Service and staff at the hotel are really great. This hotel is about 25 minutes drive from Hitachi Seaside park. Our tatami room was clean, spacious and nice. View of ocean was great. The public bath is pretty small and simple. No sauna either. It was clean, but not very relaxing. The dinner and breakfast buffets were very good. The side room with the ocean room was better for sitting than the main room. 18:00 was a bit late to start dinner with the hungry kids. Pool was closed because it was December. Beach is rocky. All in all, good place for a stop-over.
The breakfast and dinner at the hotel are very rich! A beautiful sunrise can be seen in the morning in the room facing the sea! The bath in the room can also see the sea view! The design of the room is very spacious and comfortable, and the cleaning is very clean. 飯店的早餐和晚餐都非常的豐盛！ 面對海景的房間早上可以看到美麗的日出！房間的浴池也可以看得到海景！房間的設計很寬敞很舒服，打掃也很乾淨。
We were playing golf at the Royal Club which is about half an hour's drive from Oarai and given the rooms at the course had very little to offer we decided to stay a little bit further up the coast. Very welcoming staff and typical mid tier resort hotel with its own public bath - nice bath. We stayed in the West wing with not much of a view. If you stay here insist on a room with an Ocean view. Food at the dining hall had a wide variety of selection of food. We upgraded to the Japanese restaurant as opposed to the buffet style that was included with our accommodation. The hotel does its best to try to accommodate and if you ever need to stay somewhere in this part of Ibaraki this could well be your only and best option. Thank you.
Very efficient hotel meaning: Toothpaste- just enough for a brush n the morning and a brush at night. Every inch of the room will be used so if you are an American Traveler needing space, you may have a difficult time. It's a hotel for short term stays. Handsoaps and bath soaps are wonderfully scented. You can tell the quality is unmatched.
Stayed here only 1 night but found staff to be friendly and hospitable. Guest rooms were clean (but small of course) with beautiful view of the ocean. Hotel is well kept for an older hotel. Breakfast buffet area was extremely crowded in the morning so recommend going right when it opens. Food offered was traditional Japanese, but also a few Western items.
