We have just returned from a wonderful holiday exploring the Langhe region of Piedmont staying at the Agriturismo Ca Brusà. The place is well located to explore all wine villages in the langhe area as most of them are within 10-20 km away. There was a warm welcoming and the rooms are big and comfortable. Only at week end (Friday and Saturday evening or Sunday lunch) they offer a 8 course menu with food locally sourced and hand made. Red wines as well at top of the quality. Large choice for breakfasts with fresh cakes and bread, coffee, milk, cheese, eggs, and many other staff offered from home made stock. In a nutshell, worth to go

Very pleasant agriturismo in a wonderful location!

Clean and comfortable rooms with super green views and friendly hosts that managed to serve us a great dinner at 11pm and an even better breakfast the morning after! Grazie Diego e familia!

We joined 8 friends from The USA to tour the Piemonte region, taste wines, eat truffles, and get to see the beautiful villages of the area. There were10 of us staying at the Ca' Brusà, a family owned winery and Agriturismo hotel. Upon our arrival, we got a most enthusiastic welcome from their beautiful dog, Pippa.

The rooms were very comfortable, immaculately clean and. cozy with beautiful vineyard views with ample bathrooms. Rita and her son, Dario take care of the kitchen, while Diego, the owner, and son, Lucca take care of the vineyards and the wine business. We tried many wonderful wines throughout the region, but The Ca Brusà 2006 and 2007 are among the very best we had.
The breakfasts were real feasts every morning. They make their own grape juice, and plum bread, superb coffee, and homemade jams.

Our wine tastings were accompanied by superb regional meats and cheeses, in a family environment.

Kudos to the Manzoni Family!

This hotel does not give you value for money, it offers very basic rooms, not clean and poor service. The hotel is in a secluded area with limited lighting and 5+ km from the closest village. You can find better hotels in the area.

We stayed at Ca Brusà in October 2012. Its location is between Monforte and Barolo, being a perfect location for visiting different wineries in the area. Ca Brusà offers bikes, which is by far the best method for experiencing the area. Riding a bicycle between the wineranks, along dirtroads and off the asphant is highly recommended.
The agriturismo is about 2 km from Monforte and the way to Monforte is basically uphill.
This is not a problem as the owners of the agritursimo offers shuttle to the city (except Saturday/Sunday, I guess).
Rooms are clean, nice and has a typical Italian (old) style.
Eating at Ca Brusà is a an experience. We had a 8-meal course (where three desserts are regarded as one course) including a bottle of wine; price is E35 per person.
Food is made and served by the family. Try it; this is what the Italian cuisine is really like.

Very nice family, very quiet place. It sounds Piedmont, the people, the place, the furnitures, and the food, which is incredibly good thanks to the Mom and son. I recommand! Difficult to grasp how the guy on trip advisor let such a bad comment! If he wanted to be in the city center of Monforte, he had to figure it out before booking this one. Anyway, the city center is a few minutes away. Do not hesitate!

Have just returned from a wonderful holiday exploring the Langhe region of Piedmont. Ca Brusa was our home for 5 nights, set overlooking the vineyards, and hills of Moneforte d'Alba. After a few days we realised what a good spot Moneforte is, as we explored all the hilltop wine villages around us easily - most within 5 -10 miles only. Quiet roads in March - except weekends when many visit from Turin. The owners spoke Italian only, with one or two of their younger staff broken English - luckily my husband is learning Italian. Everyone smiles, warm and welcoming, the place is immaculately kept - our room super big with stunning views over the vineyards to hilltop villages and the Maritime Alps. If you go make sure to dine there on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. We had the 7 course tasting menu - so delicious, and like with all this area - food is locally sourced and the highest quality - and the red wines..well my husband was in heaven. You need to get the largest scale map you can for this area to find your way around. There are many walks too, but the signs not that easy to find. A little traffic noise first thing in the morning, as although rural, it is set on a main road entering the village. Fairly simple breakfasts, fresh cakes and bread, and just occasionally fruit. Pimpa the little dog is gorgeous, made it feel like home from home.

Lovely warm welcome from the family and Pimpa the dog, stunningly peaceful location close to Barolo. Unexpected but sublime dining experience with amazing home produced wine. Multiple courses with each one surpassing the last. A true Piedmonte experience

Authentic family run winery with interesting own wines. Huge and excellent dinner with wine tasting. Perfect location near Monforte and Barolo. Large parking place. The restaurant is open only during the certain days and despite being there 4 nights we had only one chance to enjoy their fantastic dinner - on Saturday. If you prefer an accommodation with a regular restaurant directly in house this property is not a good option to stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of June,as we were attending a wedding nearby. An excellent choice from the moment we arrived we were made very welcome,Dario was very helpful and so friendly, our room was lovely with an amazing view of the rolling countryside nothing was too much bother breakfast was continental style but everything was made on the premises from the cheese, bread, free range eggs and beautiful fresh grape juice.this property has its own winery we were offered a glass of wine while waiting for our transfer to the wedding ,as I am a teetotaller I just had some sparkling water but my husband enjoyed a glass of red ! We got bicycles there and went for a couple of hours beautiful countryside really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it,if you are in the area travel by car it would be so much handier. Overall a truly enjoyable experience so relaxing will definitely stay here if we are in this part of Italy
