We've stayed here three times now, and would happily stay a fourth. The peaceful yet handy location is a big plus, as is the view across the paddocks to the bush and mountains. The units catch the morning sun very well, and they're particularly spacious. The heating was effective, and everything was clean. Unusually, in our experience, there were two sofas, not just one. The proprietor was particularly helpful to us, and the other staff members we encountered were also friendly and approachable.

this motel is just out of the village, overlooking paddocks with a view to the western ranges, an easy walk of maybe 5-10 minutes. The one-bedroomed unit was spacious with 2 x 2 seater settees, a queen size bed in the living area and 2 single beds in the bedroom. Great bathroom with a good shower. Kitchen has a microwave and 2 plate burner. Very clean. Very friendly owner who was super helpful in taking my washing off the line and hanging it on the airer when it was raining - thank you so much Allie, we had a great stay with you.

Lovely and relaxing. Plenty of space in the cottage. Peaceful and quiet. Lovely owner. Overlooking the paddocks. Laundry on site which was really handy. My partner and I walked into town, which is about 10 minutes. Couple of coffee places, 2 places to eat and the gateway to the Heaphy track.

Friendly and clean motel with all mod cons. Great bed and warm shower. Peaceful views out to farmland and just a pleasant 10 minute walk to the local shops. Perfect base to explore the area. Thanks for being a great host Alison.
