We dined in the hotel restaurant where both the food and service were good.

There is a money exchange about five minutes away from the hotel its situated on the main street, would not advice you to charnge at the hotel there exchange rate was quite low when we stayed there.

It depends how far you want to walk, but there is a regular bus nearby to take you back and forth to Split,dropping you off at the market in the centre of town.
