Ideally placed between the Cap Ferret and Arcachon, located in a central quiet district of Andernos-les-Bains and very appreciated by the squirrels. Each guest room at La Villa Herbert is a wooden lodge like fishermen's huts of bassin d’Arcachon, bathroom with shower and private toilets. Some lodges are set on 2 levels, a well-kept decoration, individual entrance and a wooden privative terrace.Side “farniente”, you can relax in our big swimming pool close to the palm trees when the season allows it. For the most dynamic, we propose you an on-the-spot bicycle hire which will allow you to take advantage of the big network of bicycle paths surrounding bassin d’Arcachon.

Detailed Reviews
We spent three nights at Villa Herbert. Even though this was not during the peak season (end of September), the place was fully booked. Rightfully so as the place offers a nice pool, hot tub, very friendly owners, good breakfast and modern & spacious rooms. If a point of potential improvement could be mentioned, it would be that there’s little in the way of sound insulation between the different rooms, i.e. it’s easy to understand what the neighbors are saying.

We spent 3 nights at Villa Herbert from September 28 to October 1.
We were very well received. Audrey and Jean Bernard take great care to satisfy the needs of their guests and are very good company.
The cottage is located 5 minutes from the city center by car, in a quiet area.
The room and common areas are perfect. In terms of equipment, nothing is missing: swimming pool, jacuzzi, collective kitchen, etc.
Bikes are available free of charge and even backpacks and many other things.
As for the breakfasts, almost everything is homemade.
There is no doubt that on our next visit to Andernos, we will return there.

Warm welcome by the 2 owners with a visit and explanation of the place.
Nice room in a small chalet.
Delicious breakfast with homemade products that change every day.
Every morning Audrey (the owner) advises us on excursions to do in the region and it is very successful.
Garden with 11 meter swimming pool and SPA
with deckchairs.
I recommend this guest room, you can go there with your eyes closed.

Bed and Breakfast . Clean room, well equipped (fridge wifi), spacious. Located a little away from the center (2-3 km) in the residential area.
The hosts provide bicycles for free (but no helmets) and even allow use by boat to Arcacon or Cap Ferret, so no worries, we access very quickly to the center by the nearby bike path with no elevation gain, it is ultra flat. On the other hand if it rains or if you have small children, it is less convenient (no bikes for small ones) you have to take the car back.
Beautiful well heated pool and cleanly appointed surroundings + jacuzzi. Sufficient deckchairs.
Very friendly hosts, decent breakfast.
Beautiful address at a reasonable Award for the Arcachon Basin which becomes prohibitive.

On the occasion of a weekend in the region, we stopped off in the Villa Herbert, in every respect met expectations, from reception to departure, nothing to complain about. A big thank you to the owners for their kindness and availability .

+1
We returned to Andernos les Bains and we chose the Bed and Breakfast "Villa Herbert" where Audrey and Jean-Bernard welcomed us very warmly...There have been a lot of changes since our last visit, they have made a lot of work to beautify this magnificent garden and we quickly felt at ease there... Every morning I was able to enjoy the scrambled eggs but also the good pastries that Audrey lovingly made for us (such as cannelés, pancakes, fruit cakes etc...) Honestly nothing to complain about except that I would come back when I am in the region...Patricia from Alsace
