Visited back in 2019, back again. Stopped in the Bali village bungalow. Very good upgrade from the other painted cabins. Plenty of room, good large bed, A/C in all rooms, enough room outside of your own also with the brick barbecue.
The new Bali pool area really good, never to busy, like the bar and lunch area there also. The other pool and slides are always a good hit with children and adults of all ages.
Like the free train to the beach with is also suitable for all.Safe sandy beach, warm clean sea.
Some of the food outlets seem to open at random though, the buffet can get costly if all the the family go every day at 19.50 Euro/person. Do have little take away but don't ask on opening times? New Italian style restaurant is good, but only open Wed-Sat and unless pre book no chance. Again sometimes did take-away pizza when suited them.
Overall good site plenty to do, though very Spanish so expect that, not everyone can speak English, don't have dinner until 21.00 hrs and music/ entertainment on until midnight. So expect an early night, just lie in until 10.00 and go with the flow. At least when pools open at 10.00 there is no stampead (No Germans) you can pick you spot, Spanish don't seem to turn out until 11.30-12.00.
On site supermarket is very well stocked with good prices also. Do fresh bread and meat on site which is also very fair prices. If you have a car there is an Aldi and Mercodoma supermarket 5 mins away.
Overall good site, 30 mins from Alicante airport. Plenty of Spanish sun, warm sea and great pools whats not to like!

When arriving at the campsite the staff at reception were welcoming although asking repeated questions of information to what had already been requested on the booking form.

For the amount of money charged per night of the pitch I was expecting probably more than what we got. We parked up on a pitch (479) lots of room and pleasant neighbours, then the building works started. From 8am until 6/7pm everyday Monday-Friday the banging, concrete mixers, lorries arriving numerous times throughout the day. The noise was unbearable. No notice from the reception when we booked, no notice from reception when we arrived and took £££s from us, no consideration at all and just to get on with it. All the indoor swimming facilities were chargeable (January weather defo didn’t warrant being outdoors) which wasn’t a problem, but seemed excessive at €8 a time.

Shower blocks were kept clean and tidy and use of the washing machines/ dryers was ok after purchasing tokens from the shop. Access to the shop onsite was easy and had most things that you would need.

Dear customer. First and foremost we would like to thank you for choosing La Marina Camping & Resortl for your visit to Alicante and for recommending us to the travel community of Tripadvisor, this is undoubtedly the best reward for us all. The work that was being done in the area was to improve the facilities. Renovations like this allow us to offer first class facilities. We apologize if this bothered you. Again we thank you for this very kind review of our hotel and we look forward to serving you again in the future. Greetings.

Having travelled a lot throughout Europe in our motorhome we are so pleased we found La Marina Resort, it is possibly the best site we have stayed at.
The site is well run and the facilities are excellent. The moment you check in at reception you sense how friendly the site is. The staff here speak many languages and, in my experience, cannot do enough to help you.
The pitches vary in size but we found our "blue" pitch plenty large enough. The pitch was fully serviced and also had a TV connection included in the price giving a range of channels from different countries. There was also an additional internet point which you can connect to for a fee.
All the shower and washing blocks are well maintained and extremely clean. You cannot fault them.
There is a large family leisure pool with a variety of slides and of course the big tipping bucket. There is also a poolside cocktail bar. Again the area is well maintained, clean and the staff friendly.Nearby there is a substantial outdoor court area.
The gym and spa is independently run but is fantastic. Depending on your booking use of this may well be included in the price.
The bar and restaurant area is extensive and is run by a great team. They are knowledgable and friendly and time can easily slip by here.
The onsite Consum Supermarket is sufficient for all your shopping needs, carrying a huge variety of items at competitive prices.
The sandy beach is a 10-15 minute walk away, if the train is not running from the campsite. The water is generally calm, clean and warm. There are lifeguards on duty through the summer.
During the winter there are many nationalities staying longterm with a vibrant social life. From Easter onwards more local families come and the character of the site changes , however just culturally, its still great! So as you can tell I would unreservedly recommend the site.

