Château Des Vigiers garners praise for its spacious, well-lit rooms that offer comfort, modern amenities, and picturesque views. While guests have called out the hotel's cleanliness and the elegant atmosphere, some have experienced less-than-stellar service on occasion. The property's extensive amenities, including a golf course, spa, and Michelin-starred restaurant, are frequently celebrated by travelers. However, reviewers warn that the cost of dining and certain upgrades can be on the pricier side.

I stayed here with my husband for 2 nights on an unlimited golf package which included a room in the Relais and breakfast.
The room was beautiful, well appointed and clean. The bed was large and very comfortable.
The golf was sublime! Three separate 9 holes and at times, you felt you were the only people out there!
All the staff were polite, and friendly. The food in the bistro was wonderful. My only slight complaint was the price of soft drinks in 19th and also, it wasn’t open on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Overall, a brilliant place to stay.

We stayed half Pension in Le Relais and had a superior room. The room was very spacious, equipped with every comfort, fine air conditioning which was more than welcome during the heatwave. Very friendly staff.

Some defects: only instant coffee is offered in the room, the wifi signal sometimes let us down, EV can be charged in the parking lot but payment cannot be made with usual EV payment cards (eg Shell Recharge) but with credit cards. No problem in itself, there are enough charging stations nearby that accept the usual EV payment cards

The domain is very quiet, as it were in "the middle of nowhere". Far away from the crowd, fine so for a relaxing holiday. There are plenty of castles and wineries nearby if you are not a golf enthusiast.

Breakfast was OK, dinner was a 3-course menu that certainly met the wishes. Every day a menu was proposed of which you could change 1 course for free, change 2 courses at an additional cost of 5€, change 3 courses was à la carte.

Between calm, serenity and delight......
The staff is flexible, patient and very friendly. The setting, of course, so well maintained, is admirable and ideal for experiencing true relaxation.
The room is exactly what we would expect. Concerning the restaurant Les Fresques, the 7-course “formula” transcends your taste buds

We had heard good things about this place and stayed for 3 nights on their dinner, bed and breakfast deal with golf included (approx £400 per night). The room was OK and clean but everything else is a bit sub-standard (except the chateau itself which is beautiful). Most Marriott resorts are far better and cheaper. It is also in the middle of nowhere so not particularly handy if you want to pop out for a glass of wine or bite to eat

We had a warm welcome by the reception.
We stayed at the Relais on the first floor. It was a large light room with a comfortable bed and an nice balcony.
As we noticed that there was a large group staying at the Relais, we opted to have breakfast at the Chateau (with extra charge) which we really enjoyed. Friendly staff end excellent food.
We enjoyed dinner at the Michelin star restaurant les Fresques!
The round of golf was also very enjoyable.
All in all, we had a very pleasant stay at Chateau des Vigiers

The setting is magnificent

The golf courses are very well maintained

The teams are top notch, as much for the hotel industry as for the catering and golf.

We have not tested the SPA

The rooms at the lodge are very spacious and very comfortable (we were on the ground floor)
The menus offered at the Bistrot are inspired by Michelin stars at a very reasonable price.

Good products and choice at breakfast.
Free for children, but a little expensive for adults.

If there is a small point of improvement it is perhaps on the swimming pool side. Too bad to have these barriers all around. There are certainly other solutions to secure more aesthetically.

We had a fantastic stay during Vigiers week

Thank you to the entire Château des Vigiers team for their welcome and kindness.

Had 4 fabulous nights, standsrd ground floor room with french doors onto a seating area well appointed & with coffee/tea making facilities. Comfortable bed, good air con, big bathroom. Played 3 rounds golf with buggy, the 27holes are in loops of 3 making it nice & interesting 18 hole variations & courses in great condition. Ate at the bistro every evening, there is a fixed 3 course or al a carte menu with specials & a good wine list. Lovely food & setting, on the warm nights you eat outside on patio. This hotel were really kind about my dairy allergy & were happy to adapt dishes. They also went the extra mile & got me oat milk in for breakfast to make my stay perfect.

This was our first venture out since confinement and we were feeling a litle cautious and also rather vunerable, we were thrilled to discover this hotel/restaurant has taken every possible measure to ensure the safety of their guests and of course their staff.
We had the most enjoyable lunch in Les Fresques today, the food, the wine, the ambience was all exceptional. They have just opened the newly refurbished Bistro, we had a peek in there and it looks amazing, we will be back very soon.

I booked the Relais for my husband's 50 birthday, as I wanted to surprise him with a long weekend at a golf resort.

I contacted the chateau directly, as I had some questions I wanted answers to, and I received a response within an hour. The staff have been absolutely incredible, so quick to answer all my queries, always ready to help with everything, even arranging surprise balloons, chocolate, champagne and booking us in for a meal in both their restaurants, which were also on another level.

Check-in was quick and easy, our room was on the first floor with stunning views over the golf course, super comfy bed, spotlessly clean, with lovely decor and lots of space.

The breakfast had something for everyone, a wide variety, delicious.

Overall, there's not a single negative about the entire place, their food, facilities, the stunning grounds and the staff.

I can't recommend this place enough and we're already planning our next trip back.

A gastronomic delight with friends. We opted for 3 courses but by time you have canapés, amuse bouche and ended up with beautiful chocolates this is a big meal. The sea bass was on point and crispy skin. The veal perfectly rare. And service immaculate. Expensive wines chosen by sommelier but perfect
