We arrived by ferry after a very choppy crossing from Paros. Great location just across from the ferry terminal. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating especially as we arrived on an earlier ferry due to bad weather but we relaxed by the pool with a beer until our room was ready.

Breakfast was good with a variety of hot and cold food. Our room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the sea and an even larger balcony at the side. I cant speak for the other rooms but ours was very tired looking especially the bathroom. The bed is perched on a ledge, which you have to access up a step which we found to be sharp and troublesome especially at night as you had to get down 2 steps to use the bathroom. Around that ledge they have lights which are poorly wired. I was always fearful of falling especially after having my 2nd hip repl 9 weeks previously. I'm sure had we addressed this issue with the management they would have changed our room. This was our 4th hotel after a busy 2weeks holiday and we didn't fancy packing and unpacking again !

The hotel grounds are well kept with lovely palm trees and shrubs, rooms are laid out in separate blocks. Although it is on a busy road we didn't hear much traffic noise at night, that came mainly from the wind!

Needless to say there were some amazing sunsets and it kept us occupied for ages just watching the ferries and cruise ships come and go.
Just across the road is the bus stop and a short walk to the marina to get the sea bus to Mykonos Town.
There is a lovely pool there but this was the last couple of days of our holiday so we spent the days out and about visiting sites around the town and an afternoon trip to Delos island and island bus trip to Elia. Buses to other parts of the island run nearby, you can get there by using the sea bus
There are a couple of restaurants near the hotel. Mathios a lovely traditional Greek Taverna, turn right out of the hotel, also immediate right are 2 small supermarkets selling a variety of things and a small cafe / takeaway where we had an great meal. In all a good location if you want to spend a couple of days looking around Mykonos and surrounding areas especially with its close proximity to the Port.

This might be a little lengthy but I want it to be as accurate as possible.

My wife and I visited Mykonos for the first time and were fortunate enough to be staying at the Olia in Tourlos, which it's right by the "new port". When we checked in we had a little sit down with the owner who gave us details about the property, what was nearby, and he showed us a map of the island. He detailed where certain things were (such as the beaches, the old town, and different attractions).

The hotel itself is small (30 rooms I believe) and is very pleasant to the eye. Our room was a standard room - it had a high ceiling, was nicely decorated, and just felt very Greek. The grounds are brilliant and clean, and it was very quiet through the day and in the evening. The pool area is gorgeous, I think I counted either 16 or 18 sunbeds and they are quite comfortable. There's a bar area right nearby that during the day was manned by a young man named Dimitri who was so friendly and kind. The woman in the evenings was also extremely nice and helpful but we didn't get her name. All the staff was top notch.

To walk into Mykonos town is a little bit treacherous. We did it 3 times but there isn't a footpath - you're basically walking on the side of a 2 lane road and there's not really room for it. Luckily the drivers were all aware and knew to watch for the tourists but I wouldn't recommend doing it at night as there aren't any lights so it wouldn't be wise. There's a sea bus in the port, about a 5 minute walk from the Olia, which takes you into town for 2€ per person. The ride takes about 10 minutes so it was quite convenient.

We had a room only deal so we did not eat at the hotel but I believe they do breakfast daily and it appeared that one night a group of guests was having their evening meal in a covered seating area (which is lovely) just adjacent to the pool area. I've seen reviews stating that there aren't any food options in the Tourlos area and that's just simply untrue. Those people must not have looked because there's a place called Cantina, "Mykonos Street Food" literally right next to the hotel (which is amazing, the food is so nice and you can order it to eat there at the pool which we did a couple of times); there's another restaurant called Molaraki Mediterranean Cuisine and another called Mathios Tavern just a couple hundred yards from the hotel. The Cantina and those 2 restaurants were all excellent.

Overall the trip was just amazing. The Olia is so relaxing and laid back, and the vibe is unreal. You can sit right out by the pool on a little raised deck and watch the sunset while enjoying wine from the pool bar - only 4€ a glass. So lovely. We absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back again next year 🙂

After 2 weeks Greek Island hopping we booked 2 nights at Olia hotel for a taste of Mykonos before our flight back to UK. We chose Olia primarily to fit our budget as most hotels are much pricier in the very prestigious Mykonos! The position right near the port where we disembarked our ferry was also important. The hotel is literally opposite the port, a 5 minute walk with cases straight to hotel. We were travelling as a family with 2 teenage kids so needed a large room. The room was right at the top of the hotel, many steps if you have mobility problems but that afforded amazing views over to the port and Mykonos with great sunsets. The room had a king-size bed, pull out settee and single with good sized bathroom, it was ideal for a couple of nights but a bit tired. The pool and outside area just lovely, very relaxing, can't hear busy road to port and very interesting watching the port activity with cruise ships etc. The sea ferry opposite takes you into mykonos, a 10 minute boat ride and the Cantina next door does great Gyros, with 2 well stocked supermarkets next door to that. We were greeted with a warm welcome and an informative guide to Mykonos, transfer to airport was also greatly received as not easy to organise in height of summer. Breakfast was also good, hot and cold options.

