Being our first visit to goa, we had no clue about the functioning of the city Both of us being doctors, are not tech-savvy and had booked everything in a random hap-hazard way. It was our great luck that we chose Dio's guest house for our three day trip. The place is close by to utorda beach and sits in a calm and blissfully quite niche well away from the hassles of the main Town. The place is very well maintained and everything was spic and span. We couldn't have asked for anything more. The team of Duo's welcomed us with much etiquette and we warmed up to them quite fast. They were very helpful in small things like booking cabs, giving small change, making sure we were treated very well I try to think of any minuses to give in the review, but there doesn't seem to be anything. Everything was comfortable especially the rest-rooms. The water was steaming hot and the house was free of clutter. Its more than a house and the team of women there see to it that Dio's is a home away from home Dio's is definitely our recommendation to all our friends as its a very decent place with a wonderful team to cater to us. Keep up the good work. Rock on guys.....

I had read that South India was well known for its hospitality and I really felt it here. The proprietors are such welcoming and kind people. They were very helpful in arranging transportation, activities and answering any questions about the area. They had many stories to share and were great conversationalists. I was traveling alone over the holidays and they both took great care to make me feel invited and welcome. They showed me around, took me to see a variety of holiday displays and allowed me to share in the festivities as well as introducing me to some delicious holiday sweets. I really appreciated being included, it was such a great experience. The hotel itself is on a quiet street with many trees, each room has its own private balcony. My balcony had a view of the wooded area behind the hotel and made for a nice relaxing place to sit. There is a restaurant next door and there are many more along the beach. The gorgeous, sandy beach complete with water sports and cafés/bars is nearby. This is a really nice place to stay in South Goa.

I stayed in Dio`s Guest House with my two kids for 10 days and it was our first trip to Goa.The guest house was just built, so it is new and clean, very pleasant look from outside. In our room we had AC and ventilation, a TV, comfortable bed, hot water. The room also included kitchen with a fridge, cooking facilities and utensiles, which is very important for me, as I could cook some food for kids like at home. Excellent location - Its so beautiful around the guest house. Mango trees, cashew trees, lots of greenery and birds. We could enjoy the view as we had two balconies both sides. The days we didn`t have excursion we run to the white sanded Utorda beach. We liked it more than other beaches, its clean and quiet, no crowd. And only 10-15 minutes walking. The shops are close by and a lot of restaurants near the guest house. Night time we could feel safe as the security was there every night. I want to say special thanks to the owner, Dio. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. He helped me when my elder daughter got sick. He took care of our every need, joking with the kids and made them smiling. Thank you, Dio, your profesional attitude made our vacation so memorable! We will definitely return to Dio`s Guest House with the family and I will recommend it to all my friends. As the price was affordable and its really worth for the money.
