Really enjoyed our stay. I was a little concerned when I had heard that the hotel had changed hands but I was pleased with the service and rooms. Nice setting but could do with improved signage as we got a little lost

We arrived fairly late to the hotel, around 8:30/9ish as we had driven down from Cheshire and the traffic was bad, we were staying at Meon Valley as a stop over as we were heading to the Isle of Wight early the next day.

I'm more Hilton than Marriott but wouldn't expect any such deliberate action - and the episode certainly doesn't seem to have had an adverse effect...
