Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Tony, together with his family, has been the best host we could ask for… Starting from the morning having breakfast in the garden with Elena’s home baked cakes and fresh croissant just picked up from the bakery, until the evening with Tony’s tips on the “must eat” and “must see” of the area making him the best Cicerone you could ask for. The house is on the top of the hill with a beautiful view, 5 minutes from the medieval town of Acri and 15 min from the marine protected area of Torre del Cerrano with his beautiful and unspoiled white beaches. The rooms are nice and cosy and each of them have a private bathroom. We spend there a week and we definitely recommend l’Albero di Antonia to everyone looking for a place to relax!

Antonio made us feel like we were home from the moment we met. We fell in love with Atri and his hospitality made it all the more better. The room was very comfortable and clean, the breakfast was superb. I highly recommend it. We will be back again.

Hospitality at it’s best. We immediately felt welcome and comfortable, like family. Tony is wonderful and eager to please with his suggestions and asks what your preferences are for breakfast. Besides providing local specialties, my husband’s bacon and eggs were cooked to perfection, the coffee was excellent and he even tracked down a vegan croissant for me. The room was comfortable and homey and I loved watching the sunrise from my balcony. The views from this home are spectacular and we felt so relaxed and peaceful during our stay. Just a few minutes drive to the square. We loved it. My only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer! We’re already planning to come back again. We thank you and your family Tony for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend it!

L’Albero di Antonia is what a true bed & breakfast should be. Warm and welcoming, they make you feel like one of the family from the moment you arrive. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated, each with an en suite bathroom. The location is quite special, providing a spectacular view of the mountains and countryside. Breakfast is a delicious array of sweets and other goodies. Tony is an expert on all things Abruzzo, and happily provides recommendations on unique places to visit and things to do in the area. Free wifi, ample parking, and owners who go above and beyond to make your stay a special one - everything a B&B should be.

If you're looking to be treated like family, showered with warmth, lavished with home baked goodies for breakfast and a comfortable and welcoming room to return to after discovering the sights of Atri and the surrounding mountains and sea.....then you've found your happy place at L'Albero di Antonia. Each room is so thoughtfully decorated with attention to detail like ribbon wrapped robes and towels, fresh fruit and crisp linens. But what really sets this place apart is the feeling of staying at the well appointed home of a family member. You're greeted by a family who is not only gracious and welcoming, but they've clearly gone above and beyond to provide their guests with everything they could ever want or need. And if for some reason you need something extra (like the use of their fridge or a specific dining request), you need only ask. It was an incredible and truly unforgettable experience and I highly recommend it to solo trippers, couples and families of all ages (all of whom were guests at the B&B during my stay). It truly is a gem!

good location i.e. not far from the sea and small Abruzzo towns if you are by car, very friendly and helpful owner Toni and his family. Toni just knows everything about the region and can advice whatever you need good place on the beach, best road, restaurants, markets etc. The views from the hotel in both sides are amazing. Easy parking with lot of space.

We stayed 2 nights in April 2014 - Tony and his parents were very friendly and helpful. They advised us on places to visit, and our trip to the Gran Sasso plateau was stunning. Atri is a pretty town and makes an excellent base to explore both the coast and inland Abruzzo, which is a lovely province. Tony gave us lots of useful advice on places to visit during the rest of our trip. His mother's breakfast cake was a joy!

A very comfortable and well-appointed home where you are treated like a member of the family. The only drawback is no a.c. in the bedrooms - be sure to ask for a room with a fan if this is a concern. Views from the home are stunning and the owners are delightful, friendly and helpful.

In the beautiful town of Atri this is a jewel to experience. Yes, the room which we occupied was impeccably equipped, but the better part of it is the welcoming trio of Maria, husband Lissio and son Tony. Lissio speaks fluent English having lived in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for 15 years and Tony who was born in Toronto, moved away to Italy a little too early to perfect his English as well as Dad did. There is ample parking space for any type of vehicle. The “Albero” and the Albergo are very easy to find at the edge of town but a very comfortable walking distance from the town centre and has a sumptuous breakfast in the Italian style offering all the culinary artistry of Maria. Finally, if you choose to stay here, try to get and view the cinematic masterpiece titled “Albero di Antonia”. You will love the film and enjoy even more the “Albergo´ team. It would have been even better if the owners would make available a copy of the film in DVD to view during your stay, Congratulations LMT !
