Spent five days at this hotel and the experience was more than perfect for a three star hotel. Rooms were large and attractive and well furnished. Staff was brilliant and always willing to help. The star of this property is the private beach just seconds awat from the hotel. Perfect place to relax and enjoy open views of the sea. Breakfast was not lavish but good enough with a variety of pastries and cereals . on site bar makes great coffee and ideal for an aperitivo before haeding out. Location is also perfect and on the lungomare, less then 10 minute walk to the center of Ragusa. Excellent restaurants also very close to the hotel
Really could not find fault with the hotel and recommend it fully. Will definately be returning

I state that we stayed from 16 to 23 June and perhaps for them the season has not yet begun because the turnout at the beach was low, but this does not justify services that still need to be improved.
Family-run beachfront hotel with several foreign waiters some novices, lacks waiting staff for a better management of tables and restaurant service.
In the morning breakfast is full of sweet and savory very easy but already at 8:20 several things (especially croissants) are finished and are not replaced except with classic cakes.
Lunch and dinner are buffet style but also in this case there is a bit to improve since first of all queues are created already at the entrance (at opening times each time a waiter must entrust each room with the table and create inutli queues) and at the opening of the buffet, where, as for breakfast, after less than half an hour from the opening several dishes are finished and are not replaced.
The food is varied every day but in the end they are always the same things maybe cooked in different ways.
Our room was absolutely not up to the situation since we were 2 adults 1 infant and 1 4-year-old girl we expected a larger room instead they gave us a very small room, it looked like a double with the addition of bed and cot that did not move.
The very small bathroom, and especially the lack of balcony to hang towels and costumes has a little disturbed us.
Even the position above the bar hearing the cries of all those who passed both to go to the room and who remained to chat in the yard having small children was not optimal for a good rest.
Animation service practically non-existent with only 1 animator who on the beach does not propose and practically does nothing except an aperitif game not even advertised and baby dance in the evening very scarce... we have never remained beyond the baby dance so I do not know what could propose being 1 animator alone.
Beach service with good umbrellas and sunbeds, shower and small pine forest but you can not open at 9 am.... too late!
We were unfortunately in the week when the seaweed had invaded the shoreline right in front of the hotel umbrellas and no one wanted to remove them, amid the complaints of guests for not being able to enter the water and the bad smell.
After so many complaints and after writing to the mayor and the harbor master, 2 days after our departure the algae were removed and we saw a real clear Sicilian sea!
There's no bar at the beach.
The hotel is located on the seafront and is about 500/600 meters from the center of Ragusa marina but easily accessible with pedestrian cycle path along the beach for pleasant walks even in the evening. (Maybe you would need a shuttle or train especially for older people or in the day during hot hours since it is a walk in complete sunshine).
Acceptable structure for a 3 star but should improve all the above described because people really score a lot and should definitely renovate a little inside some rooms a bit dated and the elevator that is nothing but a freight elevator adapted perhaps not even so much to standard.

Hotel 20 meters from the beach, served by a private beach, with pedestrian crossing, with entertainment, in treatment of only B & B, Full Pension or Half Pension
Right size rooms, exceptional cleanliness (the scent you smell as soon as you enter reception is the right business card).
Reception always manned and friendly staff.
Hearty and varied cuisine, far too much for a 3 star
I would recommend some lighter dishes due to the heat of the resort.
The staff is the strong point: there was no request that was not followed: from the kitchen (dishes for my daughter who had not found things available liking), to the lounge (moved the table for convenience, efficient and kind waiting staff), the room, reception, entertainment.
I guess I never got a denial.
We celebrated my birthday and another anniversary and ALL contributed to the success of both events.
Obviously there are those who will be able to make criticisms, but I have never found staff so available to listen to them and take note of any improvements to be made.

A heartfelt thanks to everyone: from the director, to the head of animation, to the animation, to the kitchen, to the room boys, to the housekeeper, to the reception girls, I hope I have not forgotten anyone. We had a great time
See you next year!

