I had the most amazing two weeks at this hotel staff are all so polite from front desk, gardeners and cleaners.Hotel is spotless a special thank you to Risha who made sure our room was spotless. After two weeks we never got bored with breakfast there was so much choice that the two weeks were not enough to sample all choices. Aylana was always waiting with coffee and a smile.Rooms are a great size with A/C and ceiling fans.Beds are so comfortable with a day bed, fridge and a desk area.
Every toliterites thinkable are also provided with a hair dryer, iron and ironing boards, and a safe.
Had lunch a few times with a great menu choice.
On arrival a deposit is taken and any services like lunch or drinks are deducted on check out.We opted to pay when using these services.

Comments for management .
A leaflet in the room or on check In ,to give information on entertainment - I was there a week before I noticed a small poster at front desk and the breakfast area advertising this.
Advertise if there us a happy hour
Opening times of the gym
Aerobics in the pool I would have liked this after walking the beach.
As a couple we did not need our room cleaned everyday but did not have any signs to leave on the door.
Lift was not always working which was not a problem for us but maybe if anyone has mobility issues it could be.
An incentive not to have the room cleaned everyday to help with going more green.
I would definatley use this hotel again...Thank you Radisson Grenada look forward to planning our next vaccation with you.

My partner and I have just returned from two weeks holiday on the fabulous island of Grenada. We had never visited the island before and were surprised how expensive flights from the UK were, and the price of some of the high end hotels so thought a trip to Grenada would be beyond our budget. However we ended up booking ourselves a two week holiday with British Airways Holidays staying at the Radisson Beach resort and were very happy. The hotel is set in the most beautiful grounds which are very well tended. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, and every day there was something different to try from local specialities to the usual more standard hotel selection. My partner is a vegetarian and he had some of the best food of the trip at breakfast times! We were booked in for breakfast only as don't like the idea of All Inclusive, but we did use the beach bar for meals a few times and the food was good. Service was not always perfect as some of the reviews have focused on, and some work could be done to ensure a smoother check in process but in the grand scheme of things this is not a big deal and I think the reviews totally miss the point. We found staff to be very friendly and welcoming to guests. The hotel is kept very clean and the beach facing rooms where we stayed were lovely large rooms with the most fabulous views of the wonderful Grand Anse beach. We would definitely recommend for a stay in the beautiful island of Grenada and wish we were still there now!

We found the staff, especially Reception, to be very friendly and helpful.
Our room (700) was a garden view with the sea to the left and the hotel grounds and hills in front. The room was large with a large balcony. Decor is cream but looking as though it had been painted recently, as did the entire hotel.
The grounds and main swimming pool are excellent with lots of attractive bushes and plants.
The best option at breakfast was a freshly cooked omelette with a good choice of other items which were warm rather than hot. If possible get a price which includes breakfast as it seemed expensive. Alternatively go to Rick’s across the road.
We had the buffet one evening which at 160CD$ each was rather expensive. Another evening we had an excellent, large steak and a piece of chicken at a reasonable price.
The only poor experience was waiting an hour for our main course to arrive another evening.
The location of the hotel is excellent with a supermarket and bank just outside the hotel entrance. Check the currency rate at the bank which was 6% better than the hotel.
The local minibuses stop at the hotel entrance and these can be used to get into St.George’s for 2.5CD$ each. These give you chance to squash in with the locals.
We dined out at Patrick's where you can get over 20 small portions of local dishes for a reasonable price. Also Umbrellas which is 400 yards down the beach with hot excellent food and twice at Cayenne across the road past the supermarket.
Taking the local minibus into St.George’s then going to Bbs or Sail’s maes a very nice outing. Or if a cruise liner is in, you can get a ferry from 200 yards to the right (5 US$) to take you to near the boat mooring.

