Beautiful setting, beautiful, people, delicious food. Sooooo relaxing and an excellent spot to return after a day of activity in Abel Tasmen! The hot tub was especially appreciated and it doesn’t hurt to have the view of Kaiteriteri Beach laid out in front of you. The accommodation was super comfortable and private. I think every room has a phenomenal view and lovely to be able to park one car next to the room. Very thoughtfully designed for relaxation. We would absolutely return to Kimi Ora.

This was our first time at Kimiora and I hope it won’t be our last. We had a studio room with a stunning view, nestled up on the hillside with the birds and trees. Everything from the room, to the pool complex, restaurant, breakfast, walks and fitness trail was superb. Oh and the massage! I think what makes Kimiora unique is the fact you can use the facilities from 12pm on the day you book in (room available from 3pm), and until 4pm on the day you check-out (must vacate room by 10:30am). So you actually have 28 hours in which to relax in the complex, not just the room you paid for. You can also BYO food AND they do day passes. Perfect if you just want a day out!

What a fabulous place! Beautiful lodges in bush where the bird song was fantastic. Great views down to Kaiteriteri from our lounge area / deck. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. Swam in the sea every day so didn’t use the pools but it looked lovely. Enjoyed the glow worm walk. Staff were amazing - without exception they were friendly and helpful, going above and beyond. Wish we could have stayed longer.

What a fabulous place. It has a lovely relaxed feel, is nicely decorated and stunning views. The pool area is perfect for relaxing and the breakfast was great too. The apartments are very well equipped if you want to cook. We also had a massage in the spa which was really good. The staff here are all really friendly and helpful and it’s a lovely place to just take a breath and relax when travelling. Kaiteriteri is a great little place too and it’s an easy 15 minute walk down into town to the beach/ restaurants and activities.

What an amazing experience! We live locally and have always wanted to stay at Kimi Ora, we finally did and were not disappointed at all. The rooms are beautiful and tidy, comfy beds. The views are magnificent. It is such a peaceful experience, with the sounds of nature and being hidden amongst the native trees. We purchased a package that included a spa treatment and dinner which I would recommend, it’s like having the full experience! The walking tracks are well maintained and the glow worms are a must see. I would recommend a stay here to anyone and everyone.

Great. Everything perfect. Very friendly staff and good meals with a lot of gluten-free options. The Chalet was big with super views down to the sea. Guest Laundry available. In the evening you can walk a recommendable and easy glow-worms walk. Plenty of them.

We stayed 2 nights at this lodge and it offers wow views of Kaiteriteri and the beach from atop a hill. Our room had magnificent views from the main bedroom and the small 2nd bed area. Large kitchenette and living room area ( the only critique is the carpet didn’t seem to fit the wood interior vibe). There is a small walking path that leads to the road to the beach only a 15 minute walk. The boat shuttle picks up from that beach front to take you into the Abel Tasman Park. Although only 65 F , we went into the estuary and swam which was fabulous. It’s a very quaint beach area and we enjoyed the eatery that looks out at the beach and the very popular bar nearby. Food in the hotel restaurant is excellent! Breakfast included in the room fee was very generous. We loved Abel Tasman, the beach and we’re very happy with our choice of lodging in Kaiteriteri!
