We had the pleasure of staying here for two weeks in June , we were warmly greeted with hugs and kisses from our hosts and this warmth continued throughout our stay, we were made to feel like family , any question or query was swiftly answered and any help needed was soon acted upon .
We had room 107 which was on the upper floor with great views over the lake , a spacious room with a covered outside kitchen and an open balcony area, this worked perfectly for us as being on bed and breakfast basis we used this area for our morning mugs of tea and our evening drinks before venturing out . Our room was cleaned daily and towels and sheets changed regularly, we always had hot water and complimentary toiletries.
If you didn’t want to go out for dinner there was a Specials board within the hotel which had a different home cooked meal every night , the Stifado was our absolute favourite and home cooked to perfection, at a very reasonable price and high quality, just make sure to book so not to miss out !
For Breakfast there were cereals , homemade jams , Greek yogurt, fruit , a continental style selection, perfect eggs , lovely bread with a normal toaster not to mention all the home prepared delights that were brought to your table, make sure to bring expandable or loose fitting clothing !
On a Friday they put on a Greek night / Bar B Q night for €19 with delicious plentiful food and some dancing , this was great fun evening and one not to be missed.
Whilst staying here we made some great friendships and had so many laughs along the way , you know who you are 🤣
Our hosts also booked a couple of boat trips for us and we had the best days ever on the Ioanian star and Ms Christina , both so different but both are superb especially who we had the pleasure of sharing these days with .
To sum up , this hotel is in such a beautiful peaceful area with the most perfect hosts which makes for a relaxing holiday , the bus stops are very convenient for making daily adventures out and very reasonably priced. There are plenty of other restaurants within walking distance along the main road or waters edge .
The hotel has a fantastic pool area with sunbeds and pool bar which has a happy hour / hours daily 🤪
Huge Thank You to Nadia , Nektarios , Anthoula and Dimitris for making us so very welcome into your lovely family hotel ~ it was a perfect stay for us in Lygia 🧿💙🧿

Family run - relatively small hotel. Run by Dimitri/ Nectarius/ Anthula snd Nadia - but the kids help out too ! Unusual location - front is a beautiful lake - so peaceful to sit and walk around. There is a pebble beach about 300 yards away - water very calm and clear - lovely to swim in and views of greek mainland beautiful. Take swimming shoes to make it easier to walk on. Team at hotel are soooo very welcoming and literally can’t do enough for guests. Rooms are in 2 blocks - brand new and a more traditional style - we stayed in traditional style which had lovely views over fields and moutains - clean room and bed was v comfortable - pool is quiet - no fighting for beds - some of the pool furniture prob needs upgrading in future. Gardens surrounding hotel are lovely- lots of shaded areas - lots of personal touches. Good access to bus stop and access to a limited number of good restaurants within easy walking either on main road or via tranquil pebble beach - Lefkada within 5 min bus ride - interesting town with marina and main street with classy shops bars etc. Hotel does good quality home cooked food at good prices for breakfast lunch and dinner. Loved the people and loved the tranquil location - with easily accessible options to explore the rest of the beauty of Lefkada - hope you enjoy !!

Where do I start, from the moment we stepped off the coach we had the warmest of welcomes we have ever had on any of our many Greek holidays. This accommodation led by Nadia and family is in a lovely quiet position overlooking the lagoon and just minutes from the sea. The accommodation was spotless and cleaned every day and as for pool and bar/ restaurant area was a great place to meet up with other guests. Food was amazing from the breakfast and the evening specials, the family were always there to chat to and to advise on many places to visit and arrange boat trips and car rental.
I personally think that this is one of the most picturesque Greek Island we have visited.
We wish Nadia and all the family all the very best for the future.

