We had very good times. It was very complicated to book dinner with many tourists during public holidays, but rest of things was amazing. (Maybe a room we stayed was not used for long time… ) this week, hotel rooms were almost full every days after a corona break, so the hotel had to deal with so much things. There is no stores in this town, so babies should bring enough diapers. Good for families. Hope to come back again.

We had a fantastic experience at Hoshino Tomamu Tower. We were delighted with Room size, and activities abound. We skied and used rental equipment at the Tower. Snow Shoe walking was fabulous. Breakfast was amazing each morning. We found the surrounding restaurants too expensive, but the shop sells instant noodles and soup which we had many nights.

Very nice hotel and resort. Highly recommended to ski lovers. The ski zone just next to the hotel and rental area is the ground floor in the hotel. The view of the hotel room is super nice. Can see sunrise inside the hotel room. The breakfast taste is good also. The hotel provided the free activities such as ice village, Mina Mina beach and terrace of frost tree for visitors. The room is very clean. Highly recommended for vacation in here. <3

We stayed at Hoshino Resort Tomamu in 2019. Experience was ok, but this year, the service here is a BIG disappointment. First of all, Room Clean-up service was almost non existing. We stayed 4 nights here, and had to call reception for 1 clean-up. Even then, it was a shoddy job, almost like just changing towels and emptying bins. The biggest disappintment was after, we checked out, while waiting for our bus, which will leave in about an hours’ time, we decided to have instant noodles as lunch. Our bus will leave at 12.40pm and arrive only abt 3pm. However, we were told that we ARE NOT ALLOWED to eat instant noodles at the lounge, and to eat it in our rooms. This was a shock to us, because we have seen tons of tourist eat instant noodles at the lounge. When we explained that we had checked out and just waiting for bus, she maintained we are not allowed to eat in the lounge. When I asked for the notice of this rule, waitress just showed us a hand-written note on a piece of paper. Hoshino Resort Tomamu is a big disappointment and I will never stay here again or recommend it to friends

Had an outstanding time at Hoshino Tomamu The Tower with the whole family. The kids loved the snow sledding park, mina mina beach and the ice village and the adults loved the ski in ski out and the onsen. There was endless activities available to keep everyone happy for the 6 days that we were there.

Food wise there was a big variety of restaurants like ramen, soup curry, Genghis Khan, donburi, pasta, burger. Prices were also much more affordable than Niseko. Wished we could have had dinner at the dining hal though, that was booked out when we were there.

The hotel room was large with both a living and a sleeping area. Views from the tower was amazing. We could catch sunrise, see the ski slope s and even the fireworks at the ice village every night.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again

Stayed for 5 nights. Enough snow though it was only early season. It offered many skiing routes, many eateries, open air bath, indoor pool and many activities you and the kids could join. It's one of the best ski resorts. The cons would be the price and the crowdedness.

Fabulous views of the slopes and comfortable rooms. These is no restaurant on site but many in walking distance. While the slope side restaurants are picturesque, getting there can be treacherous. My friend slipped on ice and needed medical attention which the staff went out of their way to organise.
This is a beautiful resort but not exactly ski in, ski out. Two flights of stairs from the lockers to the snow are challenging if you’re carrying an injury.

The resorts main lift is out of action !! And had been for over two weeks with no update on when it will be fixed !! They only have six lifts and only two that service the top of the mountain for the experts. Limited runs already but to have the main quad chair down means everyone has to ski to the bottom and get the old slow gondola which doesn’t go as high !! Means you really get half the runs you would normally get in and question why you bother ! The snow is quite good having had 30-40 cms over the last 4 days but you can’t get to it !!

Very nice ski resort, which a must visit in season winter in Hokkaido. Famous with its snow powder, this resort has top notch facilities to enjoy our whole holiday times. Resto, ski tracks, cable car, jacuzzi, anything you name it. And of course, excellent breakfast buffet. 👍👍

The twin room is not so big, there are 2 space in the room, bed room only for 2 single bed and small living room, although the sofa can become a single bed. If you happen to go there in the winter time, there’s no extra blanket in the room.

Email Hoshino Ski team directly, they can help if possible. Unfortunately Dec is indeed peak season. Club Med shares the same slope as Hoshino.

I booked the room package that comes with daily breakfast and ski passes. A good breakfast last us till mid afternoon, then some light snacks before we head out for dinner. I brought along biscuits and soup sachets. Can buy drinks, bread and fruits at the airport's convenience store that lasted us 2-3 days.
