It is a quiet cosy hotel on top of the mountains near the lake Garda, which is easy to reach in a few minutes by car. The staff is absolutely friendly and helpful. The breakfast you can have on the terrace with a perfect mountain view. It is also good to do some walks around the village. A parking spot is available directly in front of the hotel.

Booked last minute & drove from Milan airport. Excellent value for money compared to accommodation around Lake Garda. Loved being up in the mountains. Hotel in a small village on a pass at 700m. Family owned & run inc the next door village store. The menu was genuine homemade Italian fayre and very good value. Owners speak limited English but google translate comes in handy! You need a car & to be not afraid to drive up a good number of steep hairpin bends. A good spot to walk in the mountains - we loved Monte Baldo (5 mins away at Prada). Centrally located to visit the historic lakeside towns of Lazise, Malcesine, Riva & Sirmione. Fit bikers paradise with streams of budding Tour De France peeps tackling the hills. You must pay a visit to the village bar - again little English but the locals very friendly & not in the least bit touristy. This is a genuine rural community - I loved it!

On our spontaneous trip to lago di garda we gladly found this jewel about 20 min uphill of Garda. We were lucky, as check-in was possible until 10 pm. After waking up on the next morning, we were overwhelmed by the awesome view from the balcony! The breakfast completed our stay. We will sure return soon for some hiking or mountainbiking!

Bella Italia!!! This secluded and peaceful property offers everything for the exhausted traveller, especially as a contrast to the always busy Lago di Garda itself. Situated around 12 km from the lake and at 700 m above, it offers pleasantly cooler climate and tranquility. Typical small family hotel with personal service, great food and nice clean rooms. It suits people looking for pristine nature and activities other than nightlife. The hotel is a nice example of "Italian two star comfort" I can only recommend it because I will surely return.

I would recommend this place to people looking for a esthetic place to stay near lake Garda. The position of the hotel in the middle of hills is beautiful; it is soothingly hidden from other kitschy touristic areas around lake Garda, perfect place to reach both the lake and mountains (Monte Blado) at the same time. The rooms are big, clean, the stuff really professional. I did and would certainly return to this hotel!

They Hostel was very far away. The car was necessary to reach it. When we arrived the area smelled really bad, cow smell.... The room bus nice, but the internet connection didn't arrive until the room. The bar was not nice, and there were no more restaurants on that little village. At breakfast there was not much to choose. We gave them back the keys, they asked us the Tax but they didn't return us the IDs!!! We weren't aware of that so our IDs stayed there... with the following problems. I wouldn't recommend it.

Hotel was well cared for, very clean and family run. The family were friendly and helpful, and although didn't speak much english, I was able to communicate with them with a couple of italian words. Our room had a balcony and a great view over the surrounding countryside. Bathroom was really nice, brand new. Rooms are nice, more functional that anything and very clean. You can have your breakfast on the terrace and they bring you a mini buffet! Huge cups of coffee, cakes, eggs, meats, cheeses, breads etc. there was no shortage of food. We didn't even need to eat again until the evening with a breakfast like that. There were a lot of cyclists around and mapped out walks. They have a mini market beside the hotel and a small bar inside.
