Very nice hotel in Abstatt, clean with comfortable rooms. The owners are very kind and helpful and with good english. Breakfast buffet is varied with a good choice of salted food, jams, yoghurt and beverages.

Nestled nicely in the town of Abstatt yet conveniently located near key transportation highways, businesses and countryside, this hotel (including the restaurant) is an excellent choice. Staff is extremely professional and courteous. Accommodations are of high quality and the food is wonderful. Whether dining inside or on the patio, it's a great setting for causal and business dinners.

I visited here when on business in the area. The hotel is relatively basic, but clean, well-presented and friendly. I had wifi access from my room (via pay-to-use Telekom access) which was reliable and fast enough for a high resolution video call. Breakfast was again basic but wholesome and welcome, offering hot and cold continental buffet options. Reception is not manned 24 hours but there is a night-entrance which was easy enough to get it by. The TV was an old CRT unit but offered a range of channels, including the usual worldwide English channels (CNN, BBC World etc). The hotel has its own restaurant and is a short walk from a few others. It is also very close to the large nearby industrial corporation site, which is no more than 5 minutes drive.
Overall a basic but comfortable and perfectly pleasant hotel.

We came here because of the good recommendations and were very disappointed with the food. The staff were very friendly. The salad was very tasty, but we didn't like the rest. The fries were weird and overly seasoned. The quality of the meat wasn't good either. So overall we didn't even eat everything and sent it back. It wasn't worth the trip here for us.

Very nice Hotel comfortable...the rooms are nice and the shower as well. The only thing is the internet connection that you have to pay additionally and is a DSL connection. It should be included i the price and give you a password for connection.
Nicely located and the people also very helpful. the restaurant has a very good menu for Swabian food. price around 80 Euros

The hotel was recommended by a colleague of mine. I arrived late at the hotel. The key was ready for me to pick up. There are quite a few parking spaces. The room is clean and spacious. It is however a bit old. The bed was comfortable to sleep in. The next morning I had the pleasure of meeting the owner. For some reas I need, after they found out I'm Dutch, they weren't very friendly anymore. The other staff members were very friendly and professional. I ordered some food because I'm not a fan of the German cuisine. Apparently that was not a smart move because both the owner and his wife made some comments about it.
The hotel is a nice place to stay in. It's not a 5 star resort, so if you're looking for that, look somewhere else.

This review is for the food. The salad/potato salad are the best! I've eaten here twice. The business has undergone a remodel and is very modern for the area. Once I had the cordon bleu which I recommend and the other time the beef with onions which was good but way over done. The spatzle are good but not the best I've had. The business is family owned and the owners are known to sit down and conversate with you while your having dinner.

I visited this hotel several times. It's family owned and has a nice atmosphere.
Clean rooms, big and nice shower. Food is typical local and good.

My room was very clean, comfortable and new. Dinner was an example of good German food. Host was very hospitable as well. Family managed with real care of the guests. For me, very well managed. What else to add? I suggest it!
