Hari Club Beach Resort has received a mixed bag of feedback from its guests. The rooms have been a point of contention, as some guests find them to be clean and cozy, while others have criticized them for being poorly maintained and unclean. The resort's amenities are generally well-regarded, with clean facilities and enjoyable activities, although there have been some complaints about the poolside snacks and beach cleanliness.
While the atmosphere is often described as vibrant, there is some feedback suggesting that the pool music selection could be improved. Concerns about the resort's value for money have been raised, with some guests feeling that the experience does not align with other 4-star hotels. Yet, when it comes to cleanliness and service, many have praised the resort, noting the diligent daily upkeep and the staff's commendable friendliness and professionalism.

We never had the opportunity to stay in the Hari Club Hotel of Djerba before. For that, we were not very excited when we booked 2 weeks holiday from the 28th of July to the 11th of August in this hotel as we couldn’t find availability for that period in the hotel where we usually stay-in in Djerba. We arrived late on the 28th, but still we were warmly welcomed by the reception and we were offered a room on the ground floor. The room was comfortable and spacious but we requested a change the next day as I prefer a view from a balcony. The staff was very receptive and we were given a new room. The hotel is front sea, not big and has undoubtedly a homely spirit. The sea is sparkling and you can even see small fishes at the sea floor. The food is good and you will always find something that you prefer to eat. Rooms are cleaned daily and the room cleaner was very nice. All staff either at the reception, restaurant or the bar are very friendly with a welcoming smile. The animators were trying their best to entertain guests during the day and also in the evening. The owner of the hotel is young and motivated and does all his best to satisfy guests requests. Our stay went very quick and we wished to stay longer. I highly recommend the Hari Club for people like me who prefer cosy hotels not too big and offering the imprint and spirit of Djerba. We plan, Inchallah, to stay in the Hari Club whenever the opportunity arises to visit Djerba again.

The rooms we stayed in were good, they are small houses spread around the hotel grounds, the restaurant has a lot of variety, always with something Tunisian to try, the à la carte restaurant is also very good, always with something different on offer, very pleasant common spaces with a good swimming pool and the 20 meters from the beach, on the beach there are beds, shades and a bar always available. There is always entertainment throughout the day from a team of really fun people and there are always activities and games to do. We were always very well accompanied, especially by Suzy who is great at her job and very fun, nothing "catastrophe". Thank you very much for a great week.

The truth is, I don't know where to start... When we left, we were clear that 4* in Africa has nothing to do with Europe, but the hotel was terrible. As soon as we arrived, I was outraged how it was possible for the streets to be littered, and it is supposed to be a tourist destination, as well as the hotel.. even as soon as we entered it was a cacophony and we had to see the reception, where they spoke little English and communication was difficult, but anyway they put us in the "room". It is a bungalow with a small window in the bathroom and a balcony door, without a net and an air gap under which a scorpion can sneak in (thank God we were not that lucky). The rooms are horribly worn out, the covers are stained, the bathroom is shabby, it doesn't need paint, it needs to be cleaned, otherwise the maid tried her best, but it's not just about cleaning anymore. The rooms don't lock, they just have a ball. We left the luggage and went to the pool, hoping there was food all day, it's all inclusive, right? Complete nonsense during the day at the pool there were only puff croissants left over from the morning or bread rolls with tomato, cucumber and ketchup, there was not even ice cream, which is not normal for a hotel by the sea. We stayed hungry waiting for dinner, and guess what, they welcome international guests, but the kitchen is a big BEAM, only Tunisian cuisine, hot, fried and as if everything was cooked from the refrigerator in one place. The dishes are either insufficient or dirty, fruits only melon and dates. It's very cool to go on vacation and starve to death, I have a kid who eats everything, and he eats rice all week. The hotel is advertised on the agencies as having three restaurants, don't be fooled, there is one, the other works by reservation, supposedly fish, and they serve sausage. The pool was hot water, clean, but the sunbeds didn't reach anywhere. The beach is appalling, disgustingly dirty, not even unpleasant to step on, no maintenance, the water is also terribly dirty. There are camels, horses, carts, horses, motorbikes and cars on the beach, I just have no words. Maybe the country is nice, but there is a lot to work on to make the tourist feel good. It is especially nice to go to the sea and sit by the pool, because the beach is disgusting. Regarding the staff, the people in the restaurant are grumpy, I asked not to take my plate and they literally and repeatedly threw it in front of me. I can list all day, I will only say that the agencies lie terribly