From Adrian and Jane ( room 204 )

This was our second visit and we enjoyed it just as much, if not more, than last year.
It’s such a lovely hotel run by lovely people (Nantia, Anthoula, Nektarios and Demetris) who work so hard at ensuring all of their guests enjoy themselves and can’t do enough for you !
It’s relatively quiet so don’t expect a busy hotel with lots to do, but it’s perfect if all you want to do is relax around the pool or in the well maintained grounds.
The breakfasts are still amazing, all home cooked/ prepared traditional dishes along with the buffet, catering for all tastes.
You can choose to eat at the hotel in the evenings (traditional Greek dishes) which are very well priced, or at any of the local restaurants of which there are many.
The hotel pool bar is brilliant, almost too convenient !! with a happy hour between 4-5pm
The pool itself is plenty big enough and cleaned daily, very refreshing.
Rooms are meticulously cleaned and serviced every day to a high standard.
The Greek evening on Fridays is a must go to, excellent food and traditional dancing where everyone gets involved along with the staff, not to be missed.
We also had an excellent day trip on the Ionian Star boat, arranged by the hotel, 55 euros each which includes a very good lunch and lots of swimming, beaches etc
Buses on the island are very good and cheap. We travelled to a number of different parts of the island very easily.
Finally, we can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Please take a look at them if you’re considering a Greek holiday, you won’t be disappointed 🇬🇷☀️🏖️😎👍

A warm welcome upon arrival was our first pleasant experience at villa Olga on Lefkas. Nadia came to welcome us by name as we got out of the car and onto the street. Fantastic.

In addition, Nadia and the rest of the staff ensure that you are not short of anything. We had not booked breakfast in advance, but fortunately this could be added and we did not regret it! A lot of food for a fair price. Deliciously local and freshly made.

The rooms are clean and maintained every day, watching the sunset on your balcony while the conviviality of people eating from the terrace creates a nice atmosphere. If you would like to join us for dinner in the evening, you can! Be sure to try the daily menu! Delicious. But if you just want to have a drink in the evening, that is also possible.

The highlight was the BBQ evening, attended by almost all guests. What started with a salad and meat and beer and wine quickly turned into a dance and music evening you will never forget.

I wouldn't know what you would be lacking here and what if you are missing something? Nadia and her colleagues are happy to solve it for you.

Location to Lefkada town is good
The same location on the other side of the island.

Pebble beach within walking distance and for the rest rent a car and enjoy all the beauty that this island has to offer.

If we ever go back to Lefkas, we already know where we will sleep! @villa Olga

What a fabulous week! A beautiful hotel run by the most wonderful family! The hotel is lovely to lounge around the pool in the most relaxing surroundings or take a 3 min stroll to a lovely quiet little beach. Everyone is looked after like family and nothing is too much trouble, every meal we ate there was perfect and delicious, and our room kept spotless each day by our lovely cleaner. A 5* experience all round! We are definitely returning!

From the minute we arrived, we were made to feel at home. This is a lovely family run hotel in the traditional Greek sense, the hotel is run by Nadia Anthoula and thier husbands Demitris and Nektarios who were all fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them. We were greeted on arrival by Nadia and Anthoula with homemade lemonade and given a brief introduction to the local area and the Island along with a map with places of interest to visit. We stayed in the deluxe sweet, which is stunning, with two balconies, one with sea view and the other with mountain views, which we loved. The room was cleaned on a daily basis with the bedding changed every couple of days or so. The breakfast at the hotel is brilliant, with a buffet selection of cereals, yoghurt, home made jams and honey, then on top of that you get a constant supply of hot food fresh from the kitchen which is brought to your table until you have had your fill. We also had a few evening meals and a couple lunches during our stay which again was of very high standard.
Lefkada itself is stunning, we hired a quad bike for a week, ( very kindly organised by Nadia ) and we got all around the island, we also went on a couple of boats trips, the MS Chritina and the Paddle Board Boat trip both of which were excellent in different ways.
If you're looking for a laid back relaxing holiday with lovely hosts, this is the place for you, we have already booked to go back next year.

