Lovely proprietor. Good size rooms. Nice and clean. Generous with coffee makings plates etc. Beds a little on the hard side, older style motel. Road noise a issue if not used to it...but all Tihapes accommodations are roadside so no getting around that.

Average motel. Adequate facilities. Right next to the main highway. Traffic noise could be heard all night long. Good clean room. Free wi-fi connection. No chance of getting a good night's sleep if you are not used to heavy traffic noise.

Stayed on a whim during a long drive. Very pleasant owner, sparkling rooms and bathrooms, literally the cleanest place I've ever stayed. Comfy bed, nice linen. Good TV options and fast wifi, fair prices. (Cannot believe the guy complaining below because of something outside of the owners' control.) Would stay again if passing through.

Older looking from the road our one night unit was welcoming, warm and cosy. Updated bathroom, comfortable bed, plenty of TV channels and scrupulously clean. Would definitely stay agaim. Very pleasant and helpful proprietor. If you are a light sleeper complimentary ear plugs provided to block out the passing trucks heading through the Desert Rd ahead. Personally, I am a light sleeper, didn't use ear plugs and slept like a baby . Stepped outside in the morning to a surprisingly hard frost but our unit was warm even without a heater running all night.
