My partner and I paid a brief one night visit to the beautiful Omaka Lodge this weekend as we were in town for a family event. Upon arriving for check in Saturday afternoon our hosts Chris and Scott greeted us warmly, gave us the rundown of the property, and then lavished us with the most amazing homemade apple tart and a refreshing cup of tea. The house was amazing, the room beautifully decorated (not to mention immensely comfortable with all the amenities you could possibly want or need!), and breakfast the following morning, well what can I say... It certainly won’t be quickly forgotten, as we were overwhelmed with a plethora of homemade treats, the least of which was an incredible assortment of fruit jams and jellies made from the bounty of the property. Our only disappointment was that we weren’t able to stay longer! We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area and would recommend highly without any hesitation!

Chris and Scott have done a fantastic job setting up their Bed and Breakfast. They were welcoming hosts, and we thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay in the self contained Loft Apartment. Our breakfast was yummy with homemade bread, muesli and jams. The jams were made from fruit gathered on their property. Thank you Chris and Scott!

Six friends stayed with Chris and Scott at their fabulous home for two nights. From the time we arrived until we left they spoilt us. Afternoon teas were so yummy. Our breakfasts featured many homemade jams and homemade bread toasted also homemade muesli with several stewed fruits. Yummy Our rooms were very special not missing any special detail. Little Millie their dog was such a treat too so friendly. The gardens are delightful to walk through. A must to visit. Thanks for such a special time.

A perfect start to our Forgotten World Adventure. Chris and Scott the hosts are very friendly and welcoming. Our stay included dinner and a continental breakfast with food provided mostly from their own garden. We stayed in the loft - a beautifully decorated private self sufficient area. Designed for couples rather than a family. Highly recommend!

Scott and Chris were the epitome of the hosts with the most. They made us feel welcome and at home in their gorgeous lodge. The room was finished to the highest quality with lots of thought clearly put into even the smallest touches. I would highly recommend a stay with them, we will definitely be back.