As seasoned Greek island travellers we have just returned from two weeks holiday at Villa Olga. Can only repeat all the good things that have been said before.
Two such lovely hard working families and a support team who can’t do enough for you. We had a Junior suite which is far and above any Greek self catered accommodation we have stayed in previously. Modern and light with the standard two ring hot plate kitchenette with a full sized fridge. We have never stayed at any Greek self catering accommodation that had a toaster provided as standard but I am sure that if you had asked they would have provided one. Clean towels every day and beach towels and beach shoes provided if you wanted them. Food was all delicious local produce both at breakfast and in the evening. Home cooked high quality traditional Greek food served with a smile and prices comparable to the local tavernas. The Greek night was a must, so much food and great entertainment put on by the Villa Olga team. Adequate sized pool for the apartments, cleaned every morning, and a quiet local pebbly beach 5 minutes walk away. As with many Greek islands beach shoes recommended. The Villa Olga team organised our boat trip and car hire making it so easy with nothing too much trouble.
We have noticed a couple of quite negative reviews posted recently, just wonder which Villa Olga they visited, because it definitely was not the same one that we stayed at.
The surroundings and buildings give Villa Olga its charm with the modern Junior suites a great addition to the accommodation provided. Whilst we were staying there the majority of guests were 50+. However there were also young couples and a larger family group as well.
Thank you Nadia, Athuala, Nikarios and Dimitris and your support team for giving us a wonderful holiday. Hopefully we will see you again.

We stayed at Olga lounge hotel for one week from 27th August . We chose Lygiá as it’s a good base to explore the north and north west of the island . We had a car but lots of other guests used taxis or the local bus .
The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the main road and is in a quiet location overlooking the salt flats and wetlands .
It’s a small family run hotel and Nadia and her family couldn’t do enough for us . They were so friendly and super helpful. We had a room in the newer block overlooking the pool . It was perfect . King size bed and a comfy sofa , a large balcony and small kitchenette in a cupboard . Fine for making tea and coffee and a fridge for cold drinks . The bathroom had a shower and plenty of hot water . The aircon was a bit feeble but that’s my only complaint.
We ate there a few times and the keftiko was amazing. They also do a Greek night on Fridays , which was huge fun . There’s a pool bar which does food during the day and a happy hour from 4-6 . The guests were a mix of brits, Germans , Dutch and Scandinavians . Mostly couples of all ages .
If you’re after karaoke or quiz nights , this isn’t the hotel for you.
It’s a 14 minute drive to Lefkada town or 2 euros on the bus . 10 in a taxi .
The beach there isn’t great , we went to Nydri a few times but also explored the beaches in the north and west coast .
I loved my stay at Olga lounge

To reiterate what the other reviews have said, Nadia, Amthoula, Nectarios and Dimitris are what makes this place very special. We stayed for a week and during that time they organised a boat trip, car hire, scooter hire and rang taxis for us, they all really looked after us and made us feel so at home. Villa Olga has a very homely, chilled vibe, the pool is gorgeous and never had trouble getting a bed. Breakfast was great, with something different to try every morning. There is a little stony beach over the road from the hotel, which is very quiet and we spent a couple of days there as it had a little more breeze. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from restaurants and supermarket, and 10 euros by taxi into Lefkada town, which is a beautiful little town in itself. We went over to Kathisma beach for the day, which was busy but has the most beautiful clear water, parking was 8 euro (in the shade) and sunbed was 25 euro for two. Avoid the ones at the front which are 50 euros. We also tried a couple of beaches up by Lefkada which were lovely and 10 euros for 2 sunbeds. Would just like to say a big thank you to Nadia, Amthoula, Nectarios and Dimitris for making our holiday so enjoyable, and we hope to be back soon

Prices were higher than nearby restaurants and portions were much smaller. I suggest you try the Greek family restaurant on the main drag with overhanging trees across the entrance, it is excellent

Hello just completed our reservation for the delux suite for 2024 summer. We stayed at this hotel with my partner 10 years ago and last year with our kids in the delux suite. This place is amazing. Don't have second thoughts. Our kids loved the amazing breakfast, food and pool. The delux suite was renovated last year and it is stunning if I am not mistaken the whole hotel was renovated last year. It is on the second floor with nice view overlooking the sea water and the beach nearby. It comes with two big balconies a bedroom and a living room seperate kitchen area and huge deluxe bathroom. I'm absolutely sure you will have a fantastic stay, most of the guests are repeaters our kids made friends with another family and we will be together this year too.
