We booked a 2 bedroom unit for Queens Birthday weekend and were lucky enough to be upgraded, for free, into a sea view unit (and what jaw dropping views they were). These motels are in the most gorgeous setting with native birdlife abound, a short walk from beautiful Little Kaiteriteri beach. Our unit was modern, immaculately clean and had everything we could ever need (including a washing machine). The hosts were delightful, super helpful, while also respecting your privacy. Thanks Christine and Lance for an amazing weekend. We would definitely recommend these motels over any other accommodation options within Kaiteriteri, and are already planning a return visit.

Recently stayed in a two bedroom apartment for one night. It was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The separate toilet was very handy when travelling with a big group! Good location, and nice views off the balcony towards Little Kaiteriteri beach. Can imagine it would be a nice place to spend several days.

Decided to have a quiet night away in Kaiteriteri. Found Torlesse online and had good reviews. Room was roomy and well presented. Well equipped kitchen. We were upgraded for free as it was a special occasion, which was very nice of the owners. Overall I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay

The Torless Motels are fantastic value very clean and warm.Well equiped units. We loved the spa.Loved watching the tuis flitting in and around the beautiful kept native gardens. We spent four nights here. The staff extremely helpful we had Ange for our cantact and she was very bright and friendly. You can walk around to Main Kaiteriteri beach via a track over the hill with fantastic views. We dined in the Kai restaurant a couple of times then walked back to Torlesse just awesome.Being winter time was great as you can wander the quiet beaches listen to the Tuis and wood pidgeons which there are heaps of talk to the locals or just soak up this awesome spot.We will be back to stay again at the Torlesse motels as there is so much to do in this area.

A great place to stay! A really enjoyable family stay for 4 nights. Facilities, location, and the level/warmth of hospitality provided all come together to ensure a great accommodation offer. Just got back to the UK, from a long family holiday in NZ, but already planning the next. A lot of places still to see, but Kaiteriteri and a stay at Torlesse would be likely to feature again!