The hotel left a very bad impression on us. Dirt, smell, cockroaches, poor hygiene of the rooms, common areas, but also in the issue of food. The hotel pool is not getting cleaned as well as the common toilets at the hotel reception, pool and restaurant. The hotel should definitely have a maximum of 2 stars.
Very unhelpful staff who wanted to solve absolutely nothing.
Rooms
Very worn rooms. Cleaning was only superficial. Occasional change of towels, replenishment of toilet paper (after several urgings and requests to the hotel reception). Bathroom in appalling condition. Rust, non-draining shower, mold in joints, etc.
Dirty beach, full of seaweed (no swimming in the sea for several days). The seaweed is removed once every 4-5 days by a tractor, which ploughs it back into the sea. There is no toilet on the beach. The area around the hotel is dirty, full of rubbish.
The animators struggle to provide a program. However, this is repeated daily, as is the music, which is the same every day from 10:00 am until 1:00 am. The evening program for children is the same every day. Disco plays until late in the morning. If you stay close by, you won't get any sleep. Playground for kids in absolutely desolate condition, broken swings, tin carousel which I would definitely not recommend in 50 degree heat.
Poor hygiene when storing and handling food. Food is uniform, tasteless. If something is not eaten at lunch, you will find it encased in another dish the next day. The tables are not cleaned, they are set only for the first lucky ones. Very spicy dishes are served, but often underdone or undercooked. This is definitely not a family friendly hotel. They would suffer greatly. Long queues, not enough warming boxes with food which they don't keep refilling.

Experience to forget Room totally different from the photos, old, poorly maintained and not clean at all Bathroom that hasn't seen a sponge for maybe 10 years, sewer smell always present Bathroom towels mostly stained and dirty Wi-Fi not working in the rooms and 9 times out of 10 not even in common places (pool, beach, bar etc.) All the services offered by the site were practically unusable (tennis courts without a net and with plants in the middle of the field, ping pong with broken rackets and table, billiards out of order) Poorly maintained beach, full of algae and a rotten smell Stray dogs and cats roaming everywhere, even in the restaurant For food there was a lot of choice but for an Italian everything was inedible Dirty tablecloths and napkins not washed for who knows how long The only positive thing was the swimming pool (although as far as cleanliness is concerned this also needs to be reviewed, water not completely clean and drain grates completely dirty) Loud music every night until late which didn't allow you to sleep The only beautiful part of the village was when we went out for the hike We will try to ask the property for a refund as the village did not match the description at all

We were quite shocked on arrival as the hotel is supposedly 4 star. On being shown to our room we returned to reception and requested another room as the first was so dark, no windows or views. 2nd room slightly better, freshly painted but shower area lots of mould & mildew. Hotel pool area & beach good. However, the food was very disappointing, very restricted choice & often undercooked & not hot but the worst thing was the flys all over the salads left uncovered, uneatable. We've stayed in other 4 star hotels in Tunisia and this hotel fell well short of their standards. The staff were were all friendly but could live without the boom boom rap music played so loudly by the pool. More suitable to nightclub in Ibiza. Suggest the DJ should consider the ages of guests & play more appropriate music. Probably 80% of guests 50+. Whilst the weather was great for Nov & it seemed like a good deal we'd rather pay a bit more and stay at a proper 4star hotel than here, 2 star at best. Badly let down by the food, this view shared by many other guests we met. Would we return or recommend ? NO. Beware!!!

Rooms… a bit dated, but the cleaners were in every day so the cleanliness was fine!
The reception staff were always helpful and friendly!
The animation team here are AMAZING!! Zizo is definitely the star of the show, we all loved him, such a character! Joe, the boss of the animation team was a great laugh, he’s brilliant at his job! Very entertaining! Also blackly, he’s brilliant too, what a guy! Nina is lovely and very friendly too! Not forgetting William and Dana who are also a great part of the animation team! We loved that they all spent time getting to know the hotel guests, they often came over and sat with us, playing games and chatting. If I’m being completely honest, the animation team make the hotel what it is, without them, I don’t think I would return, but we do plan on returning very soon, and look forward to seeing them all again!
The bar staff were also great! Smiley was our favourite, super friendly, and always having a laugh with us!
Food… I’m a very fussy eater, so I’m not the best person to review food, however, there did look to be plenty of variety each day, fresh pancakes each morning and fresh pizzas daily which were a godsend for me, I lived off them for the week! The rest of my family enjoyed the food and enjoyed trying lots of new foods!
The waiters were all very friendly and helpful.
They were constantly stocking up the snacks in the bar too, you couldn’t go hungry that’s for sure!
The hotel went above and beyond on Christmas Eve, they did a cocktail party and disco early in the evening, this was great, the animation team definitely delivered with the entertainment! This was followed by a gala dinner, the restaurant was decorated lovely, with several different courses for the meal! The waiters worked very hard but remained super friendly throughout! The live band was great and played music to suit different tastes! Again, the animation team entertained too!
The WiFi worked but it wasn’t always the best, however, we managed with just that and didn’t end up buying sim cards over there.
Thank you HARI club for a brilliant holiday! And thank you to all of the animation staff, you were amazing and are a credit to the hotel!!!

We went to Hari Club Beach Resort just after Christmas and spent the new Year there. It was a plesant experience and such a lovely unspoilt beach. The sun was shining and it was great to have such weather as compared to London. We were thrilled with the food that we had and there was such a variety of food everyday. The entertainment team were fabulous and I have to say the staff including the waiters and entertainers were great and always delivered exceptional services. We had a great surprise for New Year's eve and the party that was organised was mind blowing and the count down to midnight was really nice. The Spa and massage were very good and value for money. Special regards to Ghaith, who organised our massage. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and always tries his best to offer the best massage at the best prices. The Spa and Massage is a must if you are in Hari Club Beach Resort. Bravo aux staffs!!
