Our family owned and operated guest house lays in the heart of Hasliberg. In the winter only a few steps away from the ski slopes (ski in), in summer it's the perfect gateway for your mountain experience. The hotel offers both, cozy rooms, all with en suite bathrooms as well as family apartments with fully equipped kitchen. The restaurant is widely known for its authentic, local and seasonal specialities.

This B&B has made our July stay in Switzerland so much more special! The ladies who run this place really enjoy what they are doing, and it shows. We had a little baby and they went out of their way to accommodate every request we had. Fantastic food, comfortable room and really, really special hosts. We will be back!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Hotel zur Post! Our room was quite small but very tidy and clean w/a new modern bathroom. Bed very comfortable. The restaurant was cozy and the food was very delicious--carefully prepared by the chef/proprietor and family. The location was beautiful w/beautiful view available from front of restaurant. Location also great for area hiking. We chose to stay an additional night when we saw how convenient the location was to hiking and seeing the beauty of the area. The crown jewel is the family who owns/runs this hotel/Gasthof. Gaby was so helpful to us--helping us w/ideas for hiking and seeing the beautiful surrounding areas. We appreciated that she was willing to communicate in her (very well spoken) English as we do not speak German. She and her mother, father, and Sandro are lovely hosts!

This place is fabulous. Off the main roads so very quite and in a stunning location overlooking the mountains - takes your breath away. Lisbeth, Happi, Gabie and Sandro made me feel most welcome. My bed was super comfortable with nice pillows and the food was oustanding. You know it's a good place when the locals eat there. Lisbeth gave me local advice on the best motobiking routes which was much appreciated. Breakfast was great and so was the coffee. You won't find a friendlier hotel combined with great location and super food than the Gasthof zur Post. I'm definitely going back.

This family-run hotel is located in Hasliberg-Goldern, a small village about 30 minutes from Interlaken. There are 12 different accommodations ranging in size, all modernized, exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and include en suite. Some accommodate families with children and others are a little smaller. Some rooms having cooking facilities and others, like ours, are smaller with no appliances other than TV. There are 2 stand-alone cottages and the other 10 are in the main building above the restaurant. Our room was actually one of the cottages, very comfortable for the two of us, and a creek running behind the cottage was quite soothing to fall asleep at night. The cottage was furnished with typical Swiss twin beds, chairs and a small table. The bath is small with a walk-in enclosed shower. The view from the property is fantastic with the Eiger, a glacier and other mountains seeming so close you think you can walk up to the top. There is a gondola a few minutes driving time from the hotel which rises over 6000 feet and provides a spectacular view of the valley and mountains. You can eat and drink at the top and take in the view and fresh air. The hotel can be reached by train from anywhere in Switzerland via Brunig. You then take a 20-minute bus ride to a couple hundred yards from the hotel. The cost of the train and bus is included in your Swiss Rail Pass. Or, if you drive there is ample parking. The staff, Gabie, Sandro, Lizabeth and Happi are wonderful people. They are fun, energetic people who make you feel part of the family. Note: there are no elevators as none are really needed - and, of course no place to put one. The experience we had at Hotel Zur Post during our 2-night stay in unforgettable.

We stay at Hotel zur post already for a lot of years, most during wintersport but also to stay some time during summer. We have been in the rooms but also in the apartment. Both are good to enjoy the holiday and the time we stay. No matter when, we feel very welkom and it good to be there again. We love the family atmosphere, that i's not too big and that it's situated just in a small village. It close to other places to visit. The family Nägeli is friendly and alway's willing to help. We hope to be able to come for many more years...

Stayed in the hotel last summer for 2 nights. Rooms are basic, not overly spacious but clean. Beds are good. Staff is very friendly. They speak German and English. Wifi is good (login page is a bit annoying though). Good breakfast. In general the food is quite good.

A quiet little place in a very quiet town. Fortunately, they had everything I wanted, a comfortable bed and a decent meal. I'll note that my room was about 5cm taller than I (188cm) was, which felt a bit odd, but the space was more than adequate and I slept well.

Dear cvdwl, thanks a lot for your visit and your nice words about our guesthouse! I'm happy you liked your stay with us. This original bernese farmers' house is under protection by the the Swiss Heritage Society, whose obejctive is to preserve architectural heritage. If you look at the building closely, you can see that the year 1752 is craved in the wood under the gable and in one of the rooms there's a stove that even dates back to 1563. People were tiny in those days :-) Hopefully, we can welcome you again soon! Many greetings from Hasliberg - Gabie, Sandro and the "Pöstli" crew

Stayed at this Lovely quiet family hotel for a short overnight ski trip. Very welcoming service. Stayed in a very well sized annex room very close to the Hotel. Great location to the Ski lift, 15 minutes on foot or there's a bus stop that will take you just outside the hotel. Breakfast was served to the table and there was plenty available. Thanks family Nägeli.

We stayed at the Gasthof zur Post while visiting the Ecole, right across the street. Gaby was most helpful with our arrival, as we didn’t have a set time. She made sure we could get into our room easily even though she was not there on that day. Our room was a family room with four beds, and a nice shower. The view of the gleicer is what blew me away! It’s stunning! Breakfast was included into the room rate and was a simple lovely German breakfast with beautiful bread, ham, jams and eggs. The owners are very lovely people and I am looking forward to returning there!

My stay at the hotel was very enjoyable. The accommodations are basic, but very clean. The hotel dining room is closed on Monday and Tuesdays, but there is another restaurant within a ten minute drive. The breakfast at the hotel was served to the table and eggs prepared as requested. I ate two dinners at the hotel restaurant and found them to be well prepared and very tasty. The people at the hotel were most accommodating and friendly.