My expectations of this hotel was based upon what we had paid for an ocean facing room Overall, poor value.
The pros:
Beautiful wide, soft sandy beach, and clear calm water for swimming
Pretty lagoon type pool
Plenty of poolside and beach chairs, except when a contracted cruise ship comes in, where chairs and shade are scooped up. A poor management decision to allow this invasion over paying guests of the hotel.
Housekeeping is pleasant and thorough, and the rooms clean.
Cons:
Expensive for quality of accommodation. Ask for higher floor sea facing room. We checked in before 3pm and, after waiting an hour and a half, were initially put in a ground floor room where people walk past to get to the beach. No privacy and pointless to pay for oceanfront if the curtains have to be closed. We asked for another room and at 6.30pm were eventually moved one floor up. Decor is dated and slightly shabby. Our chest of drawers were broken and the tea/coffee making kit not useable. To be fair, drawes were quickly fixed and solution supplied for kettle (a long, industrial lead) and coffee maker replaced.
Room walls are very thin so hope for a quiet neighbour.
The food is disappointing. Limited healthy choice, pricey and slow service. We waited nearly an hour for quesadillas and chicken tenders the first night and the same time for a sandwich and salad for lunch the next day. The breakfast is a ridiculous $32 per head for an uninspiring buffet.
Ambience in the bars and restaurants curiously soulless.
Whole place understaffed, some insufficiently trained and indifferent.
We decided to enjoy the good parts of the hotel, the beach and pool and stellar rum punches, and went out for all meals. Umbrellas is a fun and reasonable option and West 61 a lovely space, with great drinks and food, slightly higher priced. Both just a stroll down the beach.
Our concerns regarding food and accommodation were very quickly and professionally dealt with by Rahul and Elena. We really appreciated their efforts and see great potential in this hotel, but only once sufficient investment is made in the property and in staffing to provide better food and service.

Thank you for providing such a detailed review of your stay. We are glad that you were delighted with our friendly staff, clean rooms, and you enjoyed our lagoon type pool. On the other hand, please accept our profound apologies if the level of service you received from the staff did not meet your expectations at that time. Also, it saddens us to hear that you were not gratified with your stay due to the condition of the room and the hotel, restaurant, and you did not get the room you had requested as well as the food was not up to your standards during your visit. It is our top priority to provide a comfortable and relaxing accommodation to all our valued guests and we are incredibly sorry if we may have missed the mark. Your voice is vastly important to us and will be forwarded to the hotel management for further improvements. It would be an honor to serve you again and give us another chance to provide you with a stay that is reflective of the Radisson brand.

Within two hours of our arrival the door keys stopped working, locking us out of our room. The maintenance man took over an hour to respond even though I was repeatedly told he’d be by in 5 minutes. He was not able after two hours to get me in my room as I sat about in my bathing suit during super bowl Sunday festivities. Evidently one of the two master keys was lost and the other taken home by a staff member. There was a complete lack of interest by anyone, including management until I lost my temper and got loud. Then we were “treated” to a very substandard meal and incorrect cocktails. After three hours they were finally able to figure out how to get in the room. I demanded another room so they upgraded me to an oceanfront room, which was very nice except it had only one US 110 outlet across the room from the bed. We had to obtain an extension cord. The other side of the property had numerous European and US outlets. The water pressure in the shower was almost nonexistent. The food is very substandard and overpriced for the quality. The breakfast buffet costs a whopping $64 US per person! Bartenders are not trained, cannot handle more than one customer at a time and have no knowledge of the most basic mixology. When cruise ships are in port the passengers walk down the beach and claim the Radisson beach chairs. Get there early and lay claim to yours! The beach is lovely, soft white sand, gentle waves, beautiful. There are no umbrellas on the beach but there are numerous large sea grape trees which provide a lot of shade, again get there early to claim a spot in the shade. The free form pools are very pretty and clean and there are plenty of chairs dnd umbrellas available at the pools. We never found the Oasis bar or cafe open. Strangely vacant. The grounds are mostly well kept if dated. Overall most of the staff were very friendly but untrained. Jenny the towel lady and Maria the housekeeper were delightful. If you are looking for a resort experience you will not find it here. I wanted to love it, I really did, but it needs a lot of work and staff training.