La Marina is a well ordered vacation place with something for everyone, several pools inside and outside, bungalows and pitches of various sites, shop and restaurants, library and fun for the children. The problems are concering the personell and staff. Sometimes friendly and helpful but often ignorant attitude and even slightly hostile, ordering people around with petty rules and policies and contradictory information. Utterly ridiculous is changing gas bottles for your van or caravan -- you can't ! You need an inspection from a Repsol attendant and receive a little card. Most campsites around in the area change bottles in a simple and helpful way. La Marina staff indeed complicates life for the guests, which is sad for such a lovely spot along the coast. The staff needs hospitality education.

This campsite was one of the best place to stay in Spain for us. We are a couple without child but with a dog. A lot of different pitch for trailer - camping car or tent. We were always using the blue one as our tent is really big (11,00m to 4,60m). For bungalows, you also have a lot of choice into their “catalog”. Installation were clean. For the entertainment you have a swimming pool and a small (but more than enough) aquatic park for kids and teenager. It looks like heaven, but not so heaven ! Since 2018 they’ve started building a amphitheater with some restaurants and other advantage for campers. But in 2021, it is not ready yet, they build another village of bungalow (named Bali) with a swimming pool. But If you are not staying in the Bali area, you have to pay 8,00€ per person per day to get access to the swimming pool. In 7 year that we are coming it is the biggest disappointment in this camp site. Now they are making difference between campers even when we are out of the season ! I also have to mentioned that the swimming pool was almost empty! For us this swimming pool was the quiet are as we agreed everyone can come whenever they want. For us, it’s September - October, as it is quiet. The big swimming pool with the aquatic park is more for families and it is normal. So the other one was the quiet swimming pool so looks interesting but nope we CAN’T as we won’t pay for it. So disappointed and thinking If it’s still the right place for us ! We are already paying for the biggest pitch available with sanitary on it, to get access to the SPA which is normal, but for a swimming pool I can’t accept that. DISAPPOINTED !

Nice for a long winter stay good size pitches and bungalows but there could be more organised things for people to do during the day. The restaurant on the camp produces very poor quality expensive food no wonder there is never anybody in it. The continual improvement of facilities means there is digging noise and dust most days from 8am till late. Great place IF they ever get it finished!!!!

Would have been 5 stars but for so called low season restrictions. We came here for a couple of nights camping to scope out the resort for future family holidays. Unfortunately we are here in early June, pretty much a half term holiday for many (judging from the amount of families here with young kids) but there is only entertainment on at weekends, we won’t see the entertainment as we aren’t here Thursday to Sunday. The venue has missed a trick here as we spoke to an Irish young family who were paying for taxis to take them half an hour away to amuse their kids and they would spend their money in the resort if given a chance. Food in restaurant is nice, drinks are not extortionate, and staff are helpful and friendly. Campsite facilities are immaculate and there’s plenty of them, only one gripe from me there would be the amount of mosquitos due to the greenery around the camping pitches, I’ve never been bitten so much in my life and I live in Spain!

Great spot. Low occupancy in October. Had water park to ourselves. Kids really enjoyed the water slides. Water was still warm enough to enjoy. Beach about 1km away, nice walk through nature reserve to get there. Only two nights of entertainment since it was October. Concert was good, magician show was entirely in Spanish. Amphitheatre very nice. Some small parts of resort still not finished. We went with Bali Premium which includes a hot tub. You have to pay to get the water heated at 15 euro per day which was odd seeing we had already paid extra to get the hot tub. Accommodation was good. Food on site is average. A few nice restaurants within 2 km but I would advise a car since the overall location is a tad remote.

Very nice camping, swimming pool is loads of fun for children. Lots of entertainment at night which is free. It is very expensive for visitors (25€ p.p.). Also, you're not allowed to use the facilities on the day you leave without paying the daily fee.
