This is quite possibly one of the best hotels, big and small, that we’ve stayed in. A brilliantly friendly and customer orientated hotel which leaves you truly relaxed in the lovely resort of Andernos-les-Bains.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and had a full understanding of the need to apply both cleanliness and social distancing in today’s current climate.

From the moment I was considering booking to the time we left Damion and his team were extremely helpful and nothing was too much.

The breakfast was nicely presented in the very relaxed surroundings of the pool, which in itself is great.

This boutique hotel definitely ticked all of the boxes and I would recommend to anyone wanting a holiday at a hotel with a great location and good facilities.

Our stay at L’Anderenis in the Mascaret room was perfect! What a fabulous spot! Our balcony overlooking the Bassin d’Arcachon was a bonus, but all the rooms are perfectly decorated to create a nice and relaxing atmosphere.
The staff was also excellent. Very professional and helpful but discreet at the same time. Damien and Ghislain reserved some great local restaurants for us and we reserved a few fun activities the hotel offered. We took advantage of the pool, bike rentals, delicious breakfast, bar with tasty cocktails. We could walk to several of the local restaurants, downtown and the Oyster Village where we could taste fresh oysters.
We wanted to relax by the sea in a "sophisticated" but cool hotel, we highly recommend L’Anderenis!

We had the most wonderful three night break staying in the Mirande room with views of the pool, garden and sea. From my first enquiry to sadly saying “au revoir” our experience could not have been better. The hotel is stunning, in a great location just steps from the beach. The staff and service were exceptional from the welcome fruit platter in our room to cocktails by the pool and a delicious breakfast served at tables overlooking the pool. Breakfast and dinner can also be served on your private terrace or balcony and, in true concierge style, the staff are happy to make restaurant recommendations and reservations. Thank you for one of the best hotel stays we have ever had!

Great place to be. This is a little paradise in Andernos les Bains, a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Great, friendly and supporting staff. Rooms are clean and fashionable decorated. Breakfast is good, everything you would expect. Possibility to rent bikes, located 50m from the beach side, a private parking and 100m from the center of Anderlos les Bains.
We visited with our kids 10-16 years old) and will definitely come back.

We read about this hotel in the Telegraph Travel supplement and chose to stay here after four days in Bordeaux. We arrived by bus and although early, our room was almost ready so we were warmly welcomed and had a drink on the terrace before being shown to our room, bags already delivered.
It was an oasis of peace and calm -we enjoyed the pool very much.
We chose to dine at one of the local fish shacks, L' Esquirey, delicious fresh fish.
Breakfast on the terrace was beautifully served, nice options. A larger pot of coffee would have been welcomed by my other half.
We left in good time to catch the bus but if this is your plan take note on market day the bus stop moves and sadly by the time we located it ahead the driver sailed past us & the next one was three hours later meaning we'd miss our connecting train. Getting a taxi in this town was a challenge but eventually we managed. I guess most guests will be travelling to this hotel by car but if not it's worth the hotel staff being aware of that little detail which made our departure from Andernos les Bains rather frustrating.
Beautiful hotel, thoroughly recommend.

The hotel is nice, with well appointed rooms and nice bathrooms. The whole place is a bit like toy town. It's tiny. Having said that, it has everything a good hotel should offer- a nice, all be it small pool, plenty of sun loungers and towels, with a little bar and lounge. The ground floor sea view bedrooms are somewhat misleading. They look onto a thick fence and as such have no real sea view. Teenagers congregate outside this area and party literally all night, so if you sleep with the door open, it's very very noisy. They serve a no choice main course and desert dinner in the evening which was truly first class. Chris in the bar, is an excellent bar man and the General Manager was charming, as were all the staff. The only real problem is the hotel's location, Andernos is a sort of Hayling Island or Margate type resort. Put this hotel in St Tropez or Soorts Hossegor and we would be booking for the next 5 years!

Upon arrival to this magnificent place, we were worried about the fires that made us cancel our trip to Arcachon. We looked for a place last second, and miraculously we found this boutique hotel that seems straight out of a dream.

The welcome we received was splendid. We were taken to our lovely room. The room itself was tiny but because it had a fantastic balcony, this made it feel like we had a living room. The bathroom was luxurious and they introduced me to the amazing Ecume d'Arcachon beauty products (I bought some and now I think of the Andernis every time I use it).

The pool was as chic as one you'd expect in Saint Tropez and the bar was quite nice. In the evenings they offered a mixte charcuterie platter that was so delightful and there was a concert with local performers singing pop songs.

Breakfast was also delightful. Their products were of the highest quality and served on the terrasse. It felt so elegant and sophisticated. We had such a romantic few days here that we vow to come back.

What an absolute gem of a property. Perfect location, beachfront and a two minute walk from the town square shops and restaurants. However this little oasis is a world away. Every single element of this hotel is fabulous. Staff, service, style, pool, location and the cocktail menu are all faultless. You simply must try the Marianne Bay if you stay or are passing and want a touch of class we had a minor issue when we were there, it was resolved above and beyond the call of duty with minimal fuss. Simply cannot fault this property and will most definitely be returning

A beatiful hotel where quality is apparent everywhere. Most impressive is the staff who are always attentive and friendly. Carolin made our superb breakfasts extra enjoyable. The central location is great, only a short walk to many restaurants. If you have a room with a seaview the sunsets can be sptacular.

The cocktails here are fabulous! They’ve taken time to compile a quality list which has classics but also new ideas. Beautifully presented with excellent service and friendly staff. It’s a beautiful hotel, we were staying locally and they made us feel very welcome.
