A superb place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Mani. Excellent facilities and outstanding sea views. Just a short drive from Limeni, Areopoli and Diros Caves.
We would definitely recommend it and are looking forward to visiting again in the future.

The room was beautiful as well as the view to Limeni bay. Also the pool is a good option for the days you don't want to move away from the hotel with such magical view. Bartender was very helpful and an active listener for suggesting a tasteful and digestive cocktail as the good in this place is also notable. Lavraki frikase was a revelation! We hope to visit again soon!

We just returned from a week at Petra and Fos. It is a very hotel in a stunning setting. The construction mirrors the other buildings in the area. and the low key vibe was quite enjoyable. We were a group from America and so liked to hang together. P&F had many areas that were great for doing this. The service was impeccable, and the made to order coffee every morning was delicious. We also enjoyed 2 dinners here, they were both delicious. The owner was kind enough to join us for drinks one night and it was nice to get to know her a little bit. The view from the pool is awesome. The only complaint I would have is the water in the pool was awfully cold.
We did not use the spa.

We stayed for 3 nights, our last day being today, and had an absolutely lovely time - it is a beautiful location the pool and food are 5/5.
Unfortunately, the service was subpar. As an example, the waitress didn't know the menu, what the catch of the day was, whether the shrimps were frozen etc. The man at the concierge was like a deer in headlights whenever we asked him something. Upon checkin he just stared at us for what seemed like a full minute after we were 'checked in' and we had to ask him to take us to our rooms and help us with our bags.
We were also informed that we were only allowed to have breakfast from 845-1000 (I can't remember the exact time frame) because we were in a certain room group and the second room group were only allowed to have breakfast from 1015 to 1130 so as to avoid overcrowding. It was extremely strange and inflexible. I did receive a call the next day saying I could order room service for breakfast at anytime I chose but I had to order it before 8pm the day before and give them the exact time I wanted it.
Upon checkout we did not even get a 'thank you for staying with us' or anything similar to a normal hotel experience.
It wasn't that it was purposefully bad - but that they hadn't been trained properly. I'm sure if management put some time in it would be much better!
The service did not take away from the amazing view and time that we had. I definitely recommend if you're not too sensitive about service.

Thank you for the time you spent reviewing our hotel. Due to Covid 19 we have proceeded to changes that we send to our guests with the confirmation letter. When the guests check in, they are once again informed about the new policies, that by the way are supported by the greek law. These changes refer to the breakfast and cleaning. As far as the breakfast is concerned, diriving from your review, is served a la carte or as room service. We have divided the rooms into two groups so we avoid overovercrowding. You choose what you want to eat from the day before, at maximumm 20:00 o'clock. If you do not want to take breakfast at the time your room belongs, then you can have it in your room. We are really sorry if our Covid 19 measures do not satisfy you but we try to be the most careful we can. Thank you

We chose this option for our stay in Oitylo because it advertised a Spa. The idea of a few days on the coast with Spa treatments sounded like a nice respite from the cultural touring. This is probably one of the more expensive options in the area, but we were prepared to pay a premium for premium offering. This hotel does not offer the value for the price it charges for rooms or for the meal in the restaurant. And to call itself a Spa is a misrepresentation. We arrived on a Sunday for a three night stay. Despite receiving a pre-arrival welcome email promoting the Spa as being open daily, we were told on arrival that only one massage professional was available for a few hours on Sunday afternoon and that the Spa would be closed on Monday and Tuesday. One massage professional available 5 evenings a week with a limited offering of treatments and a Jacuzzi (which is closed) does not make a Spa. Don't make the same mistake as we did. Choose a hotel more conveniently located to the beach and dining amenities within Oitylo or Limeni. Petra & Fos is misrepresenting what it is - a quaint hotel on the hill with reasonable service and a pool - nothing more.

Ideal location with a perfect view.
However, the quality of the food did not at any point match the price. Had we known, we would prefer to have a cocktail at the bar to enjoy the view and avoid the overpriced restaurant. If you pay 42 euros for a main, you expect it to be perfect. In this case, it was far from perfect.

I am really sorry for your disappointment. Just to let you know our hotel has ended the collaboration with Mr Papanikolaou whose menu you have tried. We hope to give us the opportunity to prove you that things are different.

I visited Petra & Fos Boutique hotel & spa this month. The rooms themselves are very nice. And the view amazing.
BUT, the BREAKFAST was so poor..
plus both of the times we made our order it came wrong! Also, the only coffee included in the price was filter coffee which you couldn’t drink cause it had no taste..
If you want to be called Boutique Hotel & Spa.. you have to meet the standards.

Unfortunately I have not used the property myself, instead was in talks for an exclusive property booking for a wedding. Whereby the property looks really amaizing, it is very unfortunate that the service provided in wedding preparation is below zero. All appointments by phone did not take place on time, long waiting time for a reply and you always need to follow up on your own. General Manager replying in a rude manner without showing any appreciation for your interest and extremely tight cancellation policy, even during the Covid19 time. Do not suggest this property for a wedding. Cannot say anything about the service itselft.

Dear 126nikitaa, We really appreciate your interest in our hotel, but being a serious business we had to reject your plans for getting married in our property. As I remember, our Covid policy of total refund in case of not being possible to travel , totally covered you, as being proved by your e-mails. Our points of disagreement were firstly our cancellation policy, in any other case EXCEPT COVID19 and secondly the fact that you wanted to bring your oun drinks which is illegal for the hotel, because we must have invoices for everything that is consumed in the hotel, as again proved by your e-mails. For this reason your review is at least misleading. You should be very carefull when trying to discredit a business that you have never visited.

Wonderful location with breathtaking views - especially from the infinity edged pool. Nice and clean rooms that unfortunately start to get filthy and old - as the complete hotel does. Only half of the outdoor area is used, the other half is full of dried and dying plants and un-used tables and chairs that are slowly rotting. There were no coffees included in the breakfast and one cappuccino costs 5 Euros. A very unpleasant surprise as you pay far less everywhere else on Peloponnese! Drinks and cocktails were also very expensive and in no relation to the prices in the places in Aereopolis. We felt sorry for Petra & Fos which probably used to be a really nice place but now feels like a mismanaged not very welcoming hotel.

It is a nicely located hotel, but at the price for Greece.
The power went out regularly. The bathroom is small and if you are larger than 1.75 you will not fit in the shower.
There is an extra charge for a cup that fits in the coffee machine..
Breakfast is below par for what they're trying to project.
No fruit juice and no cappuccino..
Attempts are made to be a 4 a5 star quality. However, that doesn't just save you with the building and a swimming pool.
The water runs right out of the shower in the bathroom.
And on arrival, there was a dead rat at the reception outside.
No Greek hospitality you would expect.

I am so sorry I've just seen your question... I think you don't need any more the information about the beaches. But yes there are a lot of them around. If you still need guidance I will be happy to provide you with more info. Regards !
Καλημέρα. Μπορείτε να επισκεφθείτε το ξενοδοχείο για φαγητό και κοκτέιλ αλλα για το γαστρονομικό εστιατόριο θα πρέπει να κάνετε κράτηση. Ευχαριστω
