Detailed Reviews
I visited Coombe Farm,,Hawkesbury Upton, Badminton with friends whilst walking the Cotswolds Way. We were made very welcome. Coombe Farm is special ' far from the maddening crowd' and the views were breathtaking. We found the proprietor very friendly A great place to unwind after walking several miles in wet conditions. We enjoyed a well earned rest in comfortable beds and enjoyed a good English breakfast. The Cotswolds Way is my favourite long distance walk.

This is a absolute great place to stay!
The rooms were very nicely done, the beds comfortable and the shower/toilet clean and good.
After a day walking the Cotswold Way this is very welcoming and beautiful place to stay and just a hundred meters of the trail. Especially when you get some snow over night like we did, the place and area around is really beautiful and peaceful.
The host was very friendly and we got a delicious full English and continental breakfast.
There are pubs nearby for a good dinner.
Would totally recommend this B&B to all walkers and anybody else wanting to escape for a cosy weekend :)

Simple and homely accommodation, as one would expect on a country farm...- but with a five star breakfast which genial Mrs Cole prepares for us at whatever time we ask for (we tell her the evening before...).
We love coming here and do so regularly on our way from Heathrow to Cornwall.

Room was comfortable, Audrey was an excellent hostess who provided good local advice re places to eat, and a very warm welcome. Good breakfast in the main farmhouse. Can recommend Beaufort Arms to eat.

We overnighted at Coombe Farm on our Cotswold Way walk, which has four relatively modern rooms in a converted ox barn. The location is convenient for walkers, just a few minutes from the trail and about a ten-minute walk to the village’s two restaurants. Our room had two twin beds and a small, clean bathroom with a shower. The room was quiet. One of our mattresses was quite lumpy, and I needed to sleep atop the duvet to sleep comfortably. Mrs. Coombe is extremely friendly and served us breakfast to order in her dining room. If we ever return to Hawkesbury Upton, we would stay here again. There is no Wi-Fi.

Coombe Farm offers good, honest, old-fashioned B&B, with a warm welcome. Our visit was part of a Cotswold Way walking trip and, on arrival, we were immediately made to feel at home by our genial hostess. The clean, comfortable rooms are just across from the farmhouse and have a small courtyard area outside, which was a lovely suntrap in the late afternoon. We enjoyed a short walk into the village for dinner at the Beaufort Arms, an excellent real ale pub where we also received a warm welcome. After a peaceful, comfortable night's sleep, breakfast in the farmhouse was made to order and just the job to set us up for another day on the trail. What more could a couple of weary walkers want?

Our room as was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was tasty and cooked individually, so very fresh. The owner is a lovely, friendly lady. The village centre is a short stroll either alobg the lane or across the fields.

A delightful place to stay as part of the the Cotswold Way walk.
Charming and very friendly welcome. The accommodation was first class. Large and self contained. Just what we wanted so we could spread out.
Breakfast was excellent.
Cannot recommend more highly.

Having been walking the Cotswolds Way with a friend, I became unwell. The hostess went far above and beyond what could be expected from a B&B owner and, for me, was little short of an angel. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity of spirit, it won't be forgotten.

Idyllic location but very difficult to find. No directions given. I went to check in around 2 pm prior to going to a wedding. A notice on the front door directed guests to the back door. A note on the back door said guest accommodation was across the drive - breakfast at 8 am - look forward to seeing you in the morning. The accommodation presented as a holiday let with a fully equipped kitchen. The good sized bedroom had a folded down gate leg table and two tired chairs that were definitely not dining chairs. Quite clean with reasonable bed. Furniture and bedding very random and unco-ordinated and all a little tired. Small tv on very low table needs to be wall-mounted. I didn't appreciate getting up for 8am breakfast after a late night at wedding celebration. Definitely need choice and flexibility with breakfast times. Hostess welcoming and breakfast (already cooked when I arrived promptly) good.
