Detailed Reviews
We had a lovely time at Coralview, where the hospitality was warm, kind and unintrusive. The facilities were simple and let island paradise speak for itself.
It was amazing to be able to step from the resort beach into the ocean and almost right away see incredible coral and fish with just a snorkel. Moses, who runs the activities, is highly experienced and took fantastic care of us when we went out on our excursions (the blue cave was a highlight), giving us plenty of freedom but always being there to help and guide when we needed.
The meals and facilities were simple but wholesome, and the overall package showed that you don't need to break the bank to have a wonderful experience. Marisilina and the whole crew made sure we were well taken care of, and we would love to go back if we had the chance!

The dorm was very nice - really loved the small walls between each bed making some kind of privacy! Staff was friendly and remembered my name isntantly - I really think that is a cool thing. It's not expensive to stay here but the foodplan is quite expensive. I think it's worth it though. Also liked how they put us together at dinner. Free kayak and snorkeling gear is also a lovely attribute! I recommend.

Coralview Resort is one of my favourite places to be. I will honestly say it is a 2.5 star hotel but the experience itself will have you rating it as 4 - 5 star because of the wonderful staffs. Covid really did damage to the economy, so the resort had to be shut down which has left the place, still undergoing repair works. But apart from the maintenance work, we really enjoyed the food (3 course meals). It was worth paying for. Professionally prepped & dished. Better served than any local restaurant. We also got to walk about the beachfront & to the other side of the island where coconut beach resort is, as well as hiked. We were stunned by the amazing view from the top & the weather on the island was just perfect. Always sunny & windy if the knots were high. But we really enjoyed our time, swimming around.
Transport to the resort is no problem since the resort has its own vessel, docked at the Lautoka city - Fisheries wharf (Tavewa Seabus) & travels approximately 3hours daily. Phone network was a struggle with Vodafone Fiji, but Digicel Fiji was well received in terms of data plans (internet).
There is hot water & electricity. Be mindful that the tap water is not for drinking because its hardwater so buying a carton of water is encouraged. There are several resort activities for the day and one of them is going for a swim in the underwater limestone cave at Sawailau Island, that's only in Fiji. It's worth the experience.
5 days on Coralview Resort was a great vacation though we did not want to leave. But I would just want to thank the staffs for making us feel at home. Sota Tale!

Unfortunately it was really windy for my 2 days at Coralview, so no snorkeling or kayaking, and it was cold at night in the breezy restaurant. The best beach is 20 minutes walk past Coconuts resort.
My garden bungalow was tatty and tired, but only a bit more expensive than the dorm, so I can't complain.
The meal plan is FJD100 per day, not that they bother to mention this on the website or email confirmation. Reasonable breakfast with fruit, cereals, choice of egg dishes with bacon hashbrown and sausage. Lunch is one dish, no choice. Dinner was soup, choice of 2 mains, dessert. However, the food quality was marginal, sometimes OK, and sometimes inedible.
The main resort grounds are quite tidy, but it's awful to see the rubbish piled up by the kayaks, and behind the dorms.
Don't miss the walk up the hill for great views.
This is the only Yasawa resort I've ever stayed at that charges for the boat transfer back to the Yasawa Flyer - FJD20, again this is not mentioned anywhere until checkout.

Overall this was my favorite place I have ever visited. To start, the location is simply beautiful. While being remote and peaceful there are still many activities and excursions to do while you are there (at a great price). Cave trips, snorkeling, and many fun boat rides! There was never a moment where I wasn't having fun. The food was delicious at every meal and my room was always clean! Most importantly, the most special part about Coralview Island is its staff. My favorite part of the trip was being able to get to know all of them. Over the 6 days I was there, they became my family and friends. It was so hard for my friends and I to leave them and we already miss them so much!!!! I am already looking forward to the next time I can go back to my home in Fiji. Vinaka to Raijeli, Sio, Toki, and all the staff who made this trip amazing and made us feel at home.
Tip: ask Richard to take you fishing!!! <3

My partner, his son and myself have been to coral view resort in August.
our experience has been positive. The staff was very friendly, the food was absolutely amazing especially for lunch and diner. Made with love and the service was great. They love children. The room was clean but don't expect luxury. They had rough time during Covid and they are doing their best to keep the area in good condition. Snorkling and kayaking are free. They don't have snorkling gears for little one then if you are going with children bring your own for them. The hot water didn't work so we had cold shower for 3 nights with was not a big deal for us, but it can be for some people. We don't know if it worked in the other bungalows or if it was just our. There is a nice snorkling spot close to coconut beach witch is about 15 mins walk. Free Wifi is available in the main area. You can pay by card your stay but you need to pay cash for your food. If you like simplicity, friendly staff, good food, family atmosphere coral view is a good place for you.

I cannot add much to what Stephen said in the review below, however, I can enforce his sayings while I have been there and our stays overlapped for a few days. Totally agree with him and I encourage all good people to enjoy this family's hospitality in a paradisiac environment.
My only regret is to not have taken pictures with them as he did, but I do have their pictures in my mind and will always think and wish the best for them.

Coral view is perfect getaway amid mesmerising Pacific Ocean.
Hospitality & food here are amazing. Even the management & staff are so warm & friendly & they take care your requests even if they have to go little off the way.
I love to explore & experiences different cultures, Fiji was no different. So when we reached coral view, I discussed with Reijel if she can arrange “Masi” I want to have a photoshoot in traditional wear. Even though neither it was not part of our itinerary nor this the activity they have in their resort, she arranged it for me. She was so kind enough to lend me her own Masi that she inherited from her mother.
Coralview is the stay whose memories I am always going to cherish

Diving services are offered by Blue Lagoon just few minutes away from Coralview Island Resort. You can a look at the Dive rates that are on their website.

Bula Roy, No we do not have meal plans anymore. We have a restaurant that guests can order and pay from which are quite reasonable. Guests can either catch the Yasawa Flyer which departs from Port Denarau in Nadi or the Tavewa Seabus from the Lautoka Kings Jetty in Lautoka. Tavewa Seabus is cheap as it is FJD$100 per person 1 way. We also offer pickups from Nadi hotels to the Lautoka Jetty which is FJD$12 per person. The Tavewa Seabus departs daily at 8am whereas the Yasawa Flyer departs at 8.30am.
Bula Nikki,
Best paid activities include the cave trip and the Blue Lagoon snorkeling trip.

Do NOT give them credit card details! They ask you to write them down on a sheet at sign in with your CCV number. They will use them after you have left. Check all guest complaints. Once on the island, you are STUCK there until you pay for things you never used and the extra 25%. It's filthy as well. DON'T GO!
