Ideally located in a tranquil yet central spot in Karon Beach. This intriguing Sino-Portuguese style design resort evokes memories of 19th century Southeast Asia and was built as a replica of the architecture that still remains in the old sections of the capital Phuket Town. Rooms are split between the modern Serene Wing and the traditional Sino Wing. Perfect for singles, couples and families alike.

This was our third visit to The Old Phuket after a 5 year gap. We upgraded to the swim up room in the Serene Wing prior to arrival and it was lovely to have pool access straight from the room. House Keeping were very good and the rooms are spacious and clean. The only negative

Upon arrival at the Old Phuket on our first night in Thailand we were told that a burst water pipe meant that our room was out of action so we'd have to be moved to a different hotel. I'm unsure if this was actually the case - we suspected that they'd perhaps overbooked the

Many thanks for taking time to add a review of your stay at The Old Phuket. We do apologise for the inconvenience caused by the last-minute room maintenance problem, that meant you had to move to another hotel. Unfortunately, as it's the high season here in Phuket, we simply did not have another room available to offer. This would have certainly been the preferred option for all concerned. We had hoped that the alternative hotel provided on the 1st night, the room upgrade to the Serene Wing and meal vouchers would help to compensate the frustrating room issue on arrival. Regarding the meal voucher that was not used, this was only valid for the duration of your stay but I am sure we would have accepted this (as a special case) if given prior warning in advance. Apologies here but the restaurant team needed authority from the management team to accept this outside of the terms shown on the voucher. Please do come back and try us again, as we really want you to have happy memories of The Old Phuket. Hope to see you in Phuket soon. The Management

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights in the Sino wing. It was lovely and clean, spacious rooms and bathrooms (towels could do with being replaced). The linen was crisp and clean, although the mattress is extremely hard. We found the staff very pleasant and helpful. The

Many thanks for taking time to add a review of your stay at The Old Phuket. We certainly take note on your valuable comments on the towels and tea/ coffee refill. Guest rooms are serviced daily to ensure everything is clean and tidy. Apologies if our team did not show you the 'do not disturb' sign provided in the room on check in. We do hope that didn't spoil your stay with us. Looking forward to welcoming back in the very near future.

You need to know if going here from England you arrive at 8am and they do not let you check in until 2pm. The receptionist who was on duty was really rude and unhelpful. The concierge was the only person to assist us by giving us towels and showing us where the pool was so we

Thanks for taking the time to review your stay and we are sorry that we could not accommodate an early check in. Normal check in time is 2 pm and if you wanted to check in earlier you should have advised your agent or booked an extra night to your duration of stay. February is the high season in Phuket and we need to wait for those checking out at 12 pm to depart, followed by cleaning the rooms ready for the new arrivals. This check in time is the standard practice for most hotels in Phuket. If the room allocated was vacant and clean, then we would have most certainly allowed you to check in earlier than officially agreed. We are disappointed that we scored so low in your overall review of The Old Phuket for something that we did not actually do wrong.

We stayed for 2weeks .little too long as I was a bit bored . We had a swim up room in the “Serene Wing “ Don’t let the name fool you as it’s fairly noisy and lots of children . The restriction on the swimming times were a bit annoying as I like to go for an early morning swim

Hi. Karon Beach is the next beach from Patong where there is a shopping mall called Jungceylon with cinema and ten pin bowling. Karon area is a calmer location but close to the action.

My apologies 10/3/19.
I would suggest emailing the hotel directly. We were transferring from another part of Thailand so arrived at the allocated check in time of 2pm but had seen other people waiting for their rooms to become available.
