The structure is very beautiful and functional.
The rooms are in a small, artfully built village amidst lots of lush greenery.
The sea is 100 meters away and can be accessed comfortably via a wooden platform that reaches the large beach, which is kept very clean and plowed every morning.
Being in a nature reserve is already an added value in itself.
Frankly I can't share the negative reviews on the quality of the food. I gained two kilos while tasting the excellent fish cuisine (amberjack, redfish, swordfish, etc, etc.) prepared by the chefs (3 first courses and 2 second courses for both lunch and dinner). The wine is excellent even if on tap as some of the best Sicilian wineries are located a stone's throw from the hotel.
I took the "guest" package which reserves both a seat on the beach and a table in the restaurant but which is only repaid with the magnificent gourmet dinner and entry into the SPA.
But a special mention goes to all the workers of the structure: from the delivery boys to the maître. It's true that the kindness of the staff is the calling card for structures like this, but here the innate sense of Sicilian hospitality was tangible; the pride and sincere passion for their work was palpable.
A sincere thank you for your hospitality.

Before writing my review, allow me to give some advice so that it can be useful, hoping not to upset those who respond to the reviews 😅. I must say that I entered the facility very angry because I arrived at 2pm and was not allowed to enter the facility until 2.30pm, remaining in the car under the scorching sun with my family. I understand that I was early, but it would be nice to perhaps have people sign in and wait in the hall rather than in the car under the sun. Second piece of advice: since the gazebos in pool are always taken, you should equip the pool with more umbrellas and do some entertainment in the morning there too and not just on the beach. Third tip: include nautical services since you pay for a club card.
Having said this, I must say that the Sikania is a really nice resort from all points of view, it seems like a small, tidy and clean town on the sea. The rooms are nice and clean, the staff is friendly, the food from breakfast to dinner is of far superior to the average of the sometimes even more advertised villages, as far as the entertainment is concerned which is really numerous, you can see that there are many kids at their first experience, but with their friendliness and dedication (they are tireless) you don't notice it and above all they are led by a great professional like the head entertainer Salvo Spinello. Mention for the skill and friendliness of DJ Zizzo. As mentioned, I went in angry and left sad, but because I really enjoyed my time at Sikania. Therefore for me it deserves 5 stars and I recommend it to everyone and I hope to return soon.

The hotel complex is nice and very well maintained. The rooms are functional and very clean.
The location of the hotel is nice by the sea, but around it is just nothing. The nearest towns are 15 and 17 km away. Going somewhere else for a quick meal is extremely difficult. Access to the hotel is on a gravel road!
We are not very demanding about food, however we found the food and atmosphere in the dining room terrible. The food is cold, the salad buffet consists of ice salad, grated carrots, tomatoes and greasy corn every day at lunch and dinner. Salad dressing are packets for salt, pepper, oil, vinegar. All in small portion bags. There are pasta dishes every day, the sauces are usually watery and thickened with starch, not very flavorful. Even at the starter buffet little variety, mostly daily repetitions.
The breakfast is very clear, here you get plastic spoons and plastic cups. There are no juices, you can let out sweetened drinks from the drinks machine, which are also available for lunch and dinner.

First you need a 4x4 or Jeep to get there, as the road has more holes than the Emmental. The structure is beautiful and done really well. When we arrived they immediately charged us (then you will understand why...). On our first day we immediately noticed stains of red liquid (blood or what should have been) on the floor. The second bed had blue spots on the sheet and destroyed corners (it looks like someone had been hungry, as eating is really inedible). Already the first night the food was disgusting: potatoes seasoned with too much lemon, as if the chef dropped a dozen lemons in the pot, Vegetables that tasted like nothing, the chef cooking outside on the grill, THROWING the sausage with a charred sauce on the plate and cakes with cottage cheese that had the consistency of cream and the taste, of course, of lemon. On the second day at lunch, I REFUSED to eat. If I may say so, the food really sucked. Out of 14 meals (without breakfast), at only TWO MEALS there were edible things. 10x better the menza!! The gourmet dinner really loses its meaning: from the appetizer, which tasted all the same, to the dessert still frozen and hard as a stone. The natural water they served, tasted like a pool! You could only drink sparkling water for a week, if you did not want to go and pay every single time, for a bottle of still water at the bar. Not to mention the “Coca Cola” that tasted like chinotto. Some of the animation was very kind and very funny. In particular: Alex: who conducted most of the activities during the day, and who made funny jokes, Matteo: always very funny and very nice and Karmen: also super nice and always available. Every day there are darts tournaments in the water, table tennis, volleyball and occasionally football, basketball, tennis and many other activities. There are football, basketball and tennis courts. That, however, you have to walk a couple of 100m under the sun to get there, without any means of transport. But they are rewarded by playing one of those sports in really good fields. The sea is full of algae and one morning no one entered the water, given the massive amount of algae that were in the sea. We paid a “Guest plus” package for private straio, but they were always occupied by the same people every time. We asked if we could reserve a deckchair for a pregnant woman, as the deckchairs in the pool immediately fill up like a glass of water after eating, and were told it was “impossible”. The pool, our last two days at Sikania, was very dirty since, the last two days there was a lack of water and no clean water came out anywhere. People came up from the beach dirty with sand and could not wash. Some people had to wash themselves with water from bottles. The Buffet, on the last day, had to open almost 45min later, with an endless queue in front of the entrance to the buffet, given the lack of water.
Rather spend €100 more, and have a better holiday somewhere else!

