Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This review can be summed up in one word. "Excellent" Spotlessly clean, a good breakfast, good views from the room. The host was very helpful with her knowledge of local walks, and attractions. Am only too happy to recommend this B&B to other travellers.

When arriving at most B&B’s you never know what to expect, Highlands is a well presented, friendly home from home with views to die for. The bedroom is exceptionally well laid out and comfortable with lots of little details to help, rather than little sachets or pots of coffee a jar of nice coffee and some snack bars if you get peckish, in the bathroom where the hot water is instant at all times of day with powerful shower Radox is waiting for you. The cooked breakfast was stunning and the home made bread fantastic.

We were made welcome and shown to our lovely room. Plenty of space, great views over the estuary and meticulously clean. The host has a list of restaurants and phone numbers. She recommended that we should book which turned out to be good advice when being turned away on our second night. It is well situated to visit coastal properties both north west and south and we could have stayed longer if we'd had the time. Would definitely recommend and happily return.

Well located in a quiet spot midway between Pembroke Dock and Pembroke, within easy walking distance of both. The room was large, bright and comfortable with every amenity. Breakfast, cooked to order, was superb. Good on-site parking and very good wifi. The owner could not have been more helpful and gave us excellent tips on places to visit, where to park and so forth.

Stayed here over the bank holiday weekend. The owner was very friendly and lent us books on local castles and gave us tips on the area. The room was so clean especially the bathroom. The breakfast was nice and the bread was homemade. It is in a residential area and has lovely views. But having been into Pembroke Dock I'd rather be at highfield than in town! Has parking and everything we needed. Lovely.

We stayed in Highfield on our way to Cardiff to watch a Rugby Match, following a ferry trip from Rosslare. Highfield is easily accessible from the dock, meaning we avoided all the traffic to Cardiff off the boat and travelled up the following morning before the match. The room was spacious with a beautiful view of the river and garden as well as having the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! The room had all the required amenities and breakfast was delicious! A great choice.

I've had the pleasure of two stays this year while away on business. I was very well looked after on both occations. Nothing is too much trouble for the host/ owner. Comfortable, quiet and clean large room with en-suit. Not far from Pembroke Town and Castle with off road parking. Very good choice for breakfast, including a freshly cooked full English. Beautiful evening views of the estuary and Castle. Very highly recommended!

The reception was very professional and friendly. our room was excellent and had every comfort., after arrival the owner came to our room with freshly baked brownies to go with our tea/coffee (provided in the room) breakfast was beautifully set out with a menu to choose from also home made freshly baked bread. what more can you ask for! overall we cannot speak to highly of this establishment.