Me and my partner stayed here for 7 days. What a beautiful hotel!! Room was fresh and bright with a balcony looking directly at the marina so we had the pleasure of watching the sun set every evening. Air con, safe, wifi and fridge was of no extra charge. Perfectly situated for both the public bus and water taxi. Staff very helpful, polite and friendly. Rooms and towel changes daily. Pool was extremely clean. Couldn't fault this hotel at all. Highly recommended

We stayed her for 2 weeks which I would say is quite unusual, lots of travellers or so it seems use it as a passing through stay, as it is situated near the new port where the ferry come in.
Our stay was the end of June beginning of July so not a lot of children (great for us) we stayed in room 22, 50 steps from the bar/restaurant area.
When we arrived George greeted us with a warm welcome giving us a map and telling us how to get about and some of the local historic things to see. He was helpful all through our stay the whole staff were warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
Our room had a lovely view of the port and a bit of a sunset view too. The cleaners kept it spotless also fresh linen and towels regularly. There was no charge for the air conditioning and safe which we thought was great, complimentary toiletries were very nice, having known this I would have not taken any. The wardrobe space was a little awkward if you have long dresses it was a problem, hair dryer could be a little nearer the mirror, but was very good.

Pool area has towels you can use on a daily basis with no charge or deposit, if you were heading out to the beach or going on a trip they give you towels from Reception still no charge or deposit.

Restaurant has a limited menu, could do with maybe a bit more of a snack / lunch choice but the food was fresh, presented well and was of good quality.

Breakfast was very similar every day but breakfast is breakfast, lovely dinning room and 2 terraces overlooking the new port. You can help yourself to as much as you want.

I would recommend this hotel for a short or long stay like we did.

This is a little gem of a hotel. Overlooking the marina/port, there's plenty to watch as you sit on your balcony or lounge by the pool.
It's very clean and well kept, daily room clean and towel change.
This was our honeymoon and I'd contacted the hotel in advance to arrange a surprise for my wife. Not only did we have a massive bunch of flowers and a bottle of moet chilling in the room, but they'd put us in the honeymoon suite (largest room). Amazing!!
Very friendly staff, lovely continental breakfast.
A must to visit, especially if you're island hopping. A small seabus takes you into the old port, 10 minutes walk from the hotel

We are staying at the Olia Hotel just outside of Mykonos town which is a small family run boutique hotel. It is beautiful. It is furnished to a very high standard with wonderful Greek touches throughout. The hotel is meticulously clean. The pool area has a very relaxing vibe with an infinity pool overlooking the Aegean and ambient music playing throughout the day. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. They are cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. The food at the hotel is delicious. Breakfasts here have been plentiful. We have enjoyed having our lunches here with an ice cold mythos beer being attentively looked after by Alexandros. There are also a selection of meals to have in the evening if you didn’t want to leave the hotel. Georgios at front of house is very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. He will provide any information you need to know about the island. All the staff have been wonderful. The hotel is in a great position, close to the New Port to catch the sea bus into Mykonos Town. There are a couple of supermarkets very close by and Cantina next door serve amazing coffee and great Greek food.
We have certainly found the jewel in the Aegean Sea staying at the Olia Hotel. We love it here and will definitely return. Highly recommended.

I stayed with 2 friends at the hotel for 3 nights and we loved it. It was a lovely change from a larger more commercial resort. All staff were very hospitable and the Cantina steer food was amazing and very reasonable and even served to us at our sun beds!
Despite the hotel being away from Mykonos Town, the seabus and taxi service are really easy to use.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely return.

Check in- From the get go, the staff at Olia were friendly and helpful. Letting us drop our bags off early, giving us loads of local information and making check in painless. Upon our return, our bags were waiting for us in our room.

Room- The room was spacious and the bed was huge with a great view of the sea, with a balcony. The rooms are cycladic style so are basic with a charm but they have everything you need, including a fridge. Shower was nice and warm and the bathroom was clean. There is a bit of noise from the port so if you are a very light sleeper then potentially you don't want to be right at the front of the building.

Facilities- Breakfast was tasty but with potentially a smaller choice than larger hotels. It still had enough choice for us, with a continental style and a hot choice. As for the other facilities, we only stayed one night so didn't use them so can't comment.

Overall it was a great comfortable room and I would definitely recommend.

Thanks for having us!

Considering that this was the fifth year in Mykonos and everytime I booked a different hotel rated 1 or 2 stars, Olia hotel rated 3 stars was the worst experience.
We booked a room with sea view, but they gave us a room with partial sea view (actually kitchen view), for sure not the one showed in the pics. We asked for a change but they told us that everything was not available ( we booked the room 5months ago).
The day before our departure we asked for a free trasfer from the hotel to the airport (as stated on their website) but they told us the flight was too early for them and we should have called a taxi.
The breakfast was ok, but for sure not 3stars hotel breakfast in Mykonos (no variety and quality not excellent).
Pool closed at 8pm and you cannot even stay on the sunbeds after the closing.
I will not recommend this hotel and for sure next time in Mykonos I will not come back.