They pretend to be Eco Resort - who is not sure what it is - maybe the sign that declares a water emergency on the island but then decides to have the structure fully booked?
Or perhaps because of the scarce amount of water used for cleaning rooms? Maybe 5 minutes for a quadruple...
The quality of the food is bad, repetitive, endless lines for both lunch and dinner, canteen style after work, the bad acoustics resonate so loud that you do not hear the voice of those sitting in front of you.
When at dinner there is something on the grill - so far 2 nights out of 5 - in the whole room the unbreathable air and full of smoke that enters through the wide open windows on the hall!
The eco-resort has a beach - with sunbeds and umbrellas for an additional fee -
wide to the right of the access walkway maybe 3 meters. The beach is completely downhill with a slope of 70% practically you have to hold us not to slip on the ground .... If you would also like to take advantage of the shadow of the station you have paid then you just have to place the towel on the ground. Towel with deposit of 20 euros per piece lysis and with holes. On the left the beach has a single row to understand when it is ‘narrow ... to the left of the boardwalk instead everything changes and the rows of sunbeds and umbrellas ALWAYS EXTRA PAYMENT are even 2! So the photos of the beach you see you don't know where I got them.
The only positive note is the comfort of the beds and pillows.
Vote: 2, 1 for beds and one for pillows.
Ps: the blind bathroom does not even have the ventilation fan

we were in this village in the last week of July 2023, it should be noted that I have already been to this village 3 years ago and I returned thinking of finding the same environment but unfortunately it was not like this. the village itself is well structured with beautiful swimming pool beautiful rooms located along an avenue well surrounded by greenery but as regards the services, terrible as the sports fields are decadent like the beach I volleyball on the beach with the net all broken not to mention the ping pong table all broken and only one considering the amount of people who frequent the village every week then the indecent beach with the first two rows paid and only one row available having a very large beach to exploit but evidently they are interested in making money and not making more sunbeds available as it is payment for the use of the broken pedal among other things and the canoe is an absurd thing given that you pay for a service card at the entrance, another thing that has changed for the worse is the disappearance of the refrigerated water fountains along the avenue for the rooms and the dispensers drinks are only present at meals so if you want to drink water during the day you have to go to the bar to pay. last sore point the restaurant this year was a total disappointment eating very poor quality and dishes always proposed in a different form (e.g. the porchetta was given to us first healthy, then the next day already sliced in sauce and the day after tomorrow diced and made with vegetables). As regards the entertainment, unfortunately the kids do what they can to make the holiday fun but being a group of kids who are just starting out experience they do what they can but all in all good guys and approachable. considering the worsening of the organization of this structure I don't think I'll go back again but I'll give you some advice I think it doesn't take much to fix the things that aren't right you just need to put in a little effort.

We stayed in this village from 21/07/24 to 04/08/24 with two boys aged 14 and 19. The day of arrival we were handed almost immediately the room on the ground floor comfortable modern and spacious the only flaw is that the bathroom lacked the shower door so we flooded the bathroom a little. Very concentrated village with everything within walking distance, you move quickly from the pool to the beach, beauty center, restaurant etc. so very convenient. Suitable for disabled and for children with stroller. Very nice green. Excellent Future welcome with Joana always present in everything you need. Sea often rough but remains with beautiful colors, it is not worth spending money for the first rows because the sea often takes away the beach and in a row there is barely one, so the sunbeds in front of the dune are often empty you have no difficulty having to elbow, more difficult in the pool but something is always found. Varied and good food, Recommendation to book the table otherwise this becomes a stress on vacation. Nice animators although for those who do two weeks Recommendation to do different shows and not always the same, otherwise it becomes boring. My boys had fun with Laura the legendary Augusto DJ and many others. Beautiful evening at the beach with the beach party and pleasant super aperitif on the beach. For this Recommendation the Top Futura package that allows you a trip to the Spa with sea view, wonderful. The area is ventilated so you do not suffer the scorching heat. As for the excursions the only one of the sea is Scala dei Turchi which is not much, you struggle to swim, the remaining excursions are on land and if it is hot they are not feasible.

