We went to the restaurant Steake home and discovered that they had on the same location a small hotel with a lovely pool, pool bar and beautyful garden. The last days of our holliday we stayed here. Friendly owners, comfortable room, tasty lunches and friendly staff. Also the restaurant is highly recommended. Price quality is excellent for hotel and restaurant. Resume: La dolce vita!

We had a booking at this place, but chose not to meet up, because their behavior made us feel unsecure. We chose a place, where we felt more secure. So others from our family group also cancelled plans to visit this place.

We dropped in to a local spot for a light snack after a day of touring the Tuscan hills, and later, we walk out after five courses made from local ingredients and a 1/2 case of their lovely wine and local olive oil. Cena tradizionale toscana! Grazie, Roberto and Nerina!

When searching for a nice place in the Tuscan countryside, we found this little gem in the middle of nowhere but easy to reach if you travel by car. Belluccia only has a handful of rooms and is a very nice place to relax and hang at the pool. It has a very nice pool area with a pool bar and a very friendly pool-barkeeper. Since the pool is also open to the public and not only to B&B guests it could happen that groups of people hang out there as well (we were there on a weekend and had a group of 5 Italian couples occupy the deck chairs around the pool and jump and fool around with a ball for hours but they have been quite nice and not too loud). The staff was very nice and friendly, some of them spoke very good English. The room (we stayed in Room #1) was nicely and comfortable furnished, a very good mattress, fridge, TV, nice bathroom. It would have been nice to have some kind of information brochure, there was no information in the room about meal times, how to operate the TV (which was so complicated that we did not manage to get it to show RAI 1 and the final of the World Cup...) etc. The breakfast was delicious!! We were used to the average Italian continental breakfast of packed cheese and sausage and some packed jam and toast but this was completely different! Delicious salami, bacon, cheese (fresh, not packed), homebaked cake, delicious bread and freshly brewed coffee, served by a lovely Italian lady. Dinner in the adjusted restaurant was delicious and of very high quality for reasonable prices! You should definitely eat here, even if you do not decide to stay here for the night for whatever reason. We spent many hours at the nice pool area in the garden and also drove to Vincy (birthplace of Leonardo with a very interesting museum) and were quite sad when we had to leave after 2 nights. This place is so comfortable and friendly we could easily have stayed for a week. We would definitely stay here again when we return to this area of Tuscany!
