Detailed Reviews
Feels like home frome the first minute, great room with a view of the vegetable garden. Own livingroom with TV, complentary hot and cold drinks and breakfast for the next morning. The host is just lovely, it feels if youre part of the family. Best sleep since weeks, after sunset just darkness and quiet (sometimes a you can hear a sheep)

Located at Marinui Road 3 1 RD , Tokanui , Southland, Quarry Hills 9884, New Zealand and well off the main road, this working farm offers a very different style of accommodation
There are two bedrooms, one double and two single bed configurations. There is a shared lounge Bathroom and toilet. All very nice, clean and modern. Breakfast is included and made up of serials, juices tea and coffee plus a small coffee machine for the real thing.
As the weather tends to be cooler at this time of year the heaters work well and the beds are warm when under the thick covers.
There is parking, nice gardens and if you want or are interested you can see the farm in action. We went to the shearing sheds and watched the action.
Internet is available but can be a little troublesome but it works. The bathroom is located on the lower story so it is a little journey down the stairs in the middle of the night.
The owners a really nice people and Judy was informative and very helpful.
If you are in the area it is worth considering.
