed the sessions so much so that we had to go for one last session of archery before we departed the village! Thanks a ton, Zen!

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay though there were minor hiccups here and there, and we loved the food, still. We appreciate the G.O.s for putting up all the amazing shows and fun games and also the housekeeping staff and the restaurant staff for keeping the whole village clean and safe for us all. Club Med Phuket, is truly a great holiday location for families!

I visited for the first time last year during Golden Week, and was impressed by KATA Beach, which is said to have the clearest water in Phuket, the sounds of wild birds, the all-inclusive food and drink, and the hospitality of the G.O.s, so I visited again this year.

Because it is all-inclusive, you can enjoy as much alcohol and food as you want. There is a wide variety of alcohol, and it is really great that a different signature cocktail is served every day. Of course, the food menu includes Thai food, so you can enjoy authentic flavors. There is also a wide selection of children's menus, so both adults and children should be really satisfied.

Another great advantage of this hotel is that you can drink, eat, play in the pool, and play in the sea that spreads out in front of you.

There are also amenities in the guest rooms, but you may want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. Water and towels can be brought to you at any time through the app, and if you are not good at operating the app, you can ask the G.O. directly.

By the way, there is a Japanese G.O. Hiroko at this hotel, and she was really helpful. She was very kind and cheerful, and explained things carefully, so I don't think you have to worry even if you don't speak English.

The hotel has WIFI both inside and outside. Just to be safe, I bought a 1GB eSIM, but it was enough for my 6-day stay and to use maps and LINE outside the hotel.

No matter how many times I come to this hotel, I am very satisfied. There were many Europeans at the hotel during my stay. I was able to forget about Japan and make extraordinary memories.

Recommended for those who love alcohol and food, or those who want to have fun with adults for the first time in a while. (I thought it would be a good memory to leave my children with G.O. and communicate with children from various countries in a program for children.)

And thanks to G.O. Hiroko and Eric, I was able to spend my time there with peace of mind. I want to visit the Med again to see you two. Thank you very much.

Just returned from a wonderful holiday at Club Med Phuket and would like to extend my gratitude to the amazing staff while sharing some thoughts and tips for future guests.

The staff at Club Med Phuket are incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. Walking around the resort, you’re greeted with warm smiles and kind words. A special thanks to Tuk Tuk from The Mamuang, Ing and Rikya at the front desk, Nadia and Max at the main bar, and Patrick from the mini club—your efforts made this holiday truly unforgettable for me and my family.

Here are some insights from our stay that might be helpful for future guests:
1. Location: The resort is situated at Kata Beach, which is over an hour’s drive from the airport, downtown, and major shopping centers. Traffic in Phuket can be heavy, so make sure to plan your travel time accordingly.
2. Beach: The resort does not have a private beach, so be mindful of which umbrellas and lounge chairs you use. Non-resort facilities will charge a fee.
3. Dining: While the restaurant uses common ingredients, everything is fresh and prepared with great care—you can feel the chefs’ dedication in every dish.
4. Service: The restaurant staff provide thoughtful and attentive service. We only had the chance to dine at The Mamuang this time, but we’re looking forward to trying the highly praised The Chu Da on our next visit.
5. Efficiency: While the staff are passionate and hardworking, handling a large number of guests with diverse needs can slow down service at times. Please be patient and offer them a supportive smile—they’re doing their best to make your experience special.

Wishing everyone visiting Club Med Phuket an unforgettable holiday!

Great hotel, went with my wife, booked a tour with transfers. I met Dario at the entrance, the attached manager, connected the Wi-Fi to our phones, escorted us to the room. Suite is large enough, two toilets, bathroom, shower, dressing room, living room, bedroom. The sea is nearby, bathed mostly in the morning until breakfast and in the evening. Despite the abundance of holidaymakers in the hotel everyone somehow disperses in the territory. The loaf is practically 24 hours a day, about ZOZO it is best to forget: foie gras, oysters, meats different, fish, good wines. I got two massages at the hotel - not cheap, but very high quality. Opposite the hotel is a taxi stand, you can go shopping, but there are good shops on site if you look. But in general the price tag is Moscow, there is nothing to bring, but there is no taste and color of a comrade, as the Russian proverb says. By the way, there are many Russians in the hotel, and outside so generally one Russian speech), but it does not affect the quality of leisure.)). Rooms have to be cleared at 10:00, but we had a plane at 11:00, we were allowed to stay in a room until 7:00, thanks to Dario. The staff are all very friendly in general, always help if you need to know anything. Great hotel. Thank you very much to all the staff.

Kindness, this now obsolete word, is the best qualifier to describe the extraordinary atmosphere that Village Chief Vincent has instilled in his entire team.
In mid-November, normally the rainy season, we did not see a single drop of water; only happiness.
From the outset Hans, Hiroko and Genesis welcome us and take us to a splendid, completely renovated room with a sea view. Then we meet Mustapha, Charlotte and Adan who prepare us a welcome cocktail with tropical flavors. 3 glasses later hunger arrived...
There, in the main restaurant Ahmed, Pascal and Asch prepared delicious, very varied dishes for us (lunch and dinner) with exemplary service and cleanliness. 10 days later and 3 kilos heavier I can say that the menus offered every day have never been the same but have all been delicious. A little sport didn't hurt our digestion. The trapeze with Caro, the snorkeling team will take you by boat to discover superb spots and golf with Zi, a sacred South Af. Eric gave us very good advice on excursions. If I had come with my children, what pleasure I would have had leaving them at the mini club with Jupe and Lucy who are really adorable.
The spa team was very welcoming and very professional. Raja at the store advised us with a lot of patience and taste.
What more can be said. A saxophonist and a magician who set the slopes on fire. We leave this magical place with tears in our eyes and heads full of memories, promising ourselves to return quickly. Thank you a thousand times to Vincent and his entire team for giving us a wonderful vacation.