We loved it! It was a cozy hotel on Grand Anse beach! The bed felt like I was sleeping on a pillow, the room was clean, the a/c was perfect. I was pleased. Water was refilled every day, they had citrus flavored water in the lobby daily. All staff were helpful!!! The food in the restaurants were fabulous. The pool near the Oasis Bar was great. Made you feel as if you trekked through a jungle and came across this beautiful oasis with waterfall. The surrounding vegetation, the waterfall placed you in a trance of tranquility!!!

Lets start by saying we really enjoyed our stay at this Radisson. Its location, gardens, pools, games, gym, sports facilities excellent no complaints there. And the staff generally were very freindly and helpful. We would stay again, good value room rates BUT, and these comments are meant to be helpful....
Room 508 was spacious, comfortable beds but in need of modernising, quite “well worn” and out of date fixtures and fittings.”Home Depot” type additional bolts on poorly fitting sliding french windows.
Food and Beverage service was frankly well below the standard of this level of hotel.
We found it impossible to find a drinkable wine..tried Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon..just really poor quality. When we asked for Rosè the reply was “what’s that!”
Breakfast service buffet plentiful but just basic un
appetising fare made worse by a lack of care refreshing the hot foods. Nothing worse than cold congealed bacon! We gave up and ordered Granola/Yoghurt a la carte which took a while coming but OK. Not a decent cup,of coffee to be found, gave up on this too.Bottom line we ate out 90% of the time.
Lack of staff meant a wait of 25 mins to check out.
The manager’s cocktail party though was excellent..really enjoyed it.
Don’t let this review put you off staying here, its just that more attention to detail could turn this good hotel into a great one. Location roughly halfway along Grand Anse Beach,10 mins from airport.

Please do not travel as you quarantine to your room upon arrival even with a negative pcr test. I do not understand the logic as visitors are coming to use the beach and not mingling with the local. To be quarantine to your room and not be able to use the beach or walk around the hotel property with a mask makes no sense. I strongly advise do not travel to Grenada. You are force to eat the hotel food which my daughter ordered Angus hamburger which was not at a Angus burger. She took one bite and threw it up.

Decided to stay here due to quarantine regulations in Grenada. This Radisson advertises having a separate quarantine pool. Since we are in quarantine for 7 days, it seemed worth the extra cost if we could access a pool.
Surprise, surprise, the lagoon pool that is the designated Q pool is out of service. Beach is literally steps from our balcony, but off limits.
Upon arrival Wednesday, we were told the pool was usable-but it was green and lots of debris. When we asked again on Thursday night, out of desperation, we were told by maintenance that there was a leak, and they were trying to repair. Pipes dug up everywhere. When we called front desk just now (Sat and only two days off from busy work schedule), they knew nothing about the pool being closed-but quickly called back and said the pool was being drained for cleaning-no idea when it would reopen. So there goes our weekend. Back to work on Monday with no relief from our basic hotel room.
It’s a great idea in theory, but we feel misled. Will be interesting to see if management tries to make amends.

The place was somewhat dated but it was a very nice location and the pools and restaurants were great. The food was great but the wait service could have been better. The chef was excellent.

We were very disappointed to find that cruise ship passengers are bussed here and take over the grounds and beach most days. If it’s a day a large cruise ship docks, the entire beach area is full. They also are allowed to use the facilities and the beach chairs which were all in use on one day we tried to use some. They didn’t reserve any for the actual paying customers who stay at the resort. We were extremely disappointed in that.

Other than that it was a decent vacation.

Hi Car parking was within the grounds on a flat surface as is the hotel. We didn’t have a car but it seemed easy to get in and out as there were traffic lights. Grenada is quite hilly but where the Radisson is is flat - easy access (across the road)to supermarket, bank with ATM, and pharmacy. There is a small shopping centre within a 10 minute stroll - turn right out of the hotel or from the beach turn left to the small bistro on the corner of the hotel beach and turn left up the side of this. At the end of the road turn right and follow the road around until you see the centre across the road