Bad village!
We were welcomed by the wild cats lying on the outdoor table and chairs, the same that we should have used for breakfast in the morning me and my (pregnant) wife. In the kitchen instead were master cockroaches and ants in the evening, despite the fact that we had never cooked (we always ate out). In the room instead they hosted spiders and webs that reminded who knows which one it was.
The bathroom then? Perhaps the limestone remover has never seen it...
Basically? We moved up the departure by a day because my wife was impatient (I too actually).
The joke is that I had to leave him even € 50 for the final cleaning of the room, the same that maybe he never received seriously!

Ideal structure for families where there is only one pedestrian crossing that leads comfortably to the private beach. It is well-kept and has only a few rows so you can enjoy the nearby sea.
I would recommend providing a bathroom next to the showers in the future, which is essential for those with children.
The hotel's cuisine is buffet style and very varied. Excellent first courses with local specialties and the typical Sicilian evening with very good cannoli and arancini.
Thorough daily room cleaning and rooms equipped with drying rack / TV / hairdryer and fridge. The entertainment was the element that enriched the holiday even more: young kids, really nice and nice to families and children. A special round of applause for the evening shows with constant preparation.
Congratulations to the management and the entire staff for making us enjoy 15 wonderful days! Silvia and Gaetano with Martina and Arianna

Disastrous breakfast: scrambled eggs with sugar, raw eggs instead of hard-boiled, non-existent coffee and ditto orangeade... I don't know what happened... but avoid breakfast at all costs! Modest room, clean but Czech bathroom... too expensive compared to the service provided. Negative

For some years we return with pleasure to this property, which offers ideal services for families, as well as great, tasty and varied food.
The pride is the private beach in front of the hotel with a small refreshment point very useful and welcome.
Excellent cleanliness of the rooms.
The animation guys filled our days with their enthusiasm.

Clean structure, surrounded by greenery a stone's throw from the beach. Friendly polite staff. I found the breakfast to be of a higher level than a 3 star, with fresh biscuits and homemade tarts and in any case well prepared and plentiful (I don't understand the previous comments), both sweet and savory, highly recommended for the strategic position.

After 7 years that I frequent the Bay of the Sun it seems right to do this review. Baia del sole for us is like being with family, you find kindness, availability and many smiles. Director Marco you will find him everywhere, always ready to meet any need, a person with a marked sensitivity, discreet but always with an eye on everything so that everything is perfect for his guests. At the hotel reception you will be greeted with a smile by girls like Susie and Valentina to whom I am most fond ❤️ but they are all kind and helpful. The rooms are large and clean and equipped with all comforts (greetings to the cleaning ladies! ), great food, and 'a 3 star but chef Cristian never misses anything, in the evening there is also dessert ! In the room there are very kind and super fast waiters with service, (hi Jessica!!) The sea is beautiful, there is the equipped and private beach just across the street, in front of the hotel. You'll find the lifeguards Stefano and Vittorio, super! Last but not least: animation!! The village head Alberto Pistacchia , his wife Serena Basilico and the boys ( Dominik, Francesco, Miriana, Gaia, Sara , Lorenzo) will fill your days and evenings with games on the beach, dancing and beautiful shows. Greetings to the maintainers, the village boys (hi Emma , the legendary Vincenzo, Anastasia and others that I definitely forget). On very windy days you can take advantage of the beautiful swimming pool located inside the village .. what about more .. happy holidays!!

Great service, we were a group of 50 people all highly satisfied to the point of wanting to return next year with more people. Reception efficient, competent and always friendly; dining room available without hesitation especially way of chef Christian ready for any request, excellent cuisine. Clean rooms, always ready maintainers, well-guarded beach and cheered by good music with quiet corners under the plants equipped with armchairs and sofas. A special thanks to Marco who with a smile and sympathy won over the whole group.