I'm writing this review with the same emotion I felt during my stay. We felt at home. They were magnificent days. Enchanting structure with all the services available to spend a worry-free holiday.
Very sweet welcome at the reception with lots of harmony and smiles, modern and clean rooms with veranda, restaurant with a vast choice of meat or fish buffet for both lunch and dinner, staff in the restaurant very very kind, ironic and available for any need, The management of the bottle with pre-established lunch and dinner times was also excellent, thanks to Benedetta and Carmela I had no problem managing my little one's meals. Beach within walking distance equipped with pedestrian walkway, making it easier for me to get on and off while walking on the beach with the stroller. Miniclub with the sweet Melissa and Martina with various wonderful activities. The animation? What can I say... if I close my eyes and think about the days spent with the legendary great excellent extraordinary entertainers who made my holiday magnificent, I feel anguish that I would immediately like to return to Sikania. Salvo Spinello was great at organizing everything, Salvone with his dancing and his ways made us have a lot of fun, not to mention Alberto with his particular dancer moves that I still laugh at when I think about it. Erika, Francesca, Andrea, Mara all very good with the various activities organized in this village you never get bored!! Very varied and entertaining evening shows. When the day of departure arrived we didn't want to leave, and this shows how good we felt. To the point that during check out I asked at reception if we could stay for dinner and the evening show, unexpectedly my request by paying a little more was accepted and I was even moved, because I really didn't expect it. Good hearted and wonderful director.
In short, in short, I highly recommend this property

Village that does not deserve the price paid at all. To start with, hours of waiting at the reception to check in with listless and unsmiling staff, almost non-existent services, everything for a fee, the first two rows of umbrellas also for a fee after paying for club cards. The animation isn't the best, but the kids are very young so it's ok. The structure is nice and also well-kept, not very large and therefore not distracting even for children, one of the few positive notes.
Worst restaurant experience, starter buffet the same for an entire week, food re-presented with a few garnishes so as not to make it clear that it was from the day before... waiters who were not at all friendly the first evenings we even had to set the table ourselves. Not to mention the Sicilian evening... what a shame! Little and nothing Sicilian is bad too 😵 💫 with the usual recycled buffet.. the only acceptable thing you could eat were desserts and also breakfast. For the rest I have to say that I am very disappointed and I don't think we will ever return. Furthermore, we had our little dog with us for which I paid €180😳😳😳 to have a hygiene mat per day, a bowl (I had to request another one because in addition to eating.. he drinks🤣) a snack and a roll of bags for collecting waste. I paid more for him than for the club cards😅.
What I appreciated was the presence of a tobacconist inside the structure with a wide choice of wines and typical products too, unfortunately it was closed on Saturday evening and we were unable to purchase what we had intended.

Nice village for cleanliness, we had a good time but not enough, the assistance from Fortuna was not good, in fact very bad. Poorly organized entertainment, the young kids, always cute, but novices without any coordination, the manager Roberta not very experienced. We arrived in the morning and we had no assistance in finding the rooms, once registered we had to carry our suitcases ourselves and look for the room, they didn't even tell us how the village works, we discovered at the bar that we had to buy a prepaid card to being able to pay in the various bars. We did 2 excursions, too expensive given the service that was described (we didn't have a guide when we arrived), Roberta's response was terrible, we had to organize the excursion ourselves. During the holiday we had no entertainment, in fact only certain hours and if it rained you had to go to your room, they were not organized in case of rain, the indoor spaces were too small for the capacity of the guests. The food is always the same, almost never hot, lots of unhappy waiters. Terrible experience, last morning they give us a breakfast package with ants inside, we are told "it can happen", shameful, they could have saved this response. Arriving at the airport, without any Fortuna representative, we discover that we are not registered for the flight and we have to wait when they call us, first experience with Fortuna but we will never return to their villages. I would recommend presenting this village as a hotel, not a 4-star one, next to the sea, not at all nice, with a beach, small for a fee, with entertainment in time slots, not for everyone but only for families with small children or people of one certain age. Too expensive for the services you get, isolated from the villages, unless you go by car, with few leisure choices outside the village, unless you go on excursions organized by them, very expensive and not very satisfying.
